  5. Forgot to mention tanks if you can get decent nature resist with out much loss of tanking, bring it you can resist the stomp and stun possibly. Rogue's we'll using use as the scout for the first few tries, but if any of you has over 150 nr, we'll let you start dpsing and see how it goes.
  6. on sunday the 12th should we kill Moam by 1030 we'll push on to Ossirian, if not I'll be forming a warparty on tuesday night at 10pm to bring him down. Preparing for dis I need the following: I can only take 2 warriors, and 1 rogue till we learn how to clomp him. Melee is punished on this fight so ideally you only want 2 warriors on him, everyone else range dps's , however i dont want a rogue drop to get de'd so i will bring 1 rogue till were guud at clump'n em. Relikk,Lomar, Zalkul, Smedlock, Bradius we'll figure which 2 of you to bring hoping the other 3 have 60 alts other than rogues. We'll figure out a fair rotation. Rhoach you're top rogue so you get dibs on being the rogue first weeks then we'll switch off, or if you sneaky ones want to set up a rotation that would be great. Ideally i would like the 20 members to look like: ((while were learning the fight, then i think we can bring any combo in)) 2 warriors 1 rogue 3 priests 3 druids 3 shaman 3 hunters 2 warlocks 3 mages warriors in best dmg mitigation gear healers all in best healing/spirit mana/5 gear (( mages bring a nature/shadow wand, warlocks a nature/arcane/frost )) everyone else in best dps gear EVERYONE must have a threat meter this is the 2nd key to this fight. The main key is keeping Ossirian moving to the next crystal at all times. Warriors are the key to this fight, usually you tank a mob in place this fight you run the entire fight, you only hold still for limited amounts of time, this keeps the warriors from building up very much aggro, hence the damage meters for the dps (note healers you will be dpsing if you have room on the meter to do so with out over aggroing while healing still). No abilities that add extra aggro are to be used by anyone other than warriors((ie earth shock, warlocks fire spell). Soul Stones will be on each warrior and they will be fighting for aggro the entire fight. One of Ossirian's abilities is a 9 second stun on the top of the aggro list, so one warrior will get stunned for 9 seconds we continue on with the 2nd warrior tanking him. Healers will be split into 2 teams and assigned to each warrior, you are not to cast a heal on anyone other than that warrior, also you need to work out a rotation to conserve mana as best you can, should we have extra healing then we will be healing the rogue and dps a little more. How the fight works: Ossirian hits for 10,000 - 20, 000 dmg normally, this is instant death for anyone. Place around the fight zone are large crystals they zap Ossirian and debuff him to a normal boss (( he still hits like Roh hard and fast ((800 or more even on well geared tank)) so healers keep you tank a little more toped off than usual. We pull Ossirian to the first crystal, AFTER it zaps him tanks engage him, get 1 sunder up each then run to the next crystal . (( the sunder allows the healers to keep you alive with out over aggroing enroute to crystal 2 )) Each crystal debuff lasts 45 seconds so you imediatly move Ossirian to the next crystal after you use your current one. Then you wait till 5 seconds remain on the debuff and use your current crystal. As soon as it is used you run like mad to the next crystal. After the 3rd crystal you start dps, watch the meter use aggro removing abilities!!!. Please note we only hold still for a few seconds at a crystal to maximize debuff times, so you will be movign alot to keep ossirian in range, you may find instant cast spells are you friend on this fight. Ossirian takes 1/2 dmg from all spells, but the crystals make him take double dmg to one school of magic. So you use a wand of the vulnerable type if you cant cast spell of that school, other wise let him have it but watch the threat meter!!! Shaman , Druid, Priest if you have room on the threat meter to dps some and mana to keep the tanks alive do it other wise just heal. So this leaves only our hunters,mages,loks to bring ossirian down. You must not over aggro, if you die healers will run out of mana before we can dps him down! Our rogue you will be dpsing then running out healing yourself, shooting bow till bandaid timer wears off, dpsing run out ect. during the fight ossirian has a nasty 1500 dmg stomp he uses all the time so it can crit for 2250 and knocks back. This is why you bring as few melee as possible. there are other stategies for what to do with extra melee but til we learn the fight i want to bring all the ranged dps / healers we can. Yay choice of 2 sets for all hybrids, too bad there isn't a third for your other tree or multi sets for the non hybrids.

  11. Tried Chemmy's suggestion today. Its huge and slightly over whelming. I really like some parts of it but there are way too many options to be set up/changed around so I need to figure out what parts belonged to what. I did forget to back up my fonts folder. Anyone know how to get the old fonts back, I miss them?, dabu.
  12. This is a long over due write up. Information contained here in had been stolen from other websites, field tested and reposted as my own. Most was "barrowed" from Wowwiki. Holy cow is this long and I keep remembering things I need to add. Moam or (the big meanie of a sphinx 3 bosses in on the right) Like most aq boss fights this fight consists of two or more phases. The 2nd phase begins at 90 seconds. Phase I (mana suck age) During Phase 1 and all odd numbered phases 3, 5, 7, etc... Moam steals 500 mana from a cone arc (120 degrees is my best guess after many fights here) of casters. All casters in this arc loose 500 mana and Moam gains 1000 for each person in it. This is why the casters need to be spread out surrounding Moam as best as you can. ALSO don't drink mana pots or use mana regen abilities during this phase as Moam will just steal it right back. DO cast instant cast spells once you run out of mana as soon as you can (if you cast a 3 sec spell, the mana can get stolen during the 3 seconds and the spell fizzles) Once we all run out of mana, Moam, can't steal very much mana anymore so we won't have to worry about Moam getting full. Should Moam reach approx 100 percent mana , a 3000 point arcane blast insues, with another 1000 ish dmg in falling. This kills all the rogues,shamans,druids except a tank or two. So on weeks that we have less that 3 priests, 3 Warlocks, and a hunter to drain mana Moam will explode as some point during the fight. We therefore should run away when moam hits 80percent mana. Note moam’s mana drain isn't predictable do to the random facing arc that gets drained, so some mana drains are 5 percent gain for Moam others are 20 percent or more if people are clumped together with mana. Melee dps then needs to watch moam’s mana and run away at 75-80 percent then come back after the explosion on said weeks. Moam's 2nd ability is an aoe cleave for around 1000 dmg. This can mostly be avoided by having all melee dps on the back side of moam. However moam will change facing to drain mana so staying spread out is still important for melee too so you all don't get caught in the aoe at the same time as healing is limited. Moam can be taunted, so you can dps slightly harder than normal, but watch your place in the threat meter. Taunt will only give the warriors 6 seconds to regain their top spot, so if you over aggro back off for a few seconds completely. Phase 2 (gargoyle love) This begins at exactly 90 seconds after moam was aggroed. Two things happen: 3 adds spawn and Moam enters stoneform. Stoneform Moam no longer deals any dmg nor steals mana. Moam's armor and mana regen rates do go sky high. Casters can and should now drink mana pots as you will most likely be oom. Warriors can put away their shields and dps like mad. Healing druids should intervate a healer, and if not themselves re cat form and dps moam till dead. Shaman's should heal any dmg from the add spawning and if they were all banished go help dps allowing mana to regen. Fiery weapon totem will help the melee dps deal more dmg due to Moam's high armor in this state. Moam no longer stealing mana will regen mana rather quickly but not quite as fast as he stole it. Warlocks will be banishing / draining mana/ doting if able. Priests should be mana burning still and doting when moam's mana is below 50. Note Phase 2 ends after 90 more seconds of if Moam reaches full mana, so keeping the mana below full is #1 priority for priests / warlocks. Should 90 seconds pass or Moam reach full mana phase 3 starts which is just another phase 1 which should 90 seconds pass phase 4 or another 3 spawn of elementals, though last this long with out killing moam would be harder than just killing it. If we don't kill Moam before he comes out of stoneform we will most likely wipe. Therefore if the mana drain is keeping moam from gaining mana priests should shadow word pain, and warlocks stack up instant cast dots too. The Spawns 3 elementals spawn in a triangle centered on Moam. They have few hit points, but chain cast an approximately 1000 point arcane blast, also if you take dmg from this you will be silenced for 10 seconds. Warlocks need to call out if silenced so we can immediately burn down there add. Hunters need to instantly shoot the spawns when they appear to pull them away from Moam. Note they are immune to your distracting shot, so one regular shot on them is all you need. Your goal is to pull them far enough away from Moam that their aoe attack no longer hits the melee dps. Warlocks will then banish their assigned hunters elemental. Both hunter and warlock's pets should then be on the elemental to keep it distracted when it becomes unbanished. Warlocks need to time there banishes exactly, the KEY to this fight is keeping these permanently banished till moam dies. Warlocks should be recasting banish before the old spell wares off, half a second (.5) from finishing your banish spell your elemental pops back into the world and is immediately rebanished. Note they instantly cast arcane blast on repoping and will tear through the melee dps. This does require some skill and a timer or mod. I recommend you practice some time on elementals in arathi highlands to get the timing down. Once your elemental is banished you need to retarget moam and drain/dps till just before your add comes loose. Technically this is a great fight to prove your stuff warlocks. Once Moam goes down the adds should be killed one by one as they unbanish. Melee dps should be careful to bandage to full health before engaging unless you have high arcane resist or hit points. Class by Class summary (p=phase) Main Tank: p1 Keep aggro. p2 put away shield, pick up loose adds should no other tanks be available. Warriors: p1 DPS like crazy p2 DPS even harder. Use bandaids, pick up loose spawns and tank them, if re banished dps moam more use potions when needed throughout and get health stones before we get there. Rogues: p1 DPS hard use bandaids if you get caught in aoe too many times, bring health potions, get health stones before we get to moam. p2 DPS moam, stay on moam even if we have loose spawns only the tanks should engagespawns in melee: Don't forget your bandaids. Shaman: p1 primary healers call out when oom an go dps then. Heal as you get mana back. p2 Drink a mana pot, help heal tanks/dps from the spawns. Ranged dps spawns if loose then DPS Moam. Druid: p1 Start in cat form DPS. As shamans run out of mana pop and help heal. If your about go oom recat and DPS. p2 pop inervate a healer, if not self recat and DPS, other wise help heal then dps once all adds are banished Mage: p1 DPS fast, run out of mana as quick as possible so Moam cant keep stealing any. Wand and cast instants as mana comes back. p2 Drink mana pot/mana regen talent then maximum dps on Moam, assist killing any loose adds first though that weren't banished. Priests: p1 Chain Cast Mana Burn. p2 Drink mana pot, Chain Cast Mana Burn. If Moam's mana is under control ie going to stay below 100 for the next 90 seconds then cast a dot if mana permits. Hunters p1 DPS Moam, at 30 seconds in lay one ice trap 1/2 way to moam to pull the spawns into. p2 Drink mana pot, pull spawn to ice trap put pet on it. Then DPS loose spawns if all are controlled then DPS moam. Warlocks p1 Cast curse, Mana Drain over an over if moam's mana below 50 stack up instant cast dots p2 Drink Mana potion assist your hunter Banish his target once its banished, Mana Drain Moam, retarget and banish your add before it repops, if spawns all banished and moams mana is under control recast dots then mana drain somemore. You are the KEY to this fight keep your add banished, and rebanish it without it even taking a breath, and we win!!!

  14. Only useful shaman mod i really like is totem timer. It adds time remaining on each totem, and lets you recast it from the timer. Found this very useful when i'm leading lets me drop my totems and give warning when they expire (( used to forget to redrop them or overly redroped them in a panic on boss fights)) . Also adds a timer for your weapon buff that you can recast from the screen with. I'm still looking for useful mage/rogue ui for ghosa and putralia any suggestions? Currently just using ctmod and the tick.
  15. Rawr dah ahn qiraj warparty has down a new enemy dah ebil construct Moam! Dit was trully a sight to behold. Relikk saved the day picking up an add. Hunter's and Warloks did an excellent job of seperating banishing dem spawns. Priests did a great job of balancing dmg vs mana drain vs heals. Shaman's healed to the best of thier ability, surri Lomar i tink we just needed one more druid an ju would hab made it. Rogue great jobs of slicing to the max with out pulling aggro. *cries* dit was buteful, dabu dabu dabu, pat all yourselves on da bak side. ((Having an extra priest and 3 warloks made all the difference. Once again if you have extra: Dream Foil , Dream dust, strangle kelp, Life root, fish oil we use alot for each run so bring sum or mail em to a guild Alche. ((Putralia is my alt alchemist)) Also if you want to bring an alt for the Perfect Poison quest that's fine just let me know. See latz next week looking forward to doing it again. ))
  16. Ug latz we try'n to get a 2nd aq raid off the ground this week. We need just a few more healers and one warrior or a feral druid, and 2 more priests (this is the main thing were shy atm). Marner if we get enough we'll swap members so both raids have an even balance of experienced people. I may not make ony (visiting my dad, he got out of the hospital last week and they took the trachea out 2 weeks ago so he's back to normal except the broken ribs) but ask around there if any classes were still missing want to go.
  17. i linked this one too else where, it is a good read. Still trying to learn more about other trade skills to find out what I want to keep. Also found all the skill books from aq20 and other places will just be trainable from your trainers at lvl 62. Anyone found any other good reads?
  18. Rawr! Me an dah spirits stomp'un gud it we see um. Brudd'r Benim's tribe (Muru) was assaulted way back when long ago. Fear not latz may nub get to clomp fer a few many muuns. Latz will get jer stuff back eventually jus hab to be patient dah gods move slowly. Me stir up dah fire spirits and wind to seek revenge fer latz. (( It took a week for then Muru to get his account back, and another week to get his gear and toons back if i remember right. If it was a gold hacker they prolly sold off all your stuff and possibly deleted toons. You will get all this back, just have to be patient))

I'm sure we all have our favorite right ups so far I really like this one. 200 hours approx. to 70 so Gordy will be 70 by 10 days from launch , personally i'm planning on leveling slowly rping alot more, and having fun with all the new lore and places to explore, I really miss the "new" feeling of the game.

  22. Dabu latz dat came out for the greater wind stone run. Me hope latz had fun. Fer dos nub familar wit Slithus des da biggest stones guarded by powerful elementals. Dah crushers smashed up 3 of these dis week. Me provided all dah mats fer 2 summons, dabu Marner fer dah loaner signet, and Gordy summoned un too. If latz want to summon more get tah Honored with Cenarion circle. Den latz need a ring (( 5 shards, 3 signets from duke kills each)) a necklace (( 1 shard, 3 abysal crests from lesser windstones)) and a full twilight suit. (( For those bad @ recursive math a total of 37 full suits and 9 shards for the summon)) Fer all dis wurk ju get dibs on dah sceptre dat drops. Dis ju can turn in for a greater spoils bag in slithius. After da first turn in, it takes 3 septres to get the same bag. In dah bag latz will find: 85 gold (( this can vary not sure by how much on items and stuff)) 8 Dense sharpening stones 3 Essences of fire 5 Greater Healing pots 5 Greater Mana pots 5 Greater arcane elixirs 5 Greater Shadow Resist 5 Greater Fire Resist 5 Greater Frost Resist 5 Greater Nature Resist Nub bad at all fer dah work, getting the 37 suits and groups to kill dukes/lessers Relikk Gordy wat latz get fer jer turn ins.
