Gordy's monday group downed Moam on their 4th try this week, really the only difference was the warloks keeping the adds banished better, they kept all 3 banished right at moam, but would start the rebanish casts before they poped loose, so they were never loose more than a half second. I will be having the warloks focus more on their banished target and less on mana draining during the stone form add phase, since this is what seems to be wiping us. Also we'll try the hunter pull the adds away then banish idea a few times.

Same as everyone else you'll have say 3/3/3 for past 3 attendances at the start, ie you get dibs on items that rogues with less than 3 weeks attendance, or have won that item in past 3 weeks. I'll still keep a total tally for who gets in the raid each week, also if you're an alt in the run, talk with the regulars, see if they wouldn't let you go once in while.

Gordantell had a great idea and I'm going to go with it. We will have 3 raid counters from now on for a round robin system. One for books, one for quest items, or for epics. You'll bid for items when they drop, if you win an item all of your attendance points for that item type will reset. For example you've been 3 times with out winning an item 3/3/3, a book drops and you get it, your now at 0/3/3. Next week you get nothing now at 1/4/4. Any one see any problems with this system or if i'm over looking anything? This would exclude first timers from every getting an item unless two of class item droped, until the regular got dibs on the item first. Thoughts?

Took a vote this week for going dkp came up 9 for , 8 against, so assuming Chrysala would vote for 10/8 anyother regulars who wanted to vote please message me. Now we need to work out details for the dkp system. To help this out can everyone whom has an epic drop or book please post what they have so far, only completed quests epics, epic drops, or books. Idols were pretty much sharing with one another for turns ins atm, with loans and i'm happy with that. Or would we want the idols figured in dkp wise? Crikrunner drops so far: Ring Cape Book of Str. Ill update attendance and post it tuesday for all to see. actually if i had it to do over, I'd collect the idols like scarabs in guild bank and give them out with the ring / cape / hilt dropped you won all the parts for the turn in (or what ever was available for it). How's that sound? then dkp for the ring/cape/hilt, epic drops , books?

Other idea I had was bidding attendance points for an auto win. We'd decide what in weeks of attendance each item is worth. If something drops you really really want, you could spend these points for an auto win, if 2 people tried to use their auto on one item the one with the greater life attendace would get it. something like: idol 2 weeks ring/drape/hilt (assuming faction ok) 5 weeks epics 6 weeks books 4 weeks only problem i see with this is people using it all the time and it becomes a non logged dkp then, making it harder to get pug members

((I'd like to open this up for discussion. Chrysala would like us to consider a zero sum dkp for the aq20 runs. Honestly I'm lazy, but if people want this I'd set it up and run it. I'm content with the way loot is now, I wish quest items perhaps went to regulars with faction over others, but trying to do that with the weapon hilts, only letting those with highest factions that want them roll. Mages in particular haven't had much gear drop nor books. Heck the only purples to drop so far were the 2 swords, 1 dagger if i remember right. We've had lots of rogue and priest books and a few of the other classes. If we did zero sum dkp would the Idol + Idol + ring/drape/hilt = one epic in points and books be 1/2 or how would people like to do this? Would we start fresh with say 10 dkp from attendance points, I can track down what people have completed purples so far, but rest of loot I don't remember who got it? Once again I want people to have fun. My idea was to give Ossirian's head to people that have highest attendance with fewest epics/books so far. You get choice of these for turn in. Would that even it out? Also with expansion coming we may not get to ossirian before then, also the books may become null and void once it comes out. Thoughts commments? )) Since we be a clan of orcs mah first idea was to form a ring after each boss kill, all taht want dah tresah , enter ring clomp each udder, who eber still in ring get tresah. (Saddly this wouldn't work out too well time wise, though it would be fun)

Right after we killed Buru, got a call from my dad's girlfriend that he was in a car wreck and in the icu. Freaked me out for sure. He's going to be fine though, just in alot of pain for a while. They have him on a respirator till he's a little more stable. I'm just glad no one else was hurt. I'll know more after I get to talk with him some. Thanks again for support .

we have 21 small obsidian shards in the raid bank atm , was thinking the shields would be nice, we'll get 1-4 large shards from Moam once we learn to drop her. Not sure how many the pile he turns into yields. Was thinking the shield would be nice if the tanks need them? Or any of the other Mail/Plate if anyone wants anything made out of the shard for nr ? Pretty much up for grabs for the guild to decide

me tink'n wit dis new strategy we get him down each week. ((Key is to not pop the last egg till you dps him down to 21 percent health. Then you only have to drop him from 15 percent to zero in the 30seconds you have, over 1/2 of us were still standing doing it this way. How many times did we drop him from 20percent to 1 percent, at least 10 times already )) Dah next challenge be getting Moam or Ayamiss in our pot too. Just an odd idea I just had. Not sure if others think this will helpful/worth while but here it goes. What if we created little blurbs that explained all the boss fights, raid leaders could then copy/paste them into macro's for use during raiding. I know after doing say the General in aq20 , ten times i may forget to mention key things from week to week or even explain it entirly for replacements when they come in. We could then use each others ideas to condense these boss strategy blurbs down to be as small as possible to fit in a macro and quickly communicate said info to the raid. This would also be invaluable for those without team speak in addition to just makeing sure the basics are covered week to week. Your thoughts sisters and brudders?
