We need some major upgrades to do that. So far we've gotten the third chest once, and that was with 2 min to spare. realistically we need to shed at least 10 more minutes off to even have a shot, and that will require T5-T6 gear for everyone in the raid. Oh well, it is a goal to keep us going.

Even the nature resistant leather tends to rot when soaked in the contents of the peetub.

Just a warning, although it is possible to run with 3 tanks, you don't really want more than 2 tanks unless you lack CC, otherwise you will not have enough dps for some of the encounters, plus for most of the encounters (everyone but midnight/attuman, moroes, and opera) only one tank is required. Probably the best bet is to have the third tank be an offspec (ret/holy pal or arms/fury warrior) and make sure they have good DPS/healing gear. A feral druid of course is the best offtank, since they do not need to really spec differently for dps/tanking. As for healers, unless you have two well geared and specced healers, it is best to go with 3 (or 2 specced healers and 1 off healer). The key encounter that checks to see if you have enough healing/dps/cc is moroes. If you can't get past him you will need to rethink your group make up.

No need to tonight... it seems that many of our raiders have agro'd the Valentine monster, and as a result they will be courageously battling for thier lives in thier own 2 man groups this evening, leaving the rest of us quite a few short to pound some Vashj.

.... And who can forget the title! ... and the best DPS ring in the game for a survival hunter. And to reiterate what baracko said, we definately need to get some of our raid members geared for more health (yes it is ok to trade some marginal amounts of DPS stats for a much larger health pool, I keep stam gear for situations where it is required), plus to increase our raid DPS to the point where we can beat enrage timers in HS/BT. The big benefit of this change is to make it easier to get replacements once we are geared for there, without having to drag them through SSC/TK.

Just some additional points. Improved slam only truly shines if you have lots of rage... which isn't the case most of the time unless you are being hit hard. Arms warriors are ok for soloing, and only can provide equal raid DPS to a fury warrior in T6 gear with windfury, and in fights with lots of raid damage (to build thier rage). Fury warriors on the other had are rarely rage starved, since they are dual wielding (offhand generates rage). Fury warriors only limitation to raid DPS is their threat generation. Then there is prot leveling, which is all about endurance (takes longer to down stuff, but alot less down time between encounters). The big advantage to arms warriors while leveling is that they have a higher chance to hit than fury warriors.

I hope these help you Zeb, we sure would like to hear from you too. Also, as Kadiana discovered last night, her mic boost wasn't found under the record settings, but under the playback settings, so if you can't find it under record, try there.

Overall your gear is pretty good with your belt being the only weak link, your best bet for easy upgrades is replace that belt with an 'of the bandit' green, or even better, the vindicator belt from BG's. As for your chest piece it's not all that bad, you may want to consider having the felstalker chest piece crafted (it's the best pre-epic piece). Make sure you get enchants on everything, and gem up accordingly (you can armory me as for which enchants/gems are best for hunter DPS). I also know the pain of lack of cash after the purchase of an epic mount... as have all of us that have one, but the cash will flow in like crazy if you keep up at doing the netherwing dailies. I'm sure that Calendar will consider you for a replacement slot.

*Looks at the video and peers at Vag* I wouldn't mind pounding that a few times, it looks like fun. On a more serious note, this looks like highly challenging and technical fight, although it does look fun with some interesting mechanics. I'm impressed with the high quality of production too. I do have a few lingering questions as to some of the stuff in phase 2, but nothing serious.

Hi, I just wanted to add that looking at the WWS logs, our DPS is improving everytime we go in there. I would also like to encourage everyone who are still using green quality gems to switch to blue quality gems, and if they have a gear slot without an enchant - get one, even if it is a stam kit. Every little bit helps guys. Look at the WWS logs, they are a great tool, as long as people don't use them to stroke thier epeen. Also use WWS to compare what you are doing to other people in your class, to see if you could be doing things better, or differently. And if you don't understand what another player is doing, ask - it is the only way you will know, and it may improve your play. Kailand *added link for the lazy (same as the first post) WWS Stats *
