  1. Well, I must be dying. My old friend Rel has come to visit me - said Myrtera as she continued to feign sleep. I know - it has been a long time. I missed you very much, but war has kept me away. Slowly, Myrtera opened her eyes. She continued to lay, bones of unknown animals lay strewn out throughout her lair. Rel noted that nothing of value lay about, the old dragon had decided to live out the remaining days in poverty and seclusion, isolating herself in a remote hilltop cave, with no easy accessible way to gain entrance to her lair. One would have to have wings in order to gain entrance, if even they could find the cleverly concealed cave. Although her eyesight was limited, she was able to hunt at night, leaving no trace that she even existed. Country folk simply blamed the occasional disappearance of their animals to roaming bandits or horde. How does the war go Tauren? Not good. They have gained the support of Nytela... Myrtera raised her great head at this and heaved herself up - Nytela! She was a whelp when I was in my prime. What business is it of hers to involve herself in this matter? Relikk faced the wall and sighed - "We don't know." He shook his head slowly and lowered it. "We thought her to be neutral. The dragons have always remained neutral in such matters between the horde and alliance." He turned his head to witness her expression. Can your force defeat her? She asked emotionless. "No." Relikk faced the wall again. "The situation is dire, with her aerial assault and the alliance holding the ground beneath her, we have been unable to stop the advance. Now they sit outside of Ogrimmar, determined to spare not a single one. They will move the catapults up, and when they get them within range, they will lob firebombs over our walls and pound us to dust. Then they will turn their attention to Thunderbluff. Nytela has destroyed the outer towers and communications have been cut. Very few have been able to get in our out. Cairne has dispatched an army, only to be discovered and routed by the elves with Nytelas assistance. So, you have come here to ask for my assistance in this matter? Myrtera questioned Yes. Would you be willing to ask Lady Soriasiia or Lady Onxyia to intervene? Thrall has commissioned it that any dragon kin assistance would be rewarded greatly. Myrtera smiled slowly, and looked away Relikk faced her again, annoyed at the silence. "I will ask Onxyia myself!" Myrtera lowered her head; facing the wall, sleep slowly consuming her. The silence continued, save for her breath. Perhaps one of them would be willing to help us, in exchange for land! - Relikk remarked, hoping to illicit a response. Her eyelid at the halfway point now, she lifted her head, bemused - Would they Relikk? Yes. We would push the alliance back assistance! - Relikk stammered and snorted. Onyxia hides in the back of her lair, just beyond puberty of a whelp herself. Nytela would feast on her corpse, as she has already done to Soriassiia - Myertella stated evenly. Relikk looked away, defeated, and began to make his way to the cave entrance. You said Thrall would be willing to exchange land for assistance? - Myertella asked. Relikk stopped, continued to look at the exit, and nodded. And if he made this agreement, no horde would come to trespass upon that land? - Myrtera lifted herself up again. He nodded again. ** The lieutenants in charge of Ogrimmars defense continued to bark orders to put out fires and quickly re-man deserted posts and remove the charred corpses. Thrall had additional reserves brought up from the rear. The western defenses held with the assistance of the damned. A sizeable force had been able to fortify and defend it quite successfully, for Lady Sylvanas dispatched her most trusted and loyal commander Maube, known throughout as a formidable dragonslayer. Nytela continued to make attacks on the western flanks, testing it's defenses, but it had become painful and risky for her, for should a mortal strike befall her, she may not be able to make it back to the alliance lines and to the healing powers of the Paladins. Still, however, the alliance forces made good headway, and had taken the valley of spirits. It was in the Valley of Spirits that the great darkspear troll leader Vol'jin, had perished to the alliance forces. His smoldering body lay out amongst the hundreds of defenders, unreachable by the horde, and defaced by the crusaders. ** She barreled down the cave entrance with amazing speed while Relikk held fast, ducking and hoping to clear the cave ceiling. Her wings unfurled as she dropped down into the valley below, the dive providing the speed and lift to her webbed wings. Wings that were peppered with holes throughout, unlike that of a young virulent dragon. He noticed that many of her blue scales were missing, leaving the soft flesh exposed in many places to the sharp edge of a weapon. In the areas where she had scales, they were frayed and damaged, a possible reason why her lair had been barren. Long ago, when adventurers were getting close to her lair, she would avoid conflict and leave. Many a brave soldier livened up their tales of her demise in taverns throughout Kalimdor, failing to provide anything of value in copper or coin, or even her hide to prove it, all at the amusement of patrons. Rumors spread that the lair had been abandoned, and no further expeditions were sent in search of fame and fortune. They rode silently through the valleys, over hills and lakes and between lush mountains. Occasionally passing encampments of horde towns that he had avoided while traveling through. Smoke bellowed out of the stone buildings, while dark smoldering circles marked the location of tents. In each horde town our outpost they passed, the situation was the same with no activity. By midafternoon they reached the area known as Mulgor, and stopped to rest at the edge of a lake. Myrtera suggested they arrive in Ogrimmar at night, to avoid alerting too many. She knew that the human lead alliance would spot her arrival no matter what time they arrived, but out of long habit of hunting at night, she had decided that this would be the best way to proceed as both of the main armies rested. They spoke for a short while, and then Myrtera lowered her head and slept while he stood guard. The sun dipped behind the mountains, and the land became dark. Creatures of the night screeched and skittered away, avoiding the small campfire. Rel looked upon her, studying her features and pondered her long life. In her day, she must have been a grand, beautiful creature. She was the Queen of this land at one time, master of all that she surveyed. Now, her blue coat of scales looked much like a moth eaten robe. Even short trips made her tired. What have I gotten her into? He thought. He realized then that she didn't plan on gathering the support of her brethren, but that she had it in her mind to handle this herself. A giant cat lay at her feet when she awoke, and after they both ate in silence, she thanked him for the provision. Myrtera, what is it that you are planning on doing? - Relikk questioned I plan to meet Nytela. Let us go. Relikk hesitated - You are not going to face her? She is strong, in her prime. He focused on a patch of scales that were missing. Myrtera lifted her head to full height. I am older than the hills themselves, older than the lakes and the streams that flow from it. I have seen things you wouldn't understand, tauren. I remember your ancestors, ones that even your father's father has not known. I have seen the black dragons frozen in the caverns of time. I have seen the legends that they speak about over pints of ale, and the battles they fought. Let me handle Nytela, and you worry about the alliance. Myrtera lifted into the air with the Tauren warrior, and flew towards Ogrimmar. Inside, Myrtera was concerned. Her vision from her only good eye was slowly leading to blindness. She knew she could not match Nyteras speed or agility. II Fires from the encampments could be seen outside Ogrimmar, catapults continued to fire their deadly payload. The alliances had catapults within range and were firing over the walls of Ogrimmar's outer gates, while Ogrimmar's defenses answered the shots rarely. Battering rams were positioned to punch the gates, while the orc defenders continued to rain arrows and blunderbuss shots through murder holes. The existence of Ogrimmar in its present condition could be measured no longer in days, but hours. A war cry from the horde broke out when they spotted the circling dragon, and they quickly scurried under doors to avoid her breath. The human attack continued, with a short triumph shout from the alliance. No one took notice that she was visibly different than the dragon that had been circling Ogrimmar for days. Relikk patted her neck and pointed down, Myrtera focused on that point, and began a steep dive. He could feel her lungs filling beneath him as she formed a path that would take them directly over human vanguard line. The alliance front lines collapsed as lightening licked from the point of Ogrimmar's outer walls, over the battering rams, and between every man, dwarf and elf within the envelop of Myrtera's bolt. Like a spider web, it reached out from the arc point of contact and raced across the ground seeking out victims. It did not discriminate, for even an orc fell over dead from the surge. Only the neutral ground prevented the web from continuing over the walls of Orgrimmar and stilling the heartbeat of every creature that stood within the city. A great cheer arose from Ogrimmar as hordes men rushed back to the outer walls to view the devastated alliance line. Charred bodies lay crumpled over one another, some ran as flames continued to consume them. The wooden rams splintered and saturated in flames, as if a great fire had been made for a feast. The alliance drew back, their main force under the protection of their archers. It was then that Myrtera landed upon the scorched grounds of the inner courtyard, and Relikk dismounted to meet with the elders and organize a counter attack. A war cry had arose once again, as the horde defenders pointed towards the alliance lines, and beheld the arrival of Nytela, flying low over the smashed lines. Orc archers readied themselves, this time more confident and in high spirits. Nytela circled the air above the alliance encampment; she flew low to view the field. The humans continued to wave to her, as to wave an allegiance to her. She continued the circle, and as she made her way back around towards Ogrimmar's outer gates, she gathered up both speed and rage that the alliance forces hadn't already broken through into the inner sanctum of the city. Whatever had destroyed the vanguard would pay. Dearly. As she flew towards the outer gates, a great bellow was heard as Myrtera unfolded her wings and lifted from courtyard. Nytela broke to the right as Myrtera's head began to emerge from the outer wall, to swing back around over the safety of the alliance archers. Her original plan had been to fly directly over Orgrimmar and destroy the remaining archer positions, but all that had changed with the arrival of the ancient one. ** The two dragons circled, gaining altitude for the imminent battle. Nytela gauged her opponent as she leveled off and slowly glided over her healers. Myrtera continued to climb, all but ignoring the presence of her opponent. Nytela's eyes gleamed as she realized Myrtera had outdistanced the safety of her healers, and climbed quickly to meet her above Orgrimmar. Flames scorched Myrtera's right wing, burning away some of the webbing in between the spines of her wing as they passed. Myrtera's lightening scarred the scales of Nytela, leaving a visible black line upon her torso, which slowly smoldered. They circled each other many times again, as horde and alliance watched below in wild fascination. The catapults lay silent, the sword and shield lay still upon every soldier as eyes watched the battle above. The only thing that could be heard was the fluttering of flags and the whisper of prayers. Nytela's speed and agility soon began to show, as she managed to cleverly gain an advantageous position behind Myrtera in which she used to cleave and continually wound her. Myrtera labored to keep aloft, unable to dodge Nytela’s flame breaths or use her lightening effectively. Nytela focused more attacks on to Myrtera's right wing, which produced a black smoke and which caused Myrtera to continue circling to the right, making her next moves more predictable. Blue scales occasionally rained down unto the battlefield at each time they clashed, to the cheer of the alliance, and to the silence of the horde. It soon became evident that Nytela was toying with the elder dragon, and the world stood still as she stopped in mid air, flapping her great wings as Myrtera vainly attempted to gain more altitude. The old dragon was slow, tired, and mortally wounded. Blood streamed from her body now as Nytela’s incessant attacks left deep gouges that ran red with blood. Nytella decided that it was time to end this battle, and finish the old dragon. But what Nytela had in speed and agility, she lacked in wisdom. And to her great surprise, as Nytela climbed towards her, Myrtera turned and faced her. Nytela’s flame breath enveloped Myrtera face, burning out her eyes, which popped from the infernal heat. Nytela turned, but it was too late as Myrtera’s incredible dive speed proved too much as she plunged headlong into Nytela, claws extended, mouth open to fasten upon any flesh that came into contact with it. Both sides would later say they saw a giant ball of flames and lightening, blue and red wings collapsed and flapping as the two plummeted head over tail, around and around, together in a death grip toward the ground. Like a hundred giant drums, the ground shook as they hit, each lifeless in a sea of burning flesh. The ancient dragons altitude advantage became an aerial rule of thumb for many latter engagements, and many a tavern tale. Orgrimmar had been saved, and it was soon after that the alliance forces were pushed back, to battle lines that are drawn today. -End- **** -Rel
  2. I had joined pug groups to ZG several months ago and I never progressed further than the bat boss. Either the raid went ultra slow (two bosses per raid event) or we wiped alot with a heavy repair bill (usually a combination of both). Last night was fun, we accomplished alot and I would like to go again. Rel

The issue with Onyxia bothers me as well. Sleyvas said the same thing, and he was right. Players who get their head piece then never show up again really bother me too, especially if they get it on their very first visit. Rel

I use the term 'graduation' to reflect that we have defeated all bosses in MC. It does not mean we will be finished, and as to how long we do MC it is not my decision. However, it is my intent to do Molten Core for a very long time, my expectation is that I will probably doing MC for another six months as I enjoy it. Like you said, tier 2 legs drop there, and that means approx 40 more weeks. Imagine, 40 more weeks, with some weeks producing 2 to 9 BoE drops! I think we have the same idea to be honest, and sadly, I think that we will begin to disenchant BoP items and selling the rest while everyone has 8/8 and is working on getting the tier 2 legs and various other new items ragnaros drops If people do not want to perform the summoning option, I have no objection to grinding all the way back to Shazz's room on Friday night. It is of my opinion though, that we will achieve the BoE objectives you mentioned in due time. Option 1: Summoning to the tunnel for Friday night Pros: a) Saves alot of time, skips half of the entire instance of trash mobs. b) Sulfuron, Golemagg and Majordomo down within 1 to 2 hours. c) Expect to be at Ragnaros with buffs by between 10 and 10:45, with a second shot possible. d) possible BoE drops between main entrance and ragnaros Cons: a) Less chance for BoEs Perhaps I am biased, I really hate ending the night with only 1 shot on a boss and failing, or having some players log off and not be a part of this momentus event due to work concerns. I would rather have 2 or even 3 shots at it. Please feel free to discuss further and then Maube can let us know either way. We can always give it a try and see how it works out, and whether it is worth it or not. Rel

That was one of my considerations Waldonnis, however, my concern is progressing further and graduating from Molten Core via taking Ragnaros down, which achieves multiple objectives, aside from being a big moral booster. Players want to see more content in the game. For those interested in BOE items - which we will continue to obtain each week anyway - they either have the option of joining BOE crusades to MC, or consider extending their MC raiding beyond that of a normal raid schedule. Raids

As Molten Core is starting up this week - I would like to see more donations of both your time and resources. When you give, you receive as well, and the difference can mean we progress further. Toss a stack of candles to the priests and any other class that requires regeants. Shameless plug here, but if you have any dreamfoil send it my way and I will make the FR pots to send to Maube, or you can purchase FR pots for the raid so as to save those resources. Two stacks (10 total) of FR pots should be in your bag when you show up for Molten Core. One more thing: Start to think about how we can save time. Not a word should be issued from our beloved commander in cheiftess when a surger comes rushing into our raid party when we are already engaged with Molten Destroyers. Warlocks banish immediately and hunter's pets with taunt already going after it should be standard protocol, and helpful if a warlock be unable to banish it. Priests who aren't covering the MT's should already have a bubble on the warlock. What we want are proactive players who think ahead and ensure the safety and survivability of our raids. I would love to see more flawless victorys, save for the customary sacrificial Scryll death which enhances item drops Keep in mind folks, everyone is doing an excellent job, and I see warlocks already doing a great job of doing this, just want to make sure they continue to do a great job without being nervous and that they will have the coverage they require when performing those actions. Same thing, if two giants rush at us, I have no problem if Zak, Cwn, lomar or any other tank battles for it's attention. Just remember that the MT's healers and backup healers may not be ready for all that damage you are taking, so toss up a shield wall and have a macro ready that *you* require heals, and all that shaman, druid and priest lubbin will come your way =) ** Tank rotations - We will be doing more of this in the future. Send me an email in game if you want to tank, let me know what your stats are (FR, Defense, spec etc). Alhazad will continue to be a main tank until he doesn't want to do it anymore, I will rotate my position out so that everyone get's a chance. I just need to talk to Maube about this. ** Also wanted to suggest a strategy that other guilds use in Molten Core to save time. What other top guilds are doing (when their MC raid is split into two days like ours) is clear the bosses up to and including Shazz. Then, leave three players in the tunnel between Garr's room and Shazz. These three are 1 warlock and 2 others (doesn't matter what class) that do not leave the raid. The tunnel will be empty as there is only 1 core hound that patrols that tunnel, and since that core hound is dead (as well as Mags), the core hound will not respawn. The three volunteers for this would be unable to use that particular character on Thursday, as it must stay in the tunnel and in the raid. A warlock would be required to have enough summoning shards for 37+ players, or we could have two warlocks to split the difference. I would be willing to assist summoning, I'll just play an alt on Thursday. This would mean that we would be at Sulfuron within 20 mins, and I would guess we would be at Ragnaros by 10 p.m. Of course, we would have to clear the entrance to rags, but that's a short run anyways, and we usually end up doing that anyways. Big hug to all, Rel p.s. I want to remind you all to be polite and respectful to each other. I have very little tolerance for rude people that had no real justification for being mean and nasty. If you have questions or concerns, please let the raid leaders know and be polite about it.
  8. Same here, playing on Saturday afternoon is a big no-no unless something comes up and family doesn't want to go out. Evenings are best, including Sat night.
  9. Crik, I wanted to find out if we could have a double AQ20 raid, I would love to see Ossirian. What are your thoughts on a raid within the 3 day period of this raid, i.e. Kurrinaaxx and General Rajaxx on first raid, then Buru the gorger, Moam, Arymis the hunter and Ossirian on the second. It means we could spend more time learning the last three bosses instead of spending time on the first two. Rel
  10. Last night I logged in very late, mainly due to errands and still dealing with a headcold. Arriving in felwood, I expected to farm up some more dreamfoil for the FE pots. Received a tell from the AC Molten Core raid that Greenbull was not available and if I would come (where are you GB? =( ) I forgot about the agreement I made w/ Grimgor that I would help temporarily until the Skullcrusher raid was back on (my bad, I blame this on my headcold). I was thoroughly impressed with the raid, 40 people and they handled some tough situations very professionally. I spoke to some of the players and they felt the same way. IMHO, these guys will be taking on rags in 5-6 months (gearing up takes time). A good solid group. They however, lacked enough priests, but I'm sure they will overcome this. All went perfect until Luci fight. This is where the lack of priests would finally bite us hard. Luci came storming to the back of the cave for whatever reason (they had good tanks, just inexperienced) so instead of DPS on the protectors as my role was simply to help and advise, I tagged Luci and brought her back to the designated spot. However, for whatever reason (and this needs to be worked out) no heals were forthcoming and I can only tank her for several seconds using self heal techniques before going down. IMHO, this group has amazing potential. Kudos to Bludbeerd and Grimgor for staying cool and listening to suggestions (they are very open minded and will be a great raid leaders). They listened to suggestions of the placement of Luci, they stayed away from the imp cave, and they made sure to pull the core hounds back to where I stated. Here is a video of the 4th attempt as I had to leave and get some sleep. I would consider this a flawless victory, they remembered every step and executed it perfectly. In one fell swoop, they decided to handle it all and waste no time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6_EAm2-SJk p.s. All teasing aside, I very much enjoyed the light-heartedness of the raid, and know that this raid team will do very well in the future. Just growing pains right now, please don't give up. Big hug to all, Rel
  11. Do some cleaning first: Turn off comp, unplug it, then open the case. Gentle vacuum or use a can of air to blow the dust out and then vacuum. Pop the heat sink fan off and check the CPU's heat sink fins, make sure they aren't clogged. Clean the power supply fan (best to use a can of air here) and the CPU fan. Check system resources, CNTRL-ALT-DEL, task manager and check how many processes are running. I only have 21 running. Next step is the three R's. You don't need MSN and many other programs running, shut them down. 1st R is to retry. If it's still not working, wipe WoW and reload it. Rel

    Floored....

Nothing to worry about there, we have Might, and they have, I think Law? However, spots for MC will disappear for certain classes and in certain raids in order to squeeze them in. I just hope it's not me *weep* Rel
  13. I sent some Black Diamonds to our raid banker this morning. If you need one for the FR enchant talk to an officer in game and they will let you know how to obtain one. We also need to collect yellow and blue crystals from Ungoro. Ideally we should see everyone with at least 150 fr. Also, please update your FR on the signup page so we can try to help get the FR enchant on your head / leg slot item. Rel
  14. Also - we need rogues to farm the burning essences in BRD. 2 Rogues and a druid in stealth form can farm them quickly. It's one of the components needed for the Libram of Resilience enchant +20 FR Rel
  15. If we take down Ony early enough I would like to hit MC for trash mob farming tonight (although my feeling is that it will run too late to actually make this happen). Our objectives will be to obtain cores to make additional fire resist gear for our members (I don't need anything myself as I already have 325fr). The bonus is a chance to obtain an epic BOE item that you don't have but need. Loot rules: All cores and BOE items (that is not needed) will go to Maube in order to make new equipment and trade / sell to purchase librams of resilience. I think tonight may not be possible, however, Saturday evening around 7 p.m. EST sound good? Please post if you have interest in either day. Basically it's just a 20 man job, but additional players are welcome. Eligible players are those who are in our raids and guilds that participate with us (Sorry - I hate saying that). I cannot stress enough how important FR is for the Ragnaros fight. I want to use the gold we make to put the +20 FR enchant on legs and head pieces of all raid members (+40 FR total), as well and purchase and make additional FR gear. We are going to need this for BWL. Rel
  16. Anyone able to make the Ironvine Breastplate? I have most of the mats. Also need enchanted thorium bars (16), I bought the thorium bars but need them enchanted. Rel

    AQ20-2

With short notice I knew it would be tough. Also, many players are doing the 40man thing or taking the night off / vacations. Ironically, on Sunday I had the option to join 3 different AQ/ZG raids as most guilds don't bother posting them. I went and got the item I most wanted from AQ - Manual of Heroic Strike rank 9! I am stoked!!! =) Damage is effectively doubled and on par with Mortal Strike. I've been reading alot about Heroic Strike and Mortal Strike. Some raiding guilds disallow Mortal Strike completely other than healing encounters such as the Sulfuron encounter. However, other guilds permit it's use on all mobs other than bosses (good read at Bloodmoon Chosen forum). Non-boss mobs die within 1 minute so this makes curse of doom completely ineffective. I have seen all too many times that 1 more dot would have killed a boss at 1% health, only to not be there due to a mortal strike taking it's place. Something to think about anyways. My opinion is to permit Mortal Strike on all trash mobs except on boss fights where it is not necessary. Arms specced warriors can use the Mortal Strike until at least they get the heroic strike 9, which uses only 10 rage (specced accordingly) instead of the 30 that mortal strike uses. One final consideration is the damage that warlock dots do is not just 3200 points, there is also the caster damage modifiers that haven't been factored in (i.e. equipment that modifies the spell damage). Rel
  20. Confirmed. I have actually never applied one myself. Friends had applied them for me. You give 10 yellow and 10 blue crystals to the owner with the burning essence. You can farm the crystals from Ungoro Crater area or you can buy the colored crystals from the AH for chump change. Owner takes the crystals and flys to ungoro to transmute them at the crystal spire located high up on the eastern edge of the hills. Owner will get enough transmuted bind on pickup crystals to finish the quest. Give owner 30gold, 1 black diamond, and the libram of resilience. Both of you can head to thorium point and there is a npc there who will accept them and give the owner the enchanting item. The +20fr is applied by trading in the do not trade window (same as enchanter). Rel

    Molten Core

Dreamfoil is the difficult item to obtain. It is the most expensive herb regeant on the AH after Black Lotus, typically selling for 20 gold for 20 (1g per). The Gold Farmers scan the auction house heavily, determining where to put their resources and what to farm. Right now, they have focused on mining, as we see a huge abundance of arcane crystals and prices are dropping. I find that felwood and the plaguelands to be the best place to farm dreamfoil. You can obtain dreamfoil in other places such as Silithus (but the spiders agro easy and root you with a web) and a few other places that I find have presented poor results. I snagged 20 dreamfoil off the AH for 11g last night, so that is considered a bargain and I made an additional 20 more potions and sent them off to the cheiftess. If anyone wants to send the dreamfoil my way, I'll be happy to make the potions and forward them. I can also transmute Heart of Fire. 1 Heart of Fire transmutes into three fire element. Rel

  23. Bumping this. Good read. We are going to have to lay into some heavy DPS and try and get Rag down to 40% on phase 1 within 3 minutes before the 8 sons spawn. Suggestion: Greenbull or Alhazad wait for Rag, hunters should have traps up in the south to meet the rushing sons who will head there. Each warrior will grab a son and tank it there. Mages frost nova. No fear is to be used, we can banish as many as we need, so long as one is not banished as Rag considers a banished one as dead. We've got to kill them within 1.5 minutes as Ragnaros will appear again. All mana users stay to the SW or SE and AOE while tanks keep them occupied. Rel

    85 Gold

Someone lent me 85 gold to buy a fire resist trinket. I am sure it was either odenn or gordo and they LYIN to meh! They both in cahoots with each other and not taking the money. Damn my memory, I cannot remember who it was, but I am sure it was one of those two hooligans. They thinkin that because I bought it for the raid that I don't have to pay it back. I usually have the money but that trinket cost 200g. Whoever lent me the 85 gold can claim it from amule, just send an email to amule to claim the gold. Claimer must be a clan skullcrusher level 60, I remember the culprit being a troll, possibly a dirty hunter (never can trust a hunter anyways) Rel
  25. Let'snot draw lines. No need to imho. We all understand the ramifications of using mods and what they can and cannot do. However, there are neat work arounds that fall within the parameters of not using CT_Raid. For instance, DPS warriors can make hotkeys directly from the macro table, such as a button /assist greenbull or /assist alhazad. In this way, you can punch that button and then charge his target. One problem I noticed is on the core hounds. Without CT raid, you are unable to determine which one is #3. When Maube calls out "Off on 3!" and frantically repeats it because its taking too much damage, then DPS players will need to find a way to switch off that target and onto the one that needs more damage. I thought of a solution; Players have 5 macros ready prior to the raid. Each one labelled /assist tank#1 , /assist tank#2 etc. Then have the macro edit window open when entering the core hound room, you can quickly assign the names when Maube is calling out the order. Then you will know which one is 1, 2, 3 etc. If Maube maintains the same order after Lucifron dies, then it should be no problem. Priests can do the same thing, set up macro buttons and cast (I do this with my priest). The one thing I love about CT_raid is that you can see the health of multiple mobs simultaneously so you can take quick action to switch to the one that needs more or switch off the one you are on before anything is said. However, your decision to use it or not is up to you, and I have always cherished the disenting opinion as it is what freedom is about. Essentially, the purpose of CT_Raid is that it permits players to progress through an instance at a more rapid pace.
