  1. I have 4 primal nethers on Kargoch and he can craft all of the epic resist plate (NR and FR). Who do we send the non soulbound mats to?
  2. Woot, thank you all! I guess I'll need to farm up some spare shineys after finishing buying Kargoch's epic flyer in order to help contribute for the 5th tab.
  3. Thanks Waldonnis. (unless it was Verissi who did it, or adranna, or... or *head explodes*) Due to the holidays, I will put this on hold until the second week of the new year. I hope everyone has a happy holidays . ****Edit**** I have the signups posted.
  4. Well, last night's Heroic tuesday wasn't as much of a success as I would have liked it to be, but realise that it is holiday/exam time. I would like to thank Guilozak for showing up promptly, and for Ronstin for going with us. We had Illeria and Zebgor join us (Thank you both) but unfortunately we set our goals a little too high (heroic Arcatraz). I will keep Heroic tuesdays informal until january.
  5. That says it all.... But it was entertaining.
  6. ok, looks like there is enough interest. As for signups, we will skip that this week (I still don't have the priviledges yet) and play it by year. I'll be online tuesday night, on Kargoch, so when the time comes and you are interested, message me and we will form a raid group and decide what the groups will be and which instances we will clomp. Just to remind people, there are no requirements in terms of gear/spec, all that is required is to be honored with whichever faction the instance is. The point of this is fun, and new experiences.
  7. Hi, Looks like the author has been chosen to finish of the late Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. http://www.dragonmount.com/News/?p=326 http://www.dragonmount.com/Books/Memory_of...nterview_01.php I can't wait to read it... but it won't quite be the same.
  8. Hi, I've noticed recently that we have a bunch of new peons in camp, as well as a bunch of old faces coming back into the fold, and thought that I would start an activity to get us all working together as well as getting to know each other. I would like to start a semi-organised grouping for heroic instances that is inclusive to everyone. I would like to start signup's on the raid signup page for this, just to ensure that we have the numbers and enough life givers/life takers/protectors (Heals/DPS/tanks) as well as to make sure that clanmates team up with someone different. With enough signup's we can have multiple groupings each week and mix them up to have a great time with new experiences. Role playing will be encouraged, but not enforced, and clearing the instance should not be the ultimate goal - Having fun will be. Also any friends outside of the guild will be welcome to join us. I'm thinking an 8:30 pm start time, and of course it will go until the instance is done. Kailand P.S. If anybody who reads this has the power to give me priviledges to start up a raid on the signup page please let me know.
  9. I see what is happening now, the ninja's are voting for the pirates so that they can stay low-key.

  11. (here is a copy of what I posted at www.qualityguild.net/forums ) Hi, I have put a lot of time and thought into this, but I'm sorry to say that I will have to cancel this raid due to the recent lack of signups/cancelled signups/noshows that this raid has seen since the first weeks. I believe that with having to find 5+ replacements each weeks we cannot progress in the content let alone learn it. Additionally it is unfair to the people who have signed up and showed up to have to spend hard earned gold/time for repairs, reagents, and other consummables. Raiding, in or out of a 'hardcore raiding' guild requires consistency and team work, and of course without that progression will be slowed down. In order to have consistency, people need to commit to the raid, as well communicate thier ability to show up/not show up for a particular night. This is what the sign up sheets are for, and I applaud the people who have continued to sign up and even those that signed up as N/A due to real life situations, it makes the raid better as a whole. A raid leaders job should be recruitment, planning, and organisation, and a raiders job should be commitment and communicating their intentions to the raid leader or assigned lieutenant. It should NOT be the raid leaders responsibility to pester people to sign up, or to check to make sure people that haven't signed up go and sign up - that is the raider's responsibility. The raid leader should be responsible for ensuring that lines of communication are open, and in hindsight I could have done better. I believe that kierthan and I recruited a great core of skilled players from our personal contacts, and could have progressed well if the group had stayed static. Perhaps we should have used a wider recruitment net, and I'll have to shoulder some of the blame for that. As for organisation and planning, it was starting to come together (our newbness in raid organising showed for the first two weeks, and I'd like to apolagise for that). I was quite happy with what we did with our 3 weeks in SSC, and with consistency I'm sure we would have had lurker on farm soon, and perhaps Hydross too. As for those who were unhappy at the rate of progression, most groups going to SSC go at least twice a week for 4-5 hours a time. we were doing 3 hours per session once a week, and progressing quite rapidly. For 9 hours in there I say we were at the same progression point as a group who is in there more often, and congratulations to you all, you deserve it. I had a quite a few people ask me if we could go 2 nights a week. I know most of our schedules were packed with Karazhan/Z-A/Real-Life, and I believe that one night a week should have been sufficient to eventually get 3 bosses down, after which I would have considered starting a second night. Additionally, in my opinion, spending more time wiping on a boss doesn't necessarily lead to getting the boss down quicker, as people will eventually just get burned out and frustrated. In the new year I will attempt to start a new SSC raid based around what I learned from this one, and if all you raiders are still interested, available, and can commit consistently, then I will encourage you to signup. All the raid points of course will be reset to encourage other recruits to join. When I get the mats stored from kierthan, I will distribute the unused mats back to the appropriate person who donated them (let me know if it does or doesn't matter if you receive them back, as some of them have been used to make the resist gear). I would like to thank the people who donated the materials, as well as the time required to get them. I would also like any critism (constructive if possible), as well as comments from the members of the raid as to what you liked/disliked about this raid, as well as if you would like to participate in the new one I may start in January (probably around the 3rd week). Yours truly Kailand

  13. Vol be smurt... der be a reason he be chief, Ninja's RULE!
  14. Volnazra just let me know that www.laughingdevil.com/raid no longer works, as we have let people know during the raid, the new URL is www.qualityguild.net/raid. Sorry for the confusion and problems this has caused.
  15. From what I understand of Paladin tanks, they require much more block rating since they do not have the same level of built in crushing blow avoidance that warriors have, nor the armor and HP that a druid tank has, but otherwise they should be stacking similar stats as what a prot warrior would (def to 490 to avoid being crit, stam for HP pool). And the reason paladin tanks need to be hit to generate threat, is because unless they are taking damage, they don't get heals, and hence they run out of mana. Another difference between Paly tanks an warrior tanks I've found is that paly tanks (or at least the good ones) take a mage/warlock weapon as thier primary tanking weapon and an elemental shammy shield as thier tanking shield, as well as mixing in some spldmg/int plate. As for my current Arms/prot build (35 arms/5 fury/21 prot), my threat rotation is bloodrage at the start, open with a heroic strike, revenge when it is up, mortal strike when it is up and I have the rage, and sunder for the rest of the time. If I have plenty of rage, I will toss in heroic strikes. Depending on the fight I may Thunderclap and demo shout.
  16. The best enchants for hunters are the +15 agi to gloves which is now a rep reward enchant (exalted with Keepers of time I believe), +20 agi to onehanded weapons which is from violet eye at exalted, there is +35 agi to 2-h weapon which is a drop from I believe Arcatraz, +12 agi to boots which drops in crypts, the cobrahide leg kits (+40 AP, +10 crit) and the nethercobra leg kits (+50 AP, +12 crit) made by leatherworkers, +24 AP to wrists which is trainable, Exceptional stats to chest (+6 to all stats) which requires revered to thrallmar, +12 agi to cloak which is trainable, the scryer/aldor shoulder enchant, the glyph of ferocity from cenarion expidition at revered, and finally either the Khorium Scope (+12 damage), or the Stabalized eternium scope (+28 crit).

    Greetins!

Welcome Zebgora.... i think its rigmarole.... but you will have to find a pair of thick goblin lenses for our venerable elders so that they can read this
  22. I use sorrentimers... a must for a hunter, and extremely useful for a warrior. The only part of CTMOD that I still use is the buff bars, I just haven't come across a better mod that is as simple as CT_buff for that. I use oRA for my raid windows (compatible with CT_RAID but with a few nifty improvements), and deadlyboss mods for boss timers. Quartz is nice for cast bars, as you can move them about your screen: it's great for timing a shield bash/pummel/stance dance for a warrior, and for timing your shots as a hunter. For UI mods, I currently use aUF, bartender, squeenix, and fubar with a variety of addons related to them. I also use cartographer. Finally my favourite set of addons (yes, I'm a lootwhore) is atlas with atlas loot. I also use several other mods from wowace.

    Burnt out!

I totally agree with you there. By the way , inquiring minds want to know what are the stats of this 'Battle Bow of Might' and where does drops from, and if anybody wants to join me in a group to get it .
