  1. Have a good time. Tell your sis hello and congrats for me.
  2. Hmm, yes interesting, numbers..formulas...critical analysis. oh no, no no no ARRGH **head kersplode** Speaking as a shaman (sometimes), the "math" should be taken with a grain of salt. If raw dps is the only thing you want from a totem the math is plain and hard to refute (given its valid and all). WF would seems to be the totem of choice based on no other knowlege or understanding. However, what the math doesnt tell you is that the actual (hands on) mechanics are much more complicated than that. When you consider all the spell buffs, auras, potions, foods, etcetc the math gets way too overwhelming. It comes down to knowing what is going on in your group and using the totem that best suits the team. I think shamans are widely misunderstood, poorly played, and discounted as a good party class (another thread entirely). When, in fact, its my opinion that they are the high on the list of most group friendly class. When playing as a shaman, I dont consider just dps for my totem usage. Instead, I place totems that would greater benefit the group. For example: GoA/WF will certainly help dps, but if the tank is a druid already struggling keeping aggro, WF is not the right totem to use. Some random notes from experience: The way overlooked Flametongue totem can be increased by talents and is also increased by +damage gear and "trinket pushing". Weapon speed is WAY important for burst damage, and therefore, usefull in a pvp situtation. <--see?
  3. Pushing my warrior to level, but I doubt he will make it within your time frame. Also, have the warlock and shaman(still resto) if you need filler.
  4. Hey old buddy, if you see any of the below characters online, hit me up for some raptor wrangling. We also could catch some deviate fish for the next pirate vs. ninja brujahah. (I think some of out newest peons might like to meet the Leaders of the Fang also)
  5. maybe we should start a thread about who can make what?
  6. Its back and updated. WoW Loot
  7. Perhaps you can get a hold of some of our members on forums, on teamspeak, or PM. We have many compu-wiz kids that might be able to help. They will need to know what specs your computer has and what programs you run behind WoW, etc. Im far from a wiz, but Ive had my share of problems and learn abit with each obstacle. So here is my stab in the dark.... Attempt to run something else that is very memory and 3D intesive. Whatever 3D games you might have. If this happens consistently due to the load on your system its likely 1. Vid card, or 2. Ram. Id gamble on the Vid card having a fit. After this patch I also have graphic anomalies. (looks like lightning flashes in the distance as the terrain is being drawn) Im guessing there are also others with this issue. Have you read around the official Tech support forums? Great thing about 10million other players is that its likely to be a problem for at least a few other people and have gotten some response. Good Luck.

  14. Let us just take a deep breath and look at what is going on. There is no raid stealing going on. There is no need to cancel plans. There are (and will always be) differing availability, goals and demands for everyone. We can, and will, work around everyone's needs and wants. But to do that we must be patient, tolerant, and understanding of each other. Let us remain mature, humble, and willing to compromise so everyone benefits.
  15. Volnazra (resto shaman) has been cleared for raiding tonight if you want him.
  16. Gazing across the fire, the old orc listens to the tales of the visitors. His heart is moved by the tales of loss and justice claimed. Volnazra motions to peons and hurries them off to fetch more wood, and refreshment. Vol says: "Latz hab tales ub hardship agh woe. We Crushaz gruk dat life heavy wid burden agh struggle. Vol rely on da clan agh frenz dat git him tru da dark timez." Roasted pig and dark ale is set before the guests. Logs are stacked upon the fire. Volnazra rubs his belly and says:"Let uz grub agh drink. Den wez heer talez ub beddah dayz."

  18. I think it went well. We had 25-30 people participate. Rajuul, Thundertotem, and myself held a gathering to discuss the "Earthen League" which we are leading(farseers) and developing a storyline about. We gathered to share ancestral wisdom, offer aide against our enemies, and call others to join in unity in the struggle. Uncannily, tensions flared (often distractingly so) amongst racial lines. Mostly acted in character, but we werent able to get to the point as we often needed to stop to keep order and civility.. In the end, many forsaken friends left angrily. However, in my humble opinion, ANY gathering in the spirit of immersion and RP is a success in and of itself. After the gathering we banded together to defend Silvermoon against its invaders and then made a successful strike upon Halaa. The Earthen Ring is provides a wide open field to stretch the imagination as there is little known about it nor written in stone. However, those that have traveled in Nagrand have met them and likely helped them with many tasks. There will be more to come.
  19. Tonight we gather in Thunderbluff at 8pm server time.
  20. Just to reiterate. The statement: "We are not a raiding guild." is not synonymous with the statement:"We dont want to raid." The spirit of CS is such that personal freedoms are held above guild raid progress. The spirit of CS is such that no demands are put upon members and everything is voluntary. The spirit of CS is to enjoy the game not blow threw all the content as fast as possible and slap epeens in the face of lesser guilds. We will first and foremost be a group of friends. We shall raid. We shall have fun doing it. We shall take pride in our accomplishments and cheer others for theirs. This is Skullcrusher Law. @Vendes, keep pushing my friend. Dont give up yet. Your raid will happen. Put up a sign up, and make an attempt with who shows up. Leaders must wade through alot of muck to find one ounce of gold. People can be reluctant. Plans for this and that are dime a dozen. YOU must be persistent and people will soon come to you, and see your effort, and follow you. If you do this, keep in mind, one day you will be turning people away. Ask Maube. @Everyone else, CS is a guild of the people. If anyone has an idea, anyone is given all the autonomy you want in order to make it happen. If you give the leaders your ideas, we will work on them too. Constructive criticism is always welcome. Spare everyone the drama, do not keep your wants quiet, or secretly complain and do nothing about it yourself. The current leadership team is motivated to helping everyone have more fun and more opportunity. However, the onus lies with EVERYONE else to take steps each time you play to make the game interesting and entertaining.
  21. If you dont already know, there is a small community developing to promote role playing on Argent Dawn. You can go to www.AD-RP.com to meet everyone and also join the in-game channel LFRP. This sunday, the several people will be gathering to create a storyline about the Earthen Ring. Check out more details HERE. I will be involved, time allowed, and hope some of you are interested too.
