Hey everyone, we tried this in our family a few years ago, it ended in a horrible display of anger and fist fights broke out . . . wait, that was all in my head cause someone picked the gift I had and it was booze. Very cool idea and should work for everyone that shows up!! Snowball fights and the occasional flagged alliance should make for good fun! I hope for everyone to be a part of it.

In game I'm grateful for all the times I get interrupted mining to go play with my friends. I'm very thankful for all greetings and whispers I get when logging in or just hanging about. I hope that all of you have a great holiday season and wish everyone a happy new year!! :bunny:

Yes I have written, it isn't finished, but I can do this in parts and it reads like a book . . . Dah moo. . . Born in Red Cloud Mesa to a family of farmers. Smedlock was very content with his peaceful life. Making his routine trips to the well and talking with Greatmother Hawkwind. She spoke of tormoil in lands far from where I gew up and I did not worry about it. I had never experienced the violence of anything. Once a month we would gather at the great Kodo Rock and go on a hunt for food. My father was one of the members and I would sit and watch. When my father would go, I would wonder around playing with friends and listening to the elders of the camp. My favorite was Harutt Thunderhorn, he had such exciting stories of lands beyond the barrens, where my father hunted. He spoke of several great caves in the barrens that helped make him strong. He wanted to teach these ways, but my parents wouldn't hear of it. But, I was learning from him non the less. He would send me off to do tasks that other members of the tribe needed done and I would go. One day while trying to find out what the Gnolls where up too in Brambleblade Ravine. I hear screams and yells coming from the village. I ran back as fast as I could. When getting there, all I saw was smoldering tents and Harutt was there with a long face. He grabbed me as soon as he saw me. “sit boy!” he said, “we have been attacked by night elves”. I tried to get up to see where my family was and he held me down. “Listen boy!!” he continued, “do not look, they are not there”. I began to well up with tears as he told me “this is where you become a man and learn how to defend yourself” Harutt stood and told me “you know of the ways of the Tauren and it's time for you to know of the world”, Harutt handed me a bag and told me to take it to Krang Stonehoof in Bloodhoof Village. He said “Be strong Smedlock, find your parents and defend your lands from these horrible beings”. Being of what I thought the grand age of 6 I felt that this first trip by myself would be fairly simple. As I left the saftey of the mesa, I could see that things where going to be tough. So I put on a deteminded face and did what anyone in my place would do. Run like the wind and don't stop till I made it to Bloodhoof. It wasn't long before I could see Stonebull Lake and the village. I met with Krang, he said “well done! Now since you look defenseless you will need to be trained”. I sighed and looked around at the other trainees moving about and began my training.

To late But I got all my xmas shopping done in one place this year!! psst. . . by the way, your all getting in game gold this year . . . I'm totally just kidding, I'm sure that Vrugz has seen it and will deal with it.

OooOoh, Dabu!! Time for a rewrite!! I started this several years ago, lost the file since then. Been trying to remember all of what I put into it. Fixing a few areas of bland and backing off on a few over done areas.

Tomorrow night is the events!! I need help!! Needed are 2 judges for the costume contest! Drinks need help also, if you have kegs or can help with the cost of beverages that would be a great help. Hail!! You are Invited to an event that will be fun for all!! Where: The graveyard just to the west of Brill When: Friday, October 30th starting at 6:00 p.m. Server time. Ending when everyone has had enough fun. Who: This includes anyone that wishes to come of any level Events Include: 1. *Contest* Scavenger hunt that will encompass the classic realms to include everyone. 2. *Contest* Hollows Eve costume event 3. PvP haunting of alliance outposts ******************** We will start with the Scavenger hunt by handing out lists of items to attain. You are encouraged to actually farm these yourself and not buy them on the auction house. We will have people watching to note progress and for assistance when needed. The costume event will start once we have gotten things rolling, most likely around 7:00 p.m. server time. Depending on the number of people wanting to compete this will continue until everyone that has signed up has competed. You only need to have a theme/name of the costume and you will be given 2 min to "sell" yourself to the judges. Once the contest events have come to their conclusion. We will begin to invites to a raid that is like no other "mob" style raids. This is where even if your not a PvP fan you will have fun. Whats more fun that a bunch of drunkin horde running about the country side tearing up Alliance towns. Last time I think we ended up in Theramore after ravaging South Shore and Minithil Harbor. ******************** Prizes will be given out for the top three of each of the two *contest* events. This is intended as a "in character" event. So polish up on your characters language and storyline. Free drinks and food for all!! To compete in either of the two contests please send an In-game mail to Smedlock of your intent and what contest(s) you would like to attend. This is something that I failed to do the last time I attempted this. This will help to know how many people will be in each event. Plus no awkward silent moments to see if anyone else is stepping up to compete. In addition if you don't wish to compete but want to help in some way I always could use the help with: 1. Judges for the costume contest (the more the merrier) 2. Morale support (because I'm unstable enough as it is) If you have questions with this event please contact any elder of the Clan Skullcrusher and they will either directly help or get you in touch with someone that can. I am not normally logged into Smedlock but will check his mail every day. The Clan Elders will help with finding me online if I'm needed for direct questions about this event. We did this 2 years ago and I was told that it was a great smash, we where fairly busy in keeping things rolling. This is an event to come involve yourself and have fun!! Get out!! Have fun!!
