  1. Half of that did come in 2.3. Those turn-ins were boosted to 150, Cenarion turn-ins were changed to 250, some other turn-ins were also increased.
  2. I thought Ronstin sent Kthylus a Lay on Hands glyph on Tuesday while he was power-leveling.
  3. Bar, I would be delighted to buy the Mantle of Nimble Thought pattern for Ronstin, and 4 hearts of darkness. 2 for him, 2 for the pattern Greenspring already knows.
  4. "Human"? High elf, thankyouverymuch I sure hope nobody bought her high elf disguise, though...she's friggin huge compared to other high elves. There's no way that she could have lifters that high in those boots. Now if they'd only make Krasus look less dorky. You'd think with his status, he'd at least look like less of an embarrassment. Oh, and I will say this much about Alexstrasza in her natural form...they really did her justice, both in size and "spectacle". I love the classic fantasy art from 30 years ago look. Nothing like chain or plate bikinis and thongs that serve absolutely no useful function whatsoever.

I'll repeat what those two ninnies said. You were all impressive *except for Bralor. Epic repair bill for him* I knew we'd be able to handle Morogrim fairly easily but I never expected to two-shot a close coordination fight like Karathress. Great job. Let's make it even better next time we end up doing it though. And the only step for doing that which I'm responsible for is healing! So give me some feedback. Healers, I need to know how hard your jobs were and how you were spending your time. What gave you trouble, and what was far easier than expected? Did you ever feel like you were healing too many people, or like you didn't have enough to do? Did you ever feel like your class or spec's particular talents were being misapplied? Tanks, I would also appreciate some feedback from you guys on the fight. All I know right now is that the Fathom-lord's spitfire totem is a hell of a lot harder to avoid than Tidalvess' and Bralor and I were having issues. Which is unfortunate because I think he and I are the two best runners in the healing team.
  6. I still consider Scryll my main, even if everyone insists they only want my healer * Maube and Kailand* and that will continue in the expansion. He may well switch to Mutilate but he's still going to be focused on PvE. After I level him up I'll be alternating between my priest, druid, and warlock. Unless one of them really impresses me they'll probably hit 80 within several weeks of each other. Greenspring will probably go back to feral and will emphasize tanking, my priest will probably turn to a healing spec, and Ronstin will continue to curse everything in sight. He'll be staying affliction since Dark Pact is his one true love. That'll give me melee dps, ranged dps, a healer, and a tank. I'll be able to provide something for everyone. Scryll would probably also continue to be my main PvPer but since I have no interest in Arena that probably won't mean much.
  7. What? NO! They can take my honor but not my precious tokens! They don't realize how long I've had those stacks. They have become a comfort to me.
  8. I have no idea what's wrong with their design team. Taking two other groups racials *gnomes Escape Artist and Forsaken's Will of the Forsaken* combining them, and then adding a counterbalancing shared cooldown, is bad design. That sort of move can work with class abilities because there are so damned many of them and they have to do similar things, but there are only 40 or so racial abilities and most of those are passives, not activated abilities. They've got room to work with.
  9. It hasn't gone gold yet. That date is not final.

Sorry ain't cutting it. You're both on my trouble-makers list. Do you have ANY idea how many gray hairs I generated when Maube told me that you two wouldn't be able to make it?

Yeah, great job guys. Survival on Leo was massively better this time. Whirlwinds on everyone *besides Ascoli of course* were down by at least 2/3rds, and the only people who had trouble with their demons were Decrep and Gwen, who hadn't done the fight before. Even Nathaniel the Frequently-Hit only ate 5 whirlwinds.
  12. He clarified later in the thread, it's not a typo. Night Elves have 3 percent, and Forsaken have only 1%, because of their other racials. I'm meh about most of the changes, but that human one just has me shaking my head. I don't think a combat-break ability has any place as a racial. Humans would/will be the kings of PvE, they get that wonderful rep boost and now they get to cheat death and rezzing.

Useful suggestions were provided with the criticism. I covered how to stay alive when you're killed a demon, and everyone should know how to kill their demon from reading up on the fight beforehand *everyone DID read up on the fight beforehand, right?* Waldonnis also mentioned how a priest should and should not be dpsing their demon in the post right above mine. I covered how to keep from getting 10+ whirlwinds as well. Use the 40-yard range every healer but Kleenk has, and don't sit still and let Leo come to you while whirlwinding. RUN! It really is that simple for that phase. What do you think should have been provided that I've neglected, Perthes? I've said where to stand, "near other healers." There were some other instructions in the healer channel during the last fights which most of the healers did not follow. Since the elven phase of the fight involves lots of moving around, being more specific doesn't help because the relative clumps will have moved around. The WoWwiki entry on Leo has an excellent section on how various non-DPS classes should be killing their demon. I suggest it be read again if people have forgotten what it says. I and Waldy have already repeated everything in there *aside from the use of PW:S which is obvious and which all the priests have already been using* for priests anyway. Be topped off before the demons spawn. Have a HoT ticking on you. Use PW:S. Smite. Smite again. Keep smiting until it dies. Do not use shadow spells. Do not throw lots of heals on yourself, let other healers in range of you do that *and make certain you're in range of them* Priests should actually be killing their demon faster than several of the DPS classes.

Healers: Everyone on here has been saying you did a wonderful job. Maube whispered me today and told me how happy she was with your guys' performance yesterday. They're wrong. Your output is high but your survivability stinks. Some of you were just sitting still and letting lots of whirlwinds hit you. There is absolutely no reason for that. Ascoli isn't taking as much damage while Leo is whirlwinding, there is no reason for you to stand like a rock right next to Leo rather than running. Kleenk is the only healer I expect to have any trouble on this phase, and some of you are eating twice as many or more whirlwinds as he is. For demon phase: As has been noted, some of you are having problems staying up and dpsing down your demon. None of you should have any problems dpsing it down. You've all got more than enough spell-damage in your healing gear to manage it, considering their vulnerability to holy. Make certain you're topped off before the demons spawn and with a HoT ticking if possible, don't park in some odd corner where no un-demoned healer can reach you, and you'll be fine. That last point is useful for everyone. During the demon phase, stay near your healers. The warlock tank is usually taking 6-8k damage a spell-cast by that point and needs a hellacious amount of healing, it is very hard for us to wander around and find you. I'm really the only one that can walk around freely at all and I probably can't get to all five of you, particularly not when walking wide around the AoE blast from the demon's Chaos Bolt. I really, really hate it when I die because I wandered into it while trying to save your distant butt. Melee are the only ones who shouldn't be checking if they're in range of healers during the Demon phase.
  15. I'm kinda sad that they've already moved back on their nerf to Cloak. It was 2 minutes in the beginning, and it never should have been buffed to 1 minute, IMO. They should have kept the 2 minute nerf and the ability to spec it back to 1 minute. As for Relentless Strikes. They said they were going to make it more accessible. I suppose it IS more accessible now. Technically. In a way no one but ShS PvPers would like. I guess Subtlety was the only tree without an energy-return talent and they wanted to change that. Too bad they couldn't have switched out Focused Attacks instead. It'll make it easier for all the people who insisted they couldn't live without a 1-minute Cloak to spec deeply enough into subtlety to get Elusiveness. Ditto with the Serrated Blades change. If I stay combat rather than switching to a mutilate build, I can easily see using something like 5/51/15, only taking Malice from Ass. I'll miss how Ruthlessness and RS work together though. I'm curious about Disarm Trap though. When did they change it so it DIDN'T require stealth? I remember not being able to do jack to those traps the engineers in Blood Furnace put down except when stealthed.
  16. And it spreads out the crazy bugs from all kinds of systems, configurations, connections, etc. that you get in large updates of code for 2 million+ users. 's a good thing.
  17. Umm, Gordy? The poll that's supposed to "say it all"? It didn't make it into the thread.
  18. You think this is funny, do you? The crowd sure thought it was funny. But let me tell you, it's not funny. It is 100% truth. I'm a cellist and I can swear to you, that is exactly what that stupid canon is like, and it stalks us everywhere! Not even sleep offers surcease because we all fell asleep playing that damn song and so it follows us into our dreams.
  19. Wait, how did I become the blame monkey? Damnit, that's Odenn's job, not mine.
  20. Who is this person? They're not on the guild list that I can see, and it looks like they're in a one-account guild from the Blizzard Armory.
  21. While I CAN do Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday, the current Sunday time is the one I like the most.
  22. The link was in there, Xiris, it can just be hard to pick out links on these boards. Here. That's a repost of the link Gordy had in the roster for you.
  23. Guild bank access should be possible, but I was under the impression that it's part of Blizzard's guild UI code that ranks with promotion authority can only promote people up to one rank below the promoter's rank. The only exception is for the Guild Leader rank, which isn't handled as a promotion at all.

    Epic Raids!

Strange, it just played with no problem for me.
