Woah, wasn't expecting that kind of response from just a sig. *grins* Dabu! Anycase, I mentioned how I made it in the thread Maube started. Overall it wasn't that hard to do.

*blushes* Dabu! So, how I made my sig. For the two sides of the background, I watched the cinematic trailer we all have at the start of WoW (you can get to it from the log in screen, there's a button on the right). Those two scenes are screenshots from Ironforge (with a lot of tweaking) and from Mulgore (and if I move Sunny, you'd still see the big tauren's hand ). I took two more screenshots of Sunny and Rae in their dress best from in the game, and then removed them from the normal WoW background and inserted them over the new background. Just add a few fonts and tadaa! (Just a few hints of making it: have patience to get the right shot, and if you've got directional lighting (like the sun in Sunny's background) try to get your toon to pose with that same lighting effect, it makes it blend much better. Rae didn't have to worry, snow reflects light from all around).

"I remember back in my day, we had to raid that firey pit with nuthin less than forty soldiers! And it was all uphill too! In the snow!" "In the snow, Fomor? It was called the Molten Core for a reason." "Hmph. Yeah, but, it wasn't with any of these fancy gizmos now! I only had a crotchety old computer that I had to crank start every morning!" Raeda sighs and nods. "Oh yes, I remember well. I was stuck on dialup.":: ::Raeda tosses in her sleep, rolling over and snuggling deeper into her furs with a 'hmph'.::

Well, I've heard rumors that there's feral loot to be had in Dire Maul, and I need to get Sunny keyed as well, so feel free to nudge me if you start a run.

I think less healers this time was our big problem. Both times I've helped take down Golemagg sucessfully, we've had three healers on each of the dog tanks. Perhaps we can use just two healers, but I think it would have to be healers stronger than a shaman to manage that. I remember the time before I had a druid that was watching over my little team and throwing innervate when he could on me. That boost of mana really helped. This time the druid in my group had to concentrate on more than just our team, and with as hard as those dogs bite, that gave the dog the little edge he needed to eat poor Smeddie. *sniffs* And then his doggie pal came over and ate me.

Just a heads up, but as I was wading through the Shaman forums, I noticed that Eyonix said that a further Shaman review is coming in 1.12, so it looks like this review may just be a rush patch job. Almost wish they wouldn't have bothered really.

Hi Cwn! I understand your dislike of third party programs. I tend to only use ctraid myself, and only the bare minimum of that suite as well, just to get by with raids. I don't like too much deviation from the Blizzard setup, and I've been afraid of getting any bad viruses or just bad code on my machine, in addition to my worry about any extra bandwidth being taken up (I'm on dial up typically - it sucks). But even with that, I *do* recommend using ctraid. I've done a couple of runs of MC without it, and it does give a bit of help to the raid. You can easily get by in everything from UBRS on down without it and never miss it, but it helps for the 20 and 40 man instances with the mt setup (cause trying to find the correct target otherwise sucks - bad) and getting 'you are about to die' messages. I've got aditional reasons for using it, but those are healer/shammy related. I've never had a problem with the ctraid software, and this is on a standard Windows XP install *and* for my Mac OSX install. The coders seem to know what they're doing.

I don't see any patch notes, and from what I've been reading on the WoW forums, the PTR is still up, which is usually brought down before a patch... so no patch today? Makes me glad since the background downloader hasn't worked for me anyway

Oh noes! That's horrible! I'm glad you got out safe, even though so much of your stuff got wiped. If you need help moving stuff around, I might be able to lend a hand for that. Anycase, hugs!

*blushes* Dabu! I'm obviously not as... um, outgoing... as some of the other girls in the Covenant, but I figured the Crushers needed some representation too! And you're right, Scryll, Meadow is adorable acting all shy while wearing her banana shoulders. Did she kill a pally to get those?

So your toes are getting a bit singed from the lava? Here's some gear that might help you out a bit in the Core! Leathers Lava Belt - It's shiney! It's purple! It also requires 5 lava cores to make! But when you do... 223 armor +15 stamina +26 fire resistance Mail Black Dragonscale - There's four pieces in this set. Three are easy to make. One of those three has a nearly impossible to find pattern. The fourth piece - the boots - requires 4 fiery cores and 3 lava cores in all its purple shiney glory. Of course, tonnes of scales and a few enchanted leathers are required for all. Set Bonuses 2 items - +1% chance to hit 3 items - +2% chance to crit 4 items - +10 fire resistance Breastplate 334 armor +8 stamina +12 fire resistance equip: +50 attack power Shoulders 266 armor +9 stamina +6 fire resistance equip: +40 attack power Leggings (I don't have this pattern yet.
