Now I will repay Charlie for her reply to the story of Thorax... I know some of the secrets of purist!!!! Not a word about Thorax...

First things first, great to have more and more members so hopefully the hunts will be more regular!! I wish I could play all those hours, but when time and day are set, I could navigate my time towards it. The times are not etched in stone so I may be able to stray a bit. The 'until' times are for 'hunt end, profits locked and ready to logout'. Fridays 9am until 7pm Saturdays 3am until 7pm (meeting) Other days 12pm until 5pm Good luck setting a time!

Here is a link to the New Proficiency System. I have already heard some reactions, most to the downsides of it, especially considering roleplaying. I try and be optimistic. When Star Wars Galaxies had their somewhat recent comprehensive change, I immediately saw the forums of ITC get a heart attack and die (I.T.C. is the S.W.G. guild on T.H.E. ) It was a complete change, unlike what is planned for UO. And, as I said, I try and be optimistic. Of course, additions like those should have restrictions or minuses for balance, and I hope this was well thought of. Furthermore, I also hope that when the battling system changes, it will not encourage people to leave (As most roleplay interaction is not on the battlefield) and not only that... If the battle system will bring more people to UO, some will be probably potential roleplayers. So, what do you think about it? And I just remembered: One of the coming changes is a new targeting system. Hope it is a good one! For one I will stop attacking Kodoz (by mistake!!!), and second, I will stop getting my parrying gains when Charlie attacks me!

Speaking about Members' Entrance and Roster, someone should kick Piper and Uthan, so they will know their place! Kick them to the Senatorial area of the roster I'm all alone there *cries*

For the first, yes For the second, the due time is about june 10th and all is going well! We already did all recommended tests, including (our, of course) DNA, Nuchal Translucency (Ultrasound), Preliminary full scan (by Ultrasound), Late full scan (Ultrasound), weight approximation and a few more... many many tests all results are relative to the average risk and the worst test was 4 times better than the average, so we are happy Also weight gain is not exceeding the recommended normal. As I see it, we are on the last straight toward the delivery, and hope it will be quick and safe Oh, be sure to have I will post updates!!

I agree with all what was said, I know it is not always easy writing and acting and getting all the pieces together. our characters don't have a news webpage to be updated with all that's going on... but WE do. So, we can always use this online tavern to roleplay, and to tell of our in-game roleplay. I have already written what my characters are doing, so feel free to roleplay I know that I play strange hours for most, but every one can post 'what my characters are doing' so others may interact. ...Thorax dreamt. He didn't know how long it was. Seemed like years. Thorax saw himself lying on the ground in an evergreen forest, beside him, a magnificent unicorn. Both were in a pool of their blood, and quite dead. It all came down to that picture. The dream had many flashes, through time and space. Thorax saw himself as a kid, as a fighting teenager, a noble paladin. He saw images of many who were his friends and who are still his friends. Charlie and Kodoz, Purist, Anfalas, Ariana, Liadan, Uthan, Robert, Ziire... all seemed lost to him now. He heard the sound of water, and he had a feeling of awakening. He heard the sounds of delicate wings of pixies flying lightly above him. Yet, he was still asleep. Then he dreamt of Purist, his secret lost love and the root of his evil secret. At last, Thorax awakened. It felt like years, and it made him feel old, very old. Thorax streched and flexed, and stood upright. His sword and shield were on the ground beside him and the pixies watched from the distance. He was thirsty.... so thirsty.... and the sound of water made him feel strange. He walked slowly to the pond and looked in the reflection. He saw an older Thorax than he remembered. His hair was all grey, almost white, as if someone or something drained age from him. He sighed deeply. And then, collecting what felt like years of thirst, Thorax sunk his head in the pond, and drank the water...

About the looting of the better metals, by the same 'rules' that you can never craft, for example, a 30 total defense piece of armor out of iron, but you can find it, an opposite rule can be set that the best armor that can be found as loot will have properties no better than the worst piece a (minimum skill) crafter can make. Also what about adding the possibility to mark "Item enhanced by..."? could be nice also.
