  1. I will not say many words on that, but my (reserve) army unit was turned active, we will have to join the war that have been going on here for some time. I will be going early sunday morning for an unknown period of time. Keep safe, and I'll see you this weekend, and when I return. Hopefully, I will post some nice pictures then
  2. Yup this is top comic stuff!!!! of course, it applies to all MMO games but sure as hell UO is everywhere in that comic!
  3. Very good! It is always great to get positive feedback to our actions! Also in this subject, here's what happened to me just yesterday: I was with Doc, at Delucia, running to the bank and as I reached the bank I had to go afk quick. So, while I was away, Someone came to me with a question, of course I wasn't there to see it. She got obviously angry at that (as I saw in the journal) because first she cast "recall" and after that, probably before striking the runebook, she said something like "and I thought PGoH were supposed to be a GOOD guild" When I came back and saw it in my journal, I was very irritated by this. I just CAN'T leave it at that! So, I had to find her! First go I had, I had no luck. Second time I found her at Luna bank. When I came and said "I need to say I'm sorry, because I needed to go away quick earlier and didn't hear your question", she understood that she was quick to pass judgement and said "Now it is me who needs to say I'm sorry...", we chatted some more and then went to our ways. My conclusions: -A- Be true and good, it will always bring you a smile. -B- If you happen to do unwanted harm, seek the way to get it right. -C- Don't play at work, you may cause unwanted harm!
  4. Charlie, can you also add the other participants? That way we all can give them honors
  5. Great seeing shard action again, and better seeing PGoH tred deep into it!
  6. Now I had to put a "topic" on the first post because the topic can't be changed Also, I heard that on a parallel world, there is an orc clan that would accept typing mistakes....

    Job Safety

is a movie about job safety. It begins when Klaus comes to work and ends with Klaus going into the sunset... BUT... in between the movie begins slowly with "do's and don'ts" at work but the rapidly goes towards horror movie. ENJOY
  9. HAHAHA That IS funny I will not say there's nothing to that ad... BUT... at least I have proof (one month old) my wife and I did have time for at least one time since MMORPG came into our lives two years ago... as for unproven times... I'll let your imagination go wild (I do play UO and not WoW, but from this point of view, they're one and the same.)
  10. Hey, no sweat, as long as you're not going WoW on us
  11. Ummm... I think that is just about right everywhere!!!
  12. I know this post was part joke, but I did want to reply to put some seriousness into it. Quote: "Americans who lack any real skills or ambition" There is no problem with lack of real skill - there are a lot of jobs which do not need prior knowledge or taught skill - like the example of the US Postal Service. Lack of ambition can be divided to two: 1. People with no ambition who will do their jobs good, because they need the job, the money, or just to waste the time. Those also can be considered good employees. 2. People with no ambition who will show (in their work) that they have no ambition - they will do damage to their employer, one way or another. This is why they are the biggest problem. It would be better to make rules that people with no skills will get money from the goverment and sit at home instead of damaging the companies who will have to employ them! Also: Who will promote people of no skills? to damage the employer? There is of course much more to be written, but I'll finish with a small joke on behalf of Mary Lou Gertz.... Was this part taken from Charlie Chaplin movie?
  13. Weak and Nausea... I hope this is a good sign If it's not that specific reason.... I hope you'll feel better soon... VERY SOON!!! And, maybe if you'll find some PGoH activities to be 'very gentle' you can be with your friends to make you feel better! And Fuoco... congrats on getting married!!... Will you travel from Europa to Catskills for your honeymoon?
  14. Have a good and sucsessful trip and safe journeys!
  15. Ophidian attacks escalates to open warfare. Vesper cemetary still infested with the reptilians, now also the city is infested with them. Papua, on the other hand, is almost overrun by the stinking creatures. Do not go to Papua without aid! And... be careful out there. Safe Journeys, Thorax. (I would post the link to the official site, but each and every one of you sees it on the auto update patch screen... )
  16. Valentino have just recieved his mail, delivered to his office when he saw a strange looking scroll. It is not everyday that a mirrored item from another shard reaches him. Valentino opens the scroll and reads... it seems to be a short tale regarding a mirror of Inu. *Copies the scroll and posts it at Olympus Castle* "The Inu Quest Chain The quest chain began in early April with Inu “the Crone” wandering around Britian and Luna. She was attempting to warn those who call Sosaria their home and that a great change was on the horizon, but she would not tell us what it would be. She did tell of a ratman layer that had never been found before. The people gathered and where finally able to bring down the ratman general, and there was also a book found that is now in everyone’s bank box, “Studies: The Shattering”. Through many event common people and Inu another secret area was discovered in the Whisp dungeon. To access this you had to say the special word “manifestationOfWisdom” to be teleported into the new expansion where there is a maze and a common man whisp that helped to decipher clues. By decrypting the runes that have been posted on the skypage uo.com and reading BNN articles another area was found shortly after the Whisp dungeon. This area was located in the Fan Dancer Dojo on the lowest level. Inside was another maze and an Enslaved Demon that wanted to be released. The only way to release him was to kill him, and that is eventually what happened. This Demon would reappear later in the third level of Hythloth as the Unshackled Demon and he thanks everyone for his release form his torment. During this time Inu has moved to the West Britian Bank and was attempting to warn all citizens of the doom she saw coming, but there are some who do not wish her knowledge to be known. Someone kills Inu’s guard and kidnaps her, but Inu’s Rune Beetle remains. It is learned from the beetle, through the use of rune letters, that maybe Inu was taken into the Britian sewers. Many people head down into the sewers to search and they notice there is a new area. It is later learned that a secret word, “Charvory” is needed to enter this area. Once inside the remains of a moongate are found. Two common people are eventually found that tell us more of the remains that where found. We learn that this was no natural moongate, and that it took very powerful dark magic to create it. It is believed that a moongate was created into Ilshenar. We also learn that the moongate at Luna has begun talking. Later it is discovered that a common man has been trapped in the moongate system, his name is Barry. He will respond to a variety of words. He tells us that he was sucked into the moongate and witnessed the creation of the dark moongate into a castle some where in Ilshenar. He also tells us the last thing he hears, “Masteropenthydoor”. (no spaces denoting how fast it was spoken) The castle is found to be Reg Volom and the Ethreal Tombs. Inside the tombs at the tip of a sword the saying is spoken to gain entrance into another secret room, but there is a door that blocks the way and can only be open by a lock picker of legendary skill. A BNN article informs us that there is but one legendary lock picker and his name is Ricardo. In an attempt to find Ricardo we learn that he was traveled to Terathen Keep in search of a great treasure. Many people go in search for Ricardo, but only find a thank you note from him to us for making a distraction while he escaped with the treasure. We have yet to find Ricadro, but believe he has escaped from the Keep. The Ophidians of the Keep where said to be guarding a great treasure and that is what Ricardo may have stolen. Now the Ophidians are hunting all thieves down in an attempt to find what was stolen from them, and they are currently invading towns. As of now they are in small numbers at Skara Brae, Vesper, Papua, and Serpents Hold. This is where we have come to a stop ..….until next time Friday perhaps. Energyczar High Council of The Wind Riders" This message was copied by Valentino, Senator of Trade. (Taken from stratics, Great Lake news. Slight changes have been made to comply with IC post: "NPC's" were replaces with "common people" or "common man" and times were striked through)
  17. Hail All Guardians! As we have heard from prople around us, many ophidians have left their homes and came closer to our homes and cities. I have encountered some of those reptilian scum at Vesper cemetary, where they killed a thief... all other reports include thieves... still, we have to brace ourselves for this invasion! Thorax. Picture: One Thorax, One thief corpse, One living ophidian and a pile of dead ones.
  18. Those are dark news. We will have to enforce the city guards well, as there is another problem. The ophidians have risen among us. It is not yet clear where are they coming from but guarding the city is important now, more than before.

  20. Ummm... it's not the whole spectrum... You just can't admit your'e an extremist fanatical radical extreme person You know I'm joking, right? ehhh... right?!?!?! *ducks for cover* (I'm still joking )
  21. So if anyone other than Blair want to compare... or just to see how did others who took the test, HERE is the previous link, given by Martok on July 14th 2005 <- Heh, I was very close when I wrote "probably a year or so"
  22. I can always say "GREAT!!!!" (which is true, of course) but if all hunts are later than 7 PM EST... that is a problem for me. Well, never mind me, good luck setting those up! and even more important, ENJOY! And another thing, in nude hunts regs are always a problem. Not all monsters give regs as loot and if (and that's a big IF) they give regs and LRC, the chance is that even one mage with 5 fighters, will have a hard time aiding in the battle, and will probably do less than one sixth of the party. To make it short: mages are not the preferred characters to nude hunts.
  23. I think I took the alignment test when it was posted here some time ago, probably a year or so. Nonetheless, I tested again. My main characters, and with some resemblence to me in life, I turned out Neutral Good.
  24. I am too... *comforts Charlie*
