  1. tauren marine in starcraft 2: http://starcraft2.com/features/terran/taurenmarine.xml
  2. Just watch that the Bard class is going to be an actual hero class, that would be the ultimate joke. Although I'm sure that would be a way to filter out the 12 year olds/
  3. Thanks found it and went through and looked over the list and saw only a couple of things but i havent submitted it yet because I do not know approximatly how many badges I need. And I can't for the life of me find any where that any new badge vendor loot is listed or how many badges anything takes. Should I just leave it blank for now? And the things I did see would be for my main spec..not that mages have an offspecc though I guess^^ New badge loot is here: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=25046#sells:0+10+1 Also note it won't be available until probably around the end april.
  4. It is bow called Thori'dal, the Stars' Fury that drops off Kil'jaeden. And if I ever get the chance to see it drop and somebody else tries to go for it... I'll, in the words of Waldonnis, KNIFE YOU!
  5. Hi, I would like to recommend to everyone who is filling out the questionaire to see if there is offset pieces for them outside the T5 sets, because odds are, you will not be able to complete a four piece bonus with the limited time we have in SSC/TK. Additionally for rings/trinkets/necks I would recommend taking a look and see if you'ld actually still be wearing it if we complete MH/BT/SW. I know for melee (not hunter) the best trinket in the game is out of heroic magisters terrace (Shard of Contempt), and one of the top three fall off of zul'jin (Beserker's Call). As for people who say we aren't geared enough... we are actually overgeared compared to other groups. Vashj has been done with pople still in half blues and T4 and that was before the nerf... so gear ISN'T the issue. As Elrikk has mentioned, if you are dieing in your role (or letting people die in your role) then look up some guides that may help. If for some reason the guide says you may be better with another roll, mention that to your new role leader or to calandor and it can be reviewed. Note, putting more ranged DPS on the side groups isn't viable, as we run with more melee than conventional groups. Finally the one thing that can't be stressed enough - Make sure you are situationally aware: if you see a strider spawn infront of you, run out of its way and call it out. As a healer if a strider spawns near you, stop casting heals if possible and get out of its way to avoid grabbing agro, if you have the static charge debuff STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND MOVE! The key thing that many noticed is that as soon as one person died we couldn't keep up. That being said, people make mistakes: Just learn from them and avoid repeating it. Kailand

Hrmm...I have a Ravager with the highest rank of Gore/Bite, Great Stamina, Avoidance, and some in Natural Armor. I was going to ask what works best for PvP, but it seems like Scorpids are the way to go. I also have a freshly-tamed Trachela sitting in my stable. Is it worth keeping as a pet designed to annoy the crap out of people in BGs? I've seen birds used in BG's and they are annoying, but they are more of a grinding/soloing pet. Basically for BG's it doesn't really matter what pet you have, as gear is more important. As for abilities, I always train the max ranks of Great Stamina, Growl (its free), Avoidance, Cobra Reflexes. Then I will train a DPS ability (claw if they have it, otherwise bite, but not both) and a pet type specific ability (Gore for Ravagers, screech for birds, lightning breath for windserpents, scorpid poison for scorpids, etc), and since I'm impatient I will pick up dash/dive. Alot of hunters will put points into resistances (shadow and frost for pvp, instance dependant for raiders) but I dislike training resistances as with careful management it's not really required, and usually go for armor to use up the remaining points.

Holy, I added the arena specs. for BG's spec doesn't really matter. For arena and pvp deterence doesn't matter all that much (that's what entrapment and scatter is for) basically the trade off is your pet vs your health with the two builds I posted. One thing I should adds is pets. Scorpid for PvP - this is the best PvP pet since its poisons mask your stings. for raiding if you do not have an elemental and an enhancement shaman and your crit rate is about 30% (BM spec) Windserpent > Ravager > Cat/Raptor otherwise Ravager > Cat/Raptor

Well, I was asked what some cookie cutter specs for hunters were, so I thought I'd put them down Standard Raid hunter build (BM - highest DPS spec): http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classe...000000000000000 Alternate Raid Hunter Build (MM) http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classe...000000000000000 Raid buff survival Build (SV) http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classe...210322300520351 *Added to appease holy Arena/PvP Mana Drain Spec (MM) http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classe...000000000000000 Arena/PvP Drain/Endurance spec (mm) http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classe...500000000000000 I would also like to add, that any hunter build that is built for DPS will have 20 points spread out as follows. If they don't, then they are severly limiting their DPS: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classe...000000000000000 (if you are the only hunter and run with physical DPS) or http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classe...000000000000000 (if you run with another hunter who has improved hunters mark) Also for those who are Survival like me... only one of us needs to be in a raid, more than one survival hunter in a raid is a waste of a DPS spot, as expose weakness does not stack, so the hunter with the lesser agility should respec BM (the defacto raid spec and highest personal DPS spec).
  9. The pattern is now BoP, but still producing the BoE item. If anyone wants these gloves just send me the materials. The epic LW patterns I can make for others are (i've updated the character profile on my roster to reflect my new acquisitions): Cloak of Darkness Nethercleft Leg Armor Nethercobra Leg Armor Gloves of the Living Touch Shadowprowler's Chestguard Belt of the Black Eagle Living Dragonscale Helm Netherdrake Helm Thick Netherscale Breastplate Windstrike Gloves And again, if you want these made just send me the materials (note, supply your own Primal Nethers/Nether Vortices as these are non soulbound now). P
  10. but for enhancement shaman the cataclysm set isn't all that good.
  11. They are a rogue only set it looks like... warriors and shammies prefer slow/slow.
  12. Well, here is the loot we got for those enquiring minds: Sharded: Distracting Blades (Selin Fireheart) Shoulderpads of the Silvermoon Retainer (Kael'thas Sunstrider) Waldonnis: Orb of the Sin'dorei (Priestess Delrissa) Formula: Enchant Cloak - Steelweave (Vexallus) Baracko: Rod of the Blazing Light (Vexallus) Cudgel of Consecration (Kael'thas Sunstrider) Kadiana: Vial of the Sunwell (Priestess Delrissa) Kailand: Pattern: Gloves of the Living Touch (Kael-thas Sunstrider) Plus everyone got 4 Badges and a large repair bill , but unfortunately Kael'thas doesn't drop Primal Nethers on heroic. This is a fun and highly challenging instance. It emphasises control in terms of DPS, CC, awareness, and positioning - even on normal it needs to be thought of as a 5 man raid. If a person can't handle fights in karazhan like moroes, opera, and prince then they should probably avoid heroic magisters terrace. That being said, this should be a good instance to train people on how to handle kara/za. One of the things that many people will have problems with is that vexallus on heroic is about really really slow DPS - you cannot burn through him since everyone will die in a hurry. Selin Fireheart is similar to the last boss in steamvaults. Priestess Delrissa is an encounter similar to moroes/Malacrass where 4 random adds need to be controlled and burned down in addition to the boss. Kael-thas Sunstrider is very similar to phase 4 and 5 of the TK version - there is target switching to adds, plus you have to be aware of your surroundings. Warning: The spell effects present in this instance will probably kill people with poor graphic cards.
  13. I wouldn't recommend skipping bosses whose trash we'd have to clear to get to vashj and kael... we would save more time doing the bosses than reclearing the trash. I know I am only waiting on 3 pieces of loot from SSC/TK: Tsunami Talisman from Leo, Thalassian Wildercloak and the Telonicus's Pendant of Mayhem from Kael'thas. (these are best in slot for survival hunters in the game). As for badges... even bosses in MH and BT give them, so that shouldn't be a factor in determining whether to down bosses or not. And For me... most of the badge gear isn't all that better than what I have now, if I was a beastmaster raiding spec, or even the pvp tree (marksman) I would probably pick up a few pieces.
  14. I think there is gear people need off of leo, hydros, lurker and kalathress. I'm not sure about tidewalker. It's probably best not to skip them.
  15. I'm looking forward to: - BoE Primal Nethers/Nether Vortex. Let the price-gouging begin! - Badges from 25-man content. Plus abilities that chain (chain lightning, multi shot, etc) will not break CC, and a third tier token dropping from bosses (it still will be defender, but at least our warriors/druids/preist will be tier geared in no time).

    Hello

I have the pattern, and with 2.4 now out, you can now (or shortly) get the nether vortices as BoE's from new badge vendor. Just send me all the mats and I will craft it for you. Another good choice for belts, as I'm sure baracko will tell you, is the leather belt from ZA (slightly better) or the vindicator belt (slightly worse).
  17. Another thing to remember - the boot patterns produce a BoP item, even though the pattern is BoE. In otherwords only the crafter himself may make a pair of these for himself.
  18. I just thought that I would add the debuffs that hunters put up: I apply: Improved Hunters Mark (110 AP to melee, upto 440 RAP) Scorpid Sting (-5% for target to hit) Expose Weakness (25% of my agility is applied to AP of attackers, which is about 275 AP while I'm raidbuffed.) and Karrock puts up a sting also, usually serpent sting.
  19. yep, it's that time of the year already. I want to wish everyone a happy PI day, so today when you are eating pie just think of that magical number PI, and also remember to share that pie with another person, otherwise you will be eating a 2 PI share for more info http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/celebrating-pi-day/
  20. Hi, Calendar directed me to this site today: http://be.imba.hu/. it looks very useful for evaluating what you need to upgrade/change for PvE viability. It seems to be pretty accurate for gear (in saying what you need to change) but it doesn't say what you need to change it to. I'd advise everyone who wants to do kara and above to visit this site, and follow thier suggestions. If you are wondering what gems/enchants/etc that you should change too, look up somebody else of the same class until you find one that doesn't say that it needs improvement. Have fun Kailand
  21. Aren't they immune to [Wife Poison]. You should use the [tame wife] ability.
  22. And we were glad that you were there. May we do several more clears in the future. Also we are looking for a permanent tank for the run. if any are interested, direct them my direction. The run goes from 9:30pm-2:30 am( or until we drop) friday night. I would like to thank Calendar and Harne for more than adequately filling in the positions the last 2 weeks.
  23. I figured it was probably something like that. For the most part, we were learning how to pick up the naga and deal with the striders suring phase 2.
