Hey guys, were planin an improptu get together tonight to give evil a sound thrashing. We will be using the Valor virtue to activate a shrine in T2A, ,which will then be eradicated exclusively by PGoH. All interested may feel free to drop me a line for details. This is an informal event, just a chance to get together and get some scrolls for nothing more then the grins of it.

I havent had a whole lot of time to research this either, but from what I can tell Ill have both a warrior and a smithy. Both elven if thats available, otherwise human. (I plan to just buy it off the shelf and jump right in with what I can do)

I think I join with everyone in saying its wonderful to be next to the blade of Wolf as opposed to in front of it. Just messing with ya Wolfy im dancing next to Logan!

Welp, not a whole lot to throw in, just what ive learned. 1.) Baskets are on workers, braclets are on warriors. 2.) Red Solans are Tram, Black Fellucia 3.) Acid hurts... A lot. Your best odds are with a melee figher as it will only shoot acid near death, and in trammel its easily avoided by steping forward quickly to where your on top of the ant. If your fast enough you will take no damage from it. Neither high AR nor high resist seem to affect the damage they deal. 4.) As far as I can tell, the pack instincts rumors are untrue, but im no tamer so I could be wrong. 5.) One last tip for fighters. If you find your loosing a fight, dont run far. Try to just keep 3-4 steps ahead of them, or they will shoot acid at ya. Certian death if your already low. Welp, thats what Ive figured out so far. One thing Id like to know is if they dispel or can be barded. Im willing to wager that we will eventually need to fight these things in numbers (being ants and all) and either of those abilities would make them far more deadly.

Ive been thinking on this issue. A lot. And while I am about as outraged as can be, Ive come to a point of disconscern. While it is irritating that what was months on months to years of work has been crunched to either a week or two or thirty bucks does not matter. I DID IT RIGHT. I took the time and energy to pour countless hours of training and running to get ressurected into my charicters. (for yall youngins, not everyone used to be able to rez. Unless you where real lucky you where hoofin it back to town or praying for a wandering healer. :O ) The point is that vets have exactly what they came for in the first place. Lifelong friends, great status, and a charicter that they can take pride in. I have a second account, its full of macro babies also as its only two years old. I play those charicters maybe once a week. My REAL charicters, my children, they onlyt sleep when I do. Point being, EA can try as much as they want to mess this game up, but the bonds I have between my pixil babies and the friends I have made along the way are perminate. In all likely hood I will be moving to Horizons or ShadowBane (havent decided yet, horizons looks better, but summer of 2003!!! thats forever ) eventually, but my main account will always be active, and I will not simply disapear. So I leave you with these final words I heared from a witty gent at brit bank last night. Id like to take a moment to announce a call to all within the guild of a new cohort forming, or at least reforming. The Lancer Cohort has existed for several months but has failed to see development due to its extreme guidelines. A Lancer Knight is as follows: First and formost, (s)he will weild either a Long Spear, Short Spear, Hally, or Bardich. Secondly they are Well armoured, as they are the front line and first to flank. Lastly they are on Horseback at all times within battle, as movement is the key to there usefulness. In combat tactics we are the "durring battle" scouts, first wave of a charge, and most key, we flank to control our enemies movements. Only very experianced fighters need apply, as this is a very difficult task to compleate, and absolute control must be exerted at all times. This cohort is not without benefits however. We are there when honor must be enforced on the end of a pike, and thus are like a flagship when properly assembled. Also due to the high demands of equipment for membership, all are provided free of charge. All interested please inquire to me or Ange, and also feel free to get onto recruiting fancers/swordsmen. First of, I finnaly got my comp in resonable condition, so im back on boards! Now the ugly part. If youve already listen to 5000 rants today, suffer one more for my sake, because this really burns me and I gotta rant, that or quit uo alltogether. I started playing UO four years ago for no reason other then something to kill the time given to me by avid insomnia. Its fun, full of potential, and best of all only 10 bucks a month. Considering how much I play, thats very cheap entertainment. It didnt take me a few weeks to GM a skill, , or a few months. Try 10 months, the pride I felt then I hit GM tactics was immesurable. It was on an orc. Not an orcish brute, or a bomber, just a good ol fashion orc. At that point I set out to create a seven times gm assassin. I mean a real assassin. Hiding, poisoning, fencing, a RP char with a template that actually matched. I got all the way up to 5 after YEARS of work when I finnished parry. Parry used to be a godly skill to you youngins reading. It was only beaten by resist in difficulty to raise (yell vets may argue this, but I had one heck of a time) About a month later EA (not the good natured OSI the Garrot aka THE MAN started, but E call me Satan A) droped the bomb with powerhour. Suddenly everyone had GM parry, and a month after that it got nerfed of course. I was angry, but I coped. Time after time again EA has provided me with these little pitfalls. (example, the wonderful little bug there you could gm a crafting skill in two ph's. That lasted over a month, great customer service! Made the YEARS it took to gm smithing seem like a waste of time in my life ill never get back) But today, today was the final straw. When I started UO all american shards where fairly established, and the whole poineer spirit was missed by myself. For four bloody years Ive waited for a new American shard. Today they gave it to me, but at a price. Gotta buy a new account. Nope, your four years means nothing to us, your *does math* 700+ $$$ and countless hours of comitment, those mean nil too. Nope, we want another 15 bucks outta yah, plus another 10 every month hereafter, oh and btw, unless you give us another 30 per charicter, youll never compeate. Have a nice day sir. Why do we put up with this? Simple, five years ago an ingenous and creative man stumbled upon an revolutionary formula. A game with infinate potential, human interaction, and no ending. You cant win, but then you cant loose now can you? You just play and play and enjoy yourself. You can be someone else, you can be you. Wanna build stuff, great. Wanna house or even castle, great. Want to cast epic spells and develope battle tactics of your own mind against not only computers but other intellegent player? Awesome, well throw that in too. This was an idea so good, that those blood sucking evil capitolistic monymongers at EA cant mess it up no matter how hard they try. They just make it easier for those without patiance or even a few hours to kill to excell. Yeah im hurt, my time an money mean nothing to these guys, but i dont like em either so who cares. To sum it up, they can take there new shard, there multi-million dollar buisness, there har-kreshna looking customer support, and any product they ever make again so long as they exist befor being bought out by more evil power then themselves and shove it all strait up there worthless a$$'s. The moment I find a game with even 1/4 of the potential of UO, im moving. My irl friends will prolly come to, so yall will make a killing on my stuff that ill prolly just give away. Im not going away right now, but the fires snuffed, the only interest I have now is PGoH, the other ant squashing passify the children crap might as well not exist to me. For those of you who got through this, thanks for reading and sorry for grammer errors, im just typing as fast as my fingers can move.

Lord yeah. I was too young (litteraly) to upgrade at the time, so I was stuck like that for a while. I dont wanna go back!!! Im not off computer until saturday, but ICQ is far from working for some reason... Okeee guys, the big day is drawing near. For those of you who dont know the backstory, Im moving back home. I had to come up to Maine for a year to be with family, but now Im going back to work and school! As a direct result I will be away for a few weeks within UO as of Saturday-Sunday (kinda grey in here) I will try to keep up with guild events via this page, but my computer will be very outta condiation until I get set up there. (Can you beleive my roomate has been living with dialup??? We gunna have to fix that ASAP!!!) Welp, for those of you who read my seemingly endless rant, here is a special treat. I went ahead and burned out one of my Copper runics and stocked my vendor Cecil at Olympus to the brim. He cant hold any more Items!!! I think you will find the prices, ehem, amusingly resonable, just my way of saying thank you for the fun I have had so far and know will come. Due to the extreamly inconvenient nature of the "improvement" I beleive it has gone back to its origional style. But then again, I could be wrong.

OK here it is. I am moving on the 28-30th or so, and will be afk for around a month give or take a week. (Im uhaulin it from Maine to Texas, and I gotta lot of crap, its gunna take a while. Plus I gotta getta job and set up cable and yadda yadda, thus the length of time away) Okee here we go. Im at 99.6 cart. I wanna gm before I go. Ill pay 15k for tattered level 4 maps. (cleverly) Or if you dont want that, ill dig up and unlock any level for maps you have in exchange for letting me decode em. (the spawns yers to handle ) I only have a few days left though, so I need em soon! If anyone can help, feel free always to Q me. *Waves hand in air adimently* I KNOW I KNOW!!! Lotting rights are like attacking rights, they are held into account in an order of precidence, much like attacking rights. So if someone is blue, you cant loot em but if they are green you can. Now a party has HIGHER precidence then guild status, because it is activly selected. You remember that message we all ignore now that states that you have selected to allow party to loot you when you party up? Welp Post-16 it now defaults no loot. So, even guilded, you cannot be looted unless you select to make it so manualy now. *Beams with pride!!!* Oh and on the subject of THE crash thrusday. (Thursday was the big one, although there where several small ones prior.) I have no concreat evidence but I have my theories. Back in the Day- UO is big, servers get big. EQ and others come out as well as loss of interest, players leave. Servers stay big. UO:R UO 3D LBR come out, bring new player base to replace lost players, servers stay in size. Enter 16... Fel is fun again, oldplayers actively return. (trust me I know, my rommie who used to play once a week is glued to his screen as much as me again!) Now we have old player base, and new player base, but same size player. LAG LAG LAG CRASH!!! EA aint stupid though, money says prob is already fixed, at least my con issues are gone, but friday and thurday sucked!!! Welp thats my speal, hope it was informative!!!

Im buyin 20 Exp Barbed Bone armour!!! No really, not because its the Top large, because ive already got the Chest (the hardest peice) So I figure what the hay??? Ill pay in gold, goods, or trade. I can obtain almost any item in game given time and finances, true rares being a logical exception, so if you have one of these bods and are looking for a more excentric item, drop a line. There is NO item in game I cannot craft either, so thats a can do, and bulk is no issue. Can you tell I want these???

Ive had rather good luck taking things that where not mine off of champs Shhh dont tell anyone! The Undead champ has far more then scrolls and skulls for loot. I received off one that I dry looted (Im gettin my oldschool looting skills back! How sad...) a Silver supream acc silver longspear of power and a silver indest xbow of power. Not to mention 2 invuln bucklers :wow: Very nice loot, only prob is that its gettin highly popluar needless to say, so competion is feirce. I have it on good accord that the T2A spawns are running fine now, we should try one of them as a guild and see how we fair. PS- The champ I looted was Nedria, by FAR my favorite... Fewer tamers there...

Just HAD to mention that eh? *Laughs* Actually, Ive died within 2 minutes of the spawn about 5 times now, its getting rather old. Oh well, got a +5 prov and a +10 resist, so Im happy. Ill prolly go out again tonight, so look for me in Deceit.

This is a wonderful little boost to mages out there. (Ill wager to make up for the AR color = higher AR change) I dont have the exact numbers yet, but each leather gives progressivly -sp- higher AR while changing none of the armours properties. In other words, spined leather has all the same properties as normal leather, yet gives a higher AR. Enjoy mages! (and the few smart fighters who take advantage of this )
