  1. It is me, or is there a lot of Hostility in the music selection or my guildmates. I think there might be a little pent up rage goin on here... Oh yeah, and how did I know you would be one to enjoy a Clockwork Orange Kurt?
  2. To Hades with all that... Yes, this is a very sad day indeed, but as I sure even you can admit chris, 99% of the people in this guild, including those I dont personally get along with, can be trusted inplicitly. Its a recruting phase as it is, and bad seeds will make there way in. Simply shrug, accept your pixilated loss, and continue on. While it is tragic to loose hours upon hours of work, compaired to a lifetime of friendships, its just toys... Either way, as long as YOUR still involved in the guild, then all is well and I am happy. P.S.: I shall be returning within the next week or so, so heads up chillin! P.P.S.: Names duely noted, well go head huntin when I get back :alien:
  3. Borg, I have a whole new respect (pitty) for yah. I started a new job about a month ago and, boom!, no UO. I am a bar manager at a night club here in Lubbock. To sum it up, I have never had to deal with this level of incompitance in my entier life... Its driving me up the wall. Im only workin 46 hours a week (yah STILL got me beat) but my hours go until 5 in the mornin. Worst part? I cant fire em, its the dry season for employment, and you simply CANNOT run a bar without bartenders and barbacks. Im gettin to the point where im looking forward to gettin my rear handed to me in the military, at least people try to be compitent there. :shakehead: Either way im trying to get some good help, and should shortly be back on UO (Right after new years roughly, needless to say thats a big night for us) and as active as ever. Until then, hang in there borg, and ill try to do the same.
  4. What? Am I the only one who listens to techno when pvping? Cant beat a violent bassline once the adrenilen -sp- gets flowing. Throw on some anibolic or digweed. Maybe its just me
  5. First and foremost, I AM alive! Ive been away from the computer for a few weeks now due to massive RL issues, but should be back soon enough. (Im thinkin a little after New Years) Right now Im visiting the parents for the holidays, and am posting on there computer. Now to the point at hand. Lets get some Valorite! I have roughly 50+ garg axes, not to mention quite a few runebooks to many valorite and verite spots, so any time that people are ready and able I would be happy to dig up a few ugly critters to get us some ore. Everyone just post good times of the week for yerselves, and I would be happy to set things up! Otherwise, everyone have a real good week, be safe on new years, and and dont do anything I would!
  6. ...You never cease to amaze me hun :wow: Sorry for the loss.
  7. I deal with enough crap in real life to have to put up with this. I play a game because I like to relax, not because I want to deal with constant drama or be a member of some megelomanics army. This guild no longer seems to be what it was when I joined, and I dont like what its becomeing. Good bye and good night.
  8. I have had enough. I will not go into details because I would hate for this to be mistaken for a flame. Rand, you are out of hand and out of line. If the leadership of this guild does not agree then I am out of line in saying this. But then if this is truly the direction that our leadership wants PGoH to move in then maybe I have lost touch of what this guild is about. I was under the impression that this guild was about friendship, teamwork and trust. I was not under the impression that we where a group of barbarians, or that we where going to be lumped into a single mindless army that would swarm into Feluccia like a bunch of idiots. Do you not all realize what a slaughter that would be? Training means nothing; most members of this guild lack any REAL pvp experience, which is the only thing that counts. I can only visualize where this inane road will take us, but if you jump on the rand bus, look in the rearview, because Ill be back there waving and shaking my head...

  11. I am more then willing to help with anything that could mean better bods! Call me anytime on that one and all I am doing will be droped! (Over the last two weeks with three smiths goin three times a day, my best bod has been a 20 exp ring arms in shadow ) I swear if the rewards werent so spiffy I would give up!
  12. Wisdom with age? Hmmm this explains much about many.... But thats another days debate! Happy B-Day Borg!
  13. Ok this is going to be a rather long post that pertains to drastic revisions to the way the army operates. THIS IS ONLY AN IDEA. Any and all input is appreciated, anything from "Triston, what in the heck where you thinking when you wrote this?" to "Wow, to hear you speak is inspiration!" So, without further adieu, here we go! The majority of this post will pertain to the Cohort system. For countless years this system has aided our empire in combating the forces of darkness, unfortunately in recent times it has proven itself more of a burden then blessing. Very few Cohorts are actively full, and never have I seen a whole cohort present at one point in time. The reasoning behind this is simple and two fold. 1) People have many alternate characters, and will desire to play them at different times. 2) As more and more temples become popular (and Age of Shadows will only make this worse) it is becoming harder and harder to specifically places any person in any one cohort. Many warriors now use magic, and if they do not the surely have more then one fighting skill. There is one more reason that this system is ineffective which I will touch now. No one cohort is effective in any situation, making it necessary to have more then one cohort present at most times. With all of these problems plaguing our current system what is a possible solution? New Cohorts should be drawn up to create an efficient balance of templates. People in these cohorts should be accustom to working together and their skills should be complimentary. A normal cohort should consist of the following: Two fighters, a Tamer, and a Mage. With this design warriors will still be able to cross heal (without the burden of watching 5 health bars), mages will be able to utilize there firepower without having to be wary of taking damage themselves, and Tamers will be able to provide extra firepower and emergency heals. This format is of course subject to change, but in looking at the current numbers of PGoH it is only logical to say that this would allow most players an efficient cohort to be a part of. All of this is of course subject to change, and open for debate, but if all goes well it could prove to be an efficient system.
  14. Well here is a thought. With the advent of the brigand scenario, it seems that all the warriors of pgoh have obtained themselves a runic wep of sime sort. (BISHOP) Anyhow, to make it a fair fight night how about just GM. Of course to make this work we would need to limit the running space sevearly, that way you cant just easily run around till your heal gets off and make the fight last forever.
  15. Agreed! Although next time lets not leave so much beer just sittin there waiting to be drank... Its 7 1/2 hours later and triston is still drunk!
  16. Create a pk on Pacific! I had a blast swarming 5 year vets with me and my dozen other 50 swords 50 tactics buddies from catskills, great lakes, lake superior, you name it. Met lots of fun people, but not to many of the pacific players liked us. Not that it mattered much, within the first hour I was red, and not a single npc kill! Was much fun.
  17. It was a cold night, even for this late in the fall season. The true fingers of the cold though laid within the wind, which was howling feircly. Blue grey clouds raced across the sky as though there was somewhere important to be, as though there was something they had never seen before lying over the horizon. On the balcony of an impressive castle sat a man in shadow dark platemail, a cloak of crimson red all that protected him from the elements. Suddenly from seemingly the sky a shadow fell, landing without a noise behind the man. He neither turned nor acknowlaged it, he simply stood on the ledge, looking over the bay. The shadow moved forward, slowly and deliberatly, but most of all silently. As soon as it was within an arms length the man spun, and with a silver arc moved a cruel kryss to the intuders chest, smiling beneith his helmet. "Oh, its mearly you. Did all goes as planed?" He asked, sheathing his weapon and removing his helmet. Beneith the mass of armour was Triston Lioness, fallen Prince. "Yes, it is I. I was mearly assuring myself that our leader was not so lost in his ponderings that he would let his guard down. There are many that would enjoy seeing you fall, and you seemed so vulnerable just there." The figure had a femanine voice, but the concealing shadows kept her from being seen. She paused a moment, accesing Triston. "I was forced to fell two guards in taking this, not to mention some rather nasty burns from protective spells. I will not be able to make a move again for some time, as they could grow suspect of me. Not that it matters, without this to block our scrying attempts, we will have little need for a spy." At that she tossed a book upon one of the chairs, then seemed to disapear from thin air, and without a sound. From the corner steped a tall but thin man, dressed in folded robes. He spoke shortly and quietly, as though enemies stood not five feet away. "Shall I lock it into stasis, so that the mages of honor may not find it?" "Yes. Then take it to the base of our new allies, they will be able to guard it best." "But they are meer savages! It is a powerful artifact and must be treated delicatly!" Said the mage as he picked up the book. "There leader is wise as there race goes, he will know better then to let the lessers be near it. Worry not it will be safer there then here. They might have been able to follow it this far, and could know the location of our hiding place, we must take it from here immediatly." "Yes. I suppose there is truth there. So be it, I will cloak it then give it to them. At least this way if they break through my spells of hiding, we will not incure the blunt of there wraith. It is done." With that the mage went inside, muttering to himself under his breath. Triston simply shook his head, and debated what he had done. The Codex of Honor is a valuable and powerful tome, one which can keep an entire building safe from scrying. Without scrying our enemies could not be closly watched, but its price had been high. He had been forced to use his best inside agent to obtain it, and while she had worked undetected, the others would be suspicious of there fellows from now forward. Even more imporant was the ire of the leadership, they would certianly be quite upset when they found it gone, quite upset indeed. Will it be worth it? Only time shall tell...
  18. Sign me up! Oh yes, and I think It would be in our best interests to use the "Dueling" rules from the codex as opposed to the ROE, but thats just my opinion and its far from my event. Either way, it should be a blast!
  19. All ye goodies are in for a quite night, as I personally will be going out of town for the night (and possably another) on horridly short notice. With that said, do not be suprized if something else happens anyways, as far more forces are at work here then myself alone.... :alien:
  20. TO whom it may conscern, I Triston, along with the entierty of my family am leaving the guild. Its been a great time, and I made many friends whom I plan to keep in touch with all of. I wish the guild all the best of luck in its endevors, and I hope you may all always have the best of times. To those of you whom I grew close to, you know how to get ahold of me. Cya on the flipside
  21. ok the pic was pretty funny, but els response, now thats classic... I think I laughed longer at that...
  22. *deleated* For those whom it may conscern. Any and all fiction that I was partaking in or holding is hearby cancled. I hope everyone had fun, but I can no longer continue it.
  23. Bronze is Just below Vanq, ,and Gold Just above. Aga, Ver, and Val are unreal, but all in all Id take a Dull Copper over a power or less magical weapon any day of the week. You see, with Runic weapons you not only receive the listed bonuses, but additionally you gain the GM bonuses. Plus! You also do not have to deal with the base to miss chance. You see waaaaaaaaay back in the day osi in its infinate wisdom placed a modifier on Magical weapons to keep them from being unbalancing. I beleive its something like 20%, but its been years cense I have seen concreat #'s. So basicly everytime you WOULD hit, the system does a 1-100 dice roll. If your 1-20, even though you should have hit, you wiff. Thats no there with runics, making them more powerful, more accurate, and more consistant than any magical weapon ever could be. Hope that was helpful! PS, Highest Hammer I got right now is Copper, but you might consider asking schnide reeeeeeeeeaaal nicelike if he will make you a goldy. Gold generaly runs 50k (give or take 10k) Agapite generally runs 200k (give or take 50k) Verite usually is around 500k (give or take 100k) and Valorite is whatever the seller wants to charge, as there is so few of them with such high demand that the market is unreal. Plus its impossable to find one for sale either way you cut it.
