I played it for a short while, but to me the game was too much like the original, mindless wacking, and sparse plot. Then the owner of the CD moved out so no, I do not own a copy of this title.

Are there any hers you are specifically interested in? My "pluck the flowers is at 223 and I grab herbs whenever I ahppen across them so I tend to have a bunch of stuff just laying around.

So has anyone picked this up yet? I've heard good things about the title, but it is getting bad reviews. Many people liken this to a Starcraft/Masters of Orion fusion, which sounds intriguing.

Yup, seems like I am back in the WoW spirit of things, and if you remember waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back a long time ago, I was looking for a group to hit Blackfathom depths? Well I'm back to it. Looking at possibly 5 March Please lemme know here is you are interested in taking out a dungeon.

The people that put that mess together are pretty much kooks. I've seen it previously and although they put it together real well, there is a whole lot of silly speculation that falls apart after only a minor bit of thought.

It's been waaay too long since I payed attention to Metallica's music, or really spent time listening to them, so i couldn't vote. But work boredom I'm all over that stuff. and soon, I'll be gaves guy, so it's just gonna get worse.

I went for yes myself. I am a latecomer into the game, and after a total mess up on the first time I started, began anew with a somewhat better build. I still made mistakes but with some advice, I have learned quite a bit in regards as to how things work. I think I would be able to put together a decent setup and reach the top eschelons even without a restart, but starting in this game late is extra tough. If we were to do a restart though I would suggest perhaps advertising on all of the sub forums with a new start date and perhaps we could get a larger group than the 20 people that are presently shown in the lists. Right now, there is such a disparity of the bottom dwellers (me included) with the top, that it is in essence two games, and if one of us is able to break into the top, it will basically be just like starting over again in a new game.

So, from my understnading of your inital post Icuburn, I have now begun to purchase items from the armory. Do these items need to be equipped in some way, and if so, how please?

That all depends, as I am and will continue to be the whipping boy. There appears to be an error somplace in the code. As an example, I checked and saw I had been hit for a touch over 1,000 of my 1800 hard earned coin, came over here to pick on the prson hitting me via the attack system, saw your post Icuburn, learned stuff (thank you very much btw) jumped back to the Army system to calculate when I would have the funds available to do anything, and my losses were magically replaced. Don't get me wrong, it is very nice to think I will be able to purchase something well before I expected, but....I don't think that is how things are 'sposed to work.

So, what's the deal with this thing? I have tried two different builds, and apparantly, neither of them are worthwhile. I first went with a 50/50 mix of attackers, adn spies, thinking spying would be a good plan, but that did nothing, I finally figured out how to recruit more troops, but alas, there was no way i was going to get the 10,000 gold together to manage any recruiting, having 5 attack specs, adn 5 spies wouldn't save me from any attack, and I also could not pull of a successful attack against even the weakest foe. So, I reset, went defensive, and upped my recruiting, (which apparantly has done nothing for increasing my troops size, as I have had zero new troops appear, even though it says I am supposed to be gaining 2 recruits an hour) and the 8 defensive specs I have, are apparantly absolutely worthless. (got nailed by someone with 11 untrained people that basically mopped the floor with me) So, what gives? Can anyone advise me as to what I am doing wrong? give me a hint or something? I really don't want to be just a coin farm for the rest of the players.

Both Tanglathor and Tuuroh come through the same router. Machines are set up with 2k advanced server (cause I can) I am utilizing a D-link 4 port router, and the machines themselves are toward the lower end of the spectrum for WoW (mine is bare minimum for video I'd bet, and most likely not supported if I run into issues; Radeon 8500 LE) I've never had any issues with disconnects with multiple users (up to 4) playing the same MMO. Of course at this time there is only Tuuroh and myself that are WoWing of my list o' LAN friends.

reasons? Convince you? Umm hate to say it this way, but seeya. I don't think it is anyone else's job to convince anyone else to stay here. My reasons for staying are simple. I have friends here. It is an rp server; where I have struck up conversations with other players at random, in character, which is quite diffferent than other games where rp is just a couple of letters out of the alphabet, and has nothing to do with how you play. In the end, if you want to move, then do so, if you want to stay, great, but don't expect other people to convince you to stay.
