How is everyone seeing it? I don't see any links or pics of it.

Actually it doesnt always BSOD. I am able to force the application to end using task manager, sometimes but it seems to inevitably bog the system down making mouse click responses slow if at all, like partial lock ups. Once the newest drivers are installed or the system restore is disabled (or anything else he tries) and when the game finally runs ok, it runs alright, presumably indefinitly. But then when you shut down the PC the normal way, then power it up its like no changes were ever done. Huato: Honestly right now WoW is the only game we have installed in these new PCs (Its all we play really) And everything we have in the PCs is brand new. Our RAM cards are Corsair XMS3 DHX 2GB (2 x 1GB) I presume a top of the line model. And the PSU units are actually a new 850W model. And to answer your last question I believe Kriojha has in fact pulled drivers from nVidia several times but that seems to only be a temporary fix

It was going to be so perfect, new PCs, clear crisp graphics to play WoW with. Then the trouble started. Kriojha posted this I quoted on another forum to ask for help. Its to do with our new PCs. We can't play WoW reliably because we're not sure if the motherboards we got can support the kind of video cards. He installed drivers for the video card, but when its off for any time, and then turned back on again, Windows over writes the driver, reverting it back and making the graphic intense game not work. And it can cause my system to crash. Essentially what Im saying is that again I may have to miss raids this upcoming week if we can't find a solution. Or if the solution is to return anything, then I'll still be out of the game until its rebuilt. Believe me I hate the notion of that but we're not sure what else we could do. I know it maybe hard to fully diagnose without knowing other info like BIOS setup or other but if it helps we can post that info if you need. Thank you.

In a way Im not surprised you did get him down, of course when I couldn't be there. Maybe I was the weak link and guess I'll not get the chance to get my vial from Kael for that quest. And I was still looking for a wand upgrade off Solarion. Grats on downing him though, and if you still want me around next week I should be around.

Got a heads up. Complications with the new PC have delayed my being able to get WoW installed. It works fine and it should be ok but my housemate won't be able to fix anything until he comes home from work which is really only an hour before the usual start time. So I probably will not be able to attend this evening. Sorry for the really short notice but this was not something that you can plan ahead for. I had fully expected to have it up and running by then but such is the way sometimes.

Grats on the loot from both places, TK and Hyjal I hope we find a way to streamline the loot system for trash drops in Hyjal though. There is a neck I had sort of hoped would dropped that would have been a major upgrade for me. (Still wearing one off Prince from Kara) I think Kelivus got it last time. Its called Hellfire Encased Pendant. And maybe it will drop next time we're there, but I would hate to know it did drop but was not picked up and lost because we could not grab it in all the commotion. I understand killing the waves takes priority, but still I would feel better with a little more time between waves.

My warrior can bandage very well!! ... I still miss running with you all.

From Baracko: Ive been collecting mats for the pieces of SR gear for myself, but if it seems we don't need every piece then I don't mind sharing my extra shadow and life primals. I'll get with Waldy maybe if he doesn't mind to determine just which SR pieces I will need so I know how many void crystals Im actually trying to get.

And Ive definitly turned down my graphics, but that also means spell effects unfortunatly. Hopefully if there is any things I need to see to avoid during the boss fights in TK, I'll have to be really really careful. Im sure that I'll get to see some kind of effect such as with the flame piles during the 2nd phase of Alar fight, It'll be dim but I'll see them. And from what I understand, the new systems Kriojha will be getting us are going to be really spiffy for games. I dont remember the company we're getting them from though. I'll have to ask him! He was telling me it'd just be a waste of money to try and upgrade what we have becasue we probably couldn't even find hardware for what we have anymore. So it's only going to be a little while longer then we'll have the new systems on the way. If I have any problems before then such as if I can't get online anymore I'll try to give notice ASAP but obviously thats not something you can really plan for.

I need to give a heads up. I plan to keep attending the raids if I am able but my PC is pretty well on its 'last legs' so to speak. My PC is old, its not been upgraded in something like 4 years. Yesterday my system crashed and I got to the "Blue Screen" Well my boyfriend was able to get it back up and running but not after having to take out some drives. Additionally the motherboard is wearing out as is my graphics card. As it is now I can go on the internet and start up WoW, however after a little bit of playing the graphics start to mess up and I get flickering pixals. It doesn't seem to affect game play other then being annoying. And before you say I should have been upgrading well I know this. But computer hardware is so expensive and we've had to give up getting new parts because money has been kind of tight for us and we have had other expenses that were more important like maintaining a place to live. However by the end of the month which isnt too far off, my guy (Kriojha) says he will be able to order us some new PCs but it will take about 5 days for us to get them as we're ordering them and they will be shipped. So hopefully soon we'll get them, get WoW installed and be back to normal. I don't foresee any repeats of system crashing but I really can't say it won't happen again or that it will. So if you want me to come and just hope for the best thats fine, or if you want to replace me temporarily. Because I would like to keep coming along as long as I am needed, I just need a new PC, but can't get one this weekend.

Ileirria(Kriojha) and I were in a raid before, the Friday Kara runs led by Kargoch. However I had to drop out for a time to MT for my guild's runs on Saturdays. Now we have a feral druid tank and he says he feels confident to begin MTing it from now on, so now my warrior is without a Kara run. However leaving the Friday group made me loose my MT spot there. Which I can understand. And Ileirria also had to step out due to a change in work schedules in RL. However he now realizes that Fridays after 8pm still work for him since he's settled into the new job. I would like to get back into the routine of tanking it to stay in practice more then anything. Also we would like to build up badges again, something I didnt really get to do on the Saturday run due to it still being a new raid group. I will be going to that one on my hunter but Id still like to also have a run for my Prot Warrior. However I am terrible at organizing and rallying things like this without help. Jalzin is very well geared, and has Kara gear up through Netherspite, and I feel I am pretty experienced in tanking the place except for Nightbane and Prince (which Im told are not too terrible). Due to other raid obligations it would have to be Wednesdays, Friday or Saturday evenings. I supose we could post something on the big WoW boards but we'd much rather run with people we know will be good and do their roles. If anyone knows of any runs forming from Skullcrushers and/or friends of the Crushers we'd be intrested.

Now if only Argent Dawn would come back on so we can have fun in ZA tonight

I am very pleased with us all as well! Im extremly proud and glad I can say I helped with this kill. If you say the Kael in The Eye is kind of similar to the one in M. Terrace then at least some of us have a general idea of what to expect. Of course I will expect the The Eye encounter with him to be much more complex and difficult So I will not go in with any expectations of it being easy.

What is its default location? When I extracted it, it didnt seem to go to my start menu See im just really a moron when it comes to stuff like this It seemed to go right to my Downloads but what is the destination folder im looking for to put it in? There has to be someplace to put it because where it is, its not doing anything. The folder is called "Install_WAU"

Oh cool! I hadnt known Bluud came back on a different toon if he ever left AD? He still come around sometimes if on a Paladin? I suppose once Illei does have a little more endurance through Armor, then we can -attempt- your method. But rignt now, I would not trust our healers to be able to keep him up doing that. Not because they would not try but because they too are not that well geared yet. And thanks Holy for the advice on the weapon. Nice Huato. But your Tankadin was probably WAY better geared then ours is now. So until he is geared as well, we will have to use the old fashioned method of CC .... We always make her the first burn target. It was just that one time she got off a lucky mana burn on Illei. Which makes me think her targets for that are random. Illei had not even touched her. We usually try to CC the mobs that can dispell crowd control. which as I understand is both paladin types and the holy priest. It just makes it more stressful for our shacklers (which we have limited anyway) for them to constantly have to reshackle because the mobs are dispelling OUR crowd control. Yeah everyone has told him to change the enchant on his sword. He plans to but had hoped to get a better weapon first if there was one before sinking a ton of gold into mats for the Spellpower. He is very very close to revered with Keepers of Time and can maybe get the Milenium Blade from them?
