  1. That's awesome! I always feel bad that I can't include everyone every raid :\ And I know that a lot of those who've been signing up are A-gamers that I just can't squeeze in if I want to be consistent. *cheers*!
  2. Is there a timer that lets you know when Gruul is about to Shatter? Also, yes, Crik, I wasn't plannin on doing the pie chart group thing anymore
  3. Another thing about the intergroup buffs.. Last run the groups were sposed to be switched up after Maulgar to better enhance DPS for the Gruul fight. And I know some people say that the DPS increase with intergroup buffs is only marginal, in the length of the Gruul fight the intergroup buffs play a much larger role than in 5mans. Don't blame Baracko for not switching up the groups, I should have made the lists more clearly pronounced in my email. About the shatters. Melee DPS shouldn't be running all of the way over to where ranged is at. In fact, ranged DPS should be the farthest away from the scene (and it would be good for ranged DPS to learn the "safe spots" as shown in some of the videos Crik posted). Healers should be between the melee and the ranged, and ranged should still be closest to Gruul. I think a lot of the melee DPS have it in their heads to get farthest away from Gruul, even though distance from him doesn't matter, it's distance from the other players that matters. And I know we also may have a problem with some people not moving, and just assuming that someone is going to move away from them. Don't assume Crik, if you want to go ahead and talk to the other healers, and set up some sort of healing rotation, we should talk about that I know a lot of people just stay logged into the gruulshealing channel, myself included. I can tell you right now, I'm having to pull some melee DPSers back to doing healing/ranged (myself included). I talked to a few other guilds, and they usually do assign one person per half of the room to toss some heals onto the unfortunate DPSers or other healers that take a big shatter or can't move fast enough from a Cave In. The way I have it set up for next week is 8 healers, 4 on each side. Though I do know and understand the need for a healing rotation with the healers we have to prevent overhealing and wasted mana. We'll figure something out before Wednesday Other than that, I'm glad folks are reading up and watching videos and the like. I can't wait to get this big ugly beast down. Also, I'm glad that the group we have works so well together. I know there are a few rough patches here and there, but overall, we have both the group mechanics, and the group chemistry to pull this off. Much love!
  4. Awesome! Definitely a good read and lots of good advice. *gets to planning*
  5. I wanted to thank all the Crushers and everyone who've been so great at showing up and helping down the big ugly thing. Also, thanks for contuining to let me have the signups on the raid signups page. And a BIG congrats out to Baracko, who keeps his title of Loot Whore being the first to get a tier piece from the Lair And grats to Darkkyn for his epic win. Lots of love and hugs and <3 <3 <3!! -Amahli
  6. I'm taking my leave of the Clan. I love Clan Skullcrusher. Since I joined, the people in this guild have been family. Ya'll have been more to me than I could have asked, and I loved my time here. With BC, some things did change. And I'm not going to drag this post on longer than I have to. I'm just going to say that I found myself gravitating more and more away from the guild. Crushers will ALWAYS be family. Only now it'll be more of an extended family. You guys have my heart. If I can ever do anything, and am able to, I would gladly do it. Like a very wise Elder told me: "Good people are good people... it doesn't matter what letters are over their head." As far as Gruul's Lair goes, I will be keeping it going. Aletia is fine with me hosting it with ya'll still, and I will NEVER kick a Crusher for any bias reason. I do have to maintain a class balance still, but if someone's been loyal to the raid, I'm definitely not going to kick you. I guess that's it. I wish I coulda told everyone individually, but I didn't have that kind of time. You know how to reach me, and you guys are freaking awesome. I hate long goodbyes, so I'll depart now. Much love and hugs and XOXOXO, Amahli
  7. Couple reasons it was cancelled. First, I can never get a full raid to sign up on our Raid Signups page. So I'm stuck with wondering what the hell I'm going to do about the 5-10 people I'm missing. Will I have to replace them? Will I be able to replace them? Is it honestly that hard to click the little button to Signup? The second reason is personal, and I don't want to have to really deal with the drama of scrambling around and trying to find replacements for the people who have to leave early, or the people who don't show up at all, or the ones who cancel last minute. So I'm going to deal with my stuff, so I can deal with the raid. Should be up next week if we get enough folks signed up.
  8. Though I'd post it on here for those who don't log on WoW first.
  9. LOL But they forget about the sneaky feral droods who'd be ever so happy not to have rogues roll on feral gear. *shifty eyes* Or was it the other way around?
  10. Amahli

    Soooo???

Ah will sacrifice a Zhevra at the namin' ceremony!! *grins*
  11. Dude, it's totally worth it. I would agree it'd be unfair if we got our epic for free. It'll probably end up costing more than the 5k, thinking about the warlock epic mount quest. Apparantely to be comparible? But worth it. INSTANT shift, remember. Jump off a cliff and FLLLLLYYYY.
  12. Wait... so you can't have, for instance, the 70 mana per 5 FLASK stack with the ELIXIR of major mageblood (also a mana per 5 dealy)?
  13. I'm giving up on Stagard. Might use a mage or a shaman. Or another druid >_> Bwee hee hee.
  14. *drools* Epic flight form.
  15. I know a nice secluded cave that is somewhat difficult to get to, and we'd have to summon some lowbies if they couldn't make it through the mobs. It's where my husband's guild has their meetings, but it's a ###### and a half to get to and takes a lot of time to set up.
  16. Oooh, I know somewhere really private and fun.. Wait.. for the meeting? Nevermind. I'll be there!
  17. I'm down for tryin, Oder.
  18. ((Okay, okay, I forgot to post part two. But I had to change it because the first version I wrote didn't seem to click.)) If there was one thing Amahli hated, it was being talked down to. She wasn't a child and she was fully capable of looking out for herself. Afterall, she was Amahli Windrunner; Warmonger of the mighty Clan Skullcrusher! And she did not need a pompous, arrogant, rude, chovanistic pig acting like some prince riding in on his white horse, coming to 'rescue' her. Amahli snorted at the thought of her as a damsel in distress. Saddling her large war wolf, and waving a farewell to Garadar's stable master, the druid headed west, steering off the path and skirting the large clefthoof beasts whose leather was so highly valued. Today, however, her aim was on the ogres of the north and one in particular: Cho'war. Dangerous and deadly - especially by smell, she heard - there was quite a bounty on his head. And it'll all be mine, she grinned, thinking of the reward money. when she came upon the large mountain rumored to be home to the ogre clan, Amahli hopped off her wolf, and took to her wings. She flew the rest of the way to the upper part of the mountain, knowing where the leader would be. Landing in a small outcropping, she moved swiftly to her cat form, staying low and in the brushes and tall grass. Sneaking stealthily around the big, dumb brutes, Amahli came upon a cave entrance. This time, the druid stuck to the shadows. She did not want to be discovered until she was well away with proof of the leader's death. Passing by warlocks as swiftly as possible, she made her way to the top levels of the cave. This should be where he was located. She rounded the corner and stopped. Dead bodies, she could smell. Fresh. Ogres.. She sniffed at the air. Someone had been through here very recently. At least.. six dead ogres. no wait, 5. And fresh blood. A tauren? Hurriedly, she dashed down the stretch of the tunnel path, and could hear sounds of a battle up ahead. A canine's high yelp of pain rang out, and from behind a corner up ahead, a black-furred wolf body skidded across the dirt. As Amahli swung around this last bend, she saw Cho'war, in all his ugliness, squared off against a black Tauren, fur matted with blood. The vicious brute swung a mace at the tauren, knocking his bow aside and sending him back against the wall. Blood fell from several wounds, and the protector in Amahli flared up. Starting with a low growl and then a ferocious roar, Amahli the lion coiled up and launched herself up at the ogre, landing on his back. As no creature could tolerate the weight of a large cat clinging to its back, Cho'war hollered and tried to dislodge her. Shredding at him with her hind claws, her front claws dug into the ogre's shoulder for grip. Before she could grip her teeth around the vital lifeline in his neck, Cho'war flung himself backwards against the cave wall, smashing her between him and it. Not to be deterred, though her head rang furiously, she clung on desperately. Angrily, Cho'war spun around, unable to fling the cat off of him, who kept ripping into his flesh. Seizing an oppurtunity, Amahli sank her teeth into the thickness of his neck, jaws clenching tightly. Slowly, she inched her jaws closer and closer to his throbbing jugular vein. With a popping feeling, blood sprayed across her face as she reached her goal, and with a gurgle the giant ogre fell, Amahli sliding off before the dead body could crush her. Shaking herself off, Amahli panted for air. She shifted out of her cat form and wiped her face off, drawing upon the Earth Mother's magic to replenish and heal herself. Walking over tot he fallen wolf, the druid nudged it with a hoof. When it didn't move, she frowned and laid a hand on it, concentrating until she could hear the wolf draw a ragged breath. Satisfied, she then walked over to the wolf's master - Tabe, she recognized. How ironic, that she should save him after his supposed 'rescue' of her. Pressing two finger against his neck, she rolled her eyes. Great. His pulse was slow, which meant he couldn't move himself. She looked at the wolf, who seemed to be recovering quickly. "Yer gonna be helpin' me get him outta here," she told it sternly. Bagging thehead of Cho'war, she thrust it at the wolf. "Instead, you carry this." And Amahli set about dragging Tabe towards the cave's entrance, where she could call her Windrider to carry them both to safety. This stupid hunter was more trouble than he was worth. ***************************************** ((this part is more from Tabe's PoV)) Tabe awoke to the heat of a fire closeby. Nighttime; how long had he been out of it? He jerked upright, then groaned at the sudden movement. "Ya really shouldn't be so quick ta move. Helluva state you were in y'know," came an amused voice from across the fire. He looked over to see the tauren he'd saved the other day, fending off the wild mountain Gron. She looked scratched, but not overly damaged, he noted as he inspected her by the fire's light. Over to her side, his black wolf, Tarka, munched happily on a bone, seemingly content. Turning his look back to the tauren - Amahli was her name, now he remembered - he smiled. "Suppose I have you to thank for the valiant rescue?" Setting her shoulders back and puffing up proudly, Amahli replied smugly, "Damn right ya do. Were gettin' yer ass handed to ya, figured ah'd step in and stop the carnage." She picked up a rag sitting nearby and began polishing her armor. "Mah debt to ya's been paid, and ah profit with the reward for Cho'war's death." She motioned to a bag near her packs bulging with coin. Tabe raised as eyebrow. "Well hold on there, kitten," he started, and chuckled internally as she narrowed her eyes at the nickname. "T'be fair, part of that should go to me." Amahli snorted. "And what for? Ah coulda letcha die juss as easily, and be free and clear of this mess without ever having worried about keepin' you alive." Tabe grinned slowly and leaned forward, eyeing the other tauren over the fire. "You worried about me? Honestly, I'm touched!" Ear laid back and eyes set in a more feline glare, Amahli snapped back, "Touched in the head, fer sure! Wouldn't uh even carried you off if ah didn't owe ya!" With that, the druid stood up with crossed arms. "And a fat lotta gratitude ah'm gettin' for that!" She stomped off, muttering under her breath, heading for her tent a few yards away. He watched her walk into her tent and smiled. Somehow Tabe doubted that the druid would have let him die. She seemed to be a pain, definitely a handful, but honor seemed to rule her. He lay back onto te ground, staring up at the night sky. And she could be vicious, that much he saw while half-unconcious in the battle. Even her tauren shape echoed a feline grace; wiry muscles flexing wonderfully in every balanced step. She was wild and beautiful and untamed. The hunter shut his eyes with a grin. One thing he was taught in training was that every beast could be tamed.
  19. Aaaaaah, it's the grail XD *squees*

    Oder's rep!

Purrty is gonna get FIXED one of these days if he can't keep off me. I mean.. I know I'm superl33t and whatnot, but honestly. ;D
  21. I'm still up for Karazhan. Honestly, with the amount I'm online in general, raiding only takes up like 8% of my WoW life The rest is spent shootin the breeze in Coilfang or grinding for things while complaining about grinding for things.
  22. Kills them with cuteness! Mentioned it in my last little fic, and it spurred this creation. ((sorry for posting twice in a row. Just wanted seperate one since this is a more finished piece ))
