All I can say is lol... ;p

One thing I'm sure of: I WILL NOT be standing outside at midnight yelling geeky things at other geeks waiting for my spot in line. I'll probably pick up the game Thursday afternoon and load it up that evening. I'm planning on taking Friday off, since I only work a halfday that day anyway, and enjoying myself in the new lands assuming that they're stable. Overall, I want to get to 80 pretty quick so that I can start raiding again. However, RL being as it is, I don't think raiding will be possible till likely the first of the yearish. A month and a half will allow plenty of time to enjoy storylines and run some new instances with you all. Should things go by too fast, Ill work on that little SP of mine in the hopes that maybe one day an alt will reach top level *coughs*. I guess the beauty of being in good gear is that I dont have to worry so much about gearing myself as I go, although I think Ill have to get a new chestplate and a few other things. Rumor has it the weapons in the expansion are quite good. All that leads me to the hopes that I won't burn myself out on instances like Waldy suggests. RAWR!

I con sympathize with your frustration, Perthes. I've been having similar problems, much to the chagrin of my group members as Ive complained alot about it. My theory is that its tied to the new spell effect changes coupled with the fact that the WHOLE RAID has most of them now, vs. just a few. Ive tried shutting off/changing many addons to no avail. Many of us have also discussed that there could be more network chatter, which I think would include TS... need more input there. - Baracko

Greetings, everyone! I promised a few weeks ago when I ended the Calandor/Baracko raid that I would let you know about further plans. For awhile, I wasn't sure if I wanted to raidlead anymore and I know Cal does not. However, you all have accomplished so much and so many asked where this group would be going from here that I could not let it die ;p. That being said, I'll try to keep it going in the expansion as long as I can. I cannot promise that RL might not break me... So, here is the general outline for the new group: - I'm going to try and involve as many of the previous raiders as I can. You all have given/done alot, and it deserves some respect. Things like spec and class come into play, as well, so be understanding if you chose to make a change. I want everyone to play something they enjoy, but I also have to balance out the raid. - This group will still be focused on progression, not completing sets or RP. Open slots will involve a general tryout/application to the server hordeside, and Ill pick the candidate I feel will best suit the position. - >25 this time: Considering the need for replacements and general raid turnover, I'm going to try running with 28-30 people this time. This will allow for easy replacement and better cohesion over the long term, I think. That being said, its also going to require a bit of understanding from you. I'll cycle people in and out at first on a daily/weekly basis. As we begin to get geared, Ill cycle people out more and more on a fight by fight basis depending on loot drops and what folks need. This will require understanding and communication. This will also provide for nights off, which we all need now and then, including me. If we can work together on this and approach it as a group effort, I think we'll be able to tear through some content and each gear up accordingly. - DKP with >25: With more than 25 people, dkp will be a little more complicated. I'd like to trying having people on standby. If you are on standby, then you'll get dkp even if you aren't fighting in the raid. Standby will = being online and relatively ready to go should we need you. We'll discuss this more as we get closer. - Schedule: We're moving to three nights - T, Th, and Sunday. Why? Cause this time we won't be six months behind everyone and therefore won't have tons of guides at our disposal. Also, places like BT in TBC were not learnable in two nights. Will we always raid 3 nights? No. Will we the majority of the time? YES. Start time will most likely get pushed back a little, but if I do, we WILL NOT go over unless we're very damn close to a kill. - The Bottom Line: My feeling is that we have the talent to compete a little earlier in the raiding scene. When I say that, I don't mean that I want server firsts per say (sp). After the last expansion, we spents MONTHS and MONTHS dealing with Gruul and Mags. This caused us to be about 4-6 months behind almost everyone. That doesn't need to happen again. We have the people and the talent to move faster and more efficiently, and that's what I intend to do. ** I am not accepting any new applications at this time ** Should opening be available, Ill post something about it. Hey Raiders! I would like to get the old group together for an Archimonde kill this Tuesday starting at our old raid time of 7:30. Its anticipated that this will STILL be an EXECUTION fight!.... that being said, Im going to limit the group to our normal raid crew or people who have been there with us as alternates before. Certain classes will be necessary, like shaman for tremor. Should we find the encounter to be easier than I expect, Ill try to get another run together to help others who may not have had the experience before. Wow, how many bachelor parties/weddings have you been to in the past six months? It seems as if you are away every other weekend for one. You have no idea... As of January, Ill have been in five weddings since June and been to 6 weddings total. Always the groomsman, never the groom ;p

Hey there, everyone! As we've finished our raid pre-expo, we've been left with many patterns and items that might be of use to our guildies and alts. That being said, we'd like to give you all the opportunity to add those patterns to your collections. Im offering them at a reduced rate to make them easier to obtain than from the AH, but at a fee that still helps us build the raid bank. Patterns = 150g Hearts = 100g Total Hearts available: 30-12 = 18 Hearts remaining. Patterns Available: Living Earth Shoulders x3 Dawnsteel Shoulders x5 -1 = 4 remaining. Swiftheal Mantle x2 Shoulders of Lightning Reflexes x2 -1 = 1 remaining. Please post here with requests. On the final day of the raid, we managed to get one last new boss down... RoS!... and then half the group proceeded to port before the screenie! We also one-shotted Vashj after not being there for months, and finished some titles! We came a long way in a short time, after starting in the raiding scene a little late, clearing Gruul, Mags, SSC, TK, Hyjal, and coming pretty close on BT. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work and DEDICATION! See you in the expo! ;p

My most sincere condolences, Orcala. We may all give each other a hard time, but we're a big raiding family, and it sucks when anyone is hurt. You can go AFK as long as you like ;p We'll try to make you proud and knock down RoS this last push.

Recently, the overall THE website has been somewhat invaded by some nasty folks. That being said, Balandar has removed auto-registration for the time being. Updates need to occur to the website, but his schedule doesn't allow it till next week. If you are a newcomer, please be patient as our volunteer folks work this out! Im pretty sure I was the apitome(sp) of pathetic last night between my lack of knowledge of the pulls and general fatigue! ;p We one-shotted Teron, though... and thats always a good end to an evening!
