!!Congratulations to Lady Sindee!! She was on 3oct07 promoted to Templar Centurion. The screen shot that the GM-Picture-Elf "should" have taken, had he been on-the-ball, but as it was, he was disteracted by the fact that it was he conducting the promotion of Lady Sindee to Templar Centurion. I was however able to re-create the scene for those who missed the event.

Update: I have a DSL Signal, then I dont, then I do, then I dont...turns out it was not MY DSL that they pumped to my house....friggin riggin raggin fraggin... AND none of my neighbors have wireless going at all, so no piggy backing from the house. I still do not know when or if I will get the 6meg pipe, with free static IP, but I can taste it !!! Anyways, I came in early to work to catch up on things here, looks like: Herion is back at school, Calli is now all serious about everything, Piper and Thom both agreed to be the Purple Pair preaching praises per the Pater Imperium while parading purple petunias in paradise hehehe say that 5 times fast !!! All right funs over. Boss came in and latley he has been pimping me like a **** on nickle night.

Well, it seems that my new house will not have internet for a while....I was able to do the online order for a 6meg pipe...and when it came down to it, they dont even know if I CAN even get highspeed at this place. looking into cabe *yeck* but if they have it in the area I wil go with that. I will not be able to attend the meeting on Saturday, as I will be moving my household goods (whats left of them anyways) from SC to FL...anyone want to go for a drive and help move some stuff? ...anyone....? hmm... *grinin* I will check in as I can here at work, but so far this week has been nutso, driving to 3 different states doing installs. anyways...look for me when you least expect it !!

Hi Scryll !! (aka my hardest target in Battle) Is that particular unit on dynamic, or staic IP, rather what is the DNS server entries? Does it match the other computers in the house? An alternative to Panda, seen it, at client sites, did not particularly care for it myself, but that does not matter, what does matter is you have an anti-virus installed, and it is regularly updated. I use AVG FREE myself, been using it for years actually. Is it only browsing that is slow? or is ANYTHING online slow? ( like remote access or Hamachi or other apps/games/programs that do not interface with your browser) Have you done the delete temporary files in IE (assuminig that is what your using) and the disk cleanup on the hdd in question? Another quick thing to try is IPCONFIG /dnsflush, that MAY help, not knowing anything else about the problem...something to try anyways...it only takes 10 seconds) And yea, these posts should be in the computer help forum, but hey... It does not matter where the advice comes from, as long as it IS good advice!!! Let us know what comes of this, I would be interested to know what it is/was causing the slow down. May your bits flow freely, and quickly !!

Tomorrow, I will be headed out of town...state...and country. I plan on being back on Sept 3rd, ready for work, plus or minus some jet lag. I will not be available in game , or for that matter online. Yea I know ... this will be a major trip for me, almost 3 weeks with no internet access ( I hope I survive...ya think they would give away T-shirts for this or something now...anyways) Hold down the fort Guardians !! (castle...whatever...)

Truthfully it is not as populated as I would like....but there are still (guessing here) a few hundred loyal gamers.. So all in all there is plenty of room for Mr. Dethfyre, the Mrs Deathfyre , and as many mini-deathfyre's you care to to have... Bring the whole family!! tribe, group, or dare I say "hoarde" ?? *Grinin*

I had a Ventrillo server running for a few months, no one really used..I think Charlie and I did once..however, righht now I am not using my own bandwidth, the guy i live with is paying for it, so I am reluctant to do something like that here. I found it VERY easy to setup, even ran it as a servce, and tested it in about 10-15 minutes with no issues. One thing I do know is that if we are going to be using a VIOP program, a headset is about a reuirement..many stand alone microphones do not work well, adn there is allways background noise...anyways..

Agreed to, and in work, Xempress !! :-) On Wednesday evening, I actually recruited a new player, he filled out the online form, and herion (Thank You Sir) was able to pick up where I left off, in game. I wish I ould remember the mans name...my apologies sir, as I am sure you will in the future see this post and know I am refering to yourself...
