What policy do we want to use? I tend to: Stay mostly IC on the guild channel "/g". Use "/4" (the skullcrusher channel) as an OOC channel. I don't monitor the general channel at all - that really helped.

You can only have 2 primary professions at any 1 time, but you can drop 1 and switch if you want...or so I am led to believe.

I am happy to take on engineer soon too. I have been mailing all my skins to Ugnush, not sure how close to the top of Leathercrafter he is. Ugnush - let's figure out a transition plan. I think we want to have you able to make profitable leather armor before I drop the skinning profession.

I will be on trying to get through parts 1-4. I got part 1, but didn't have much luck with loot drops. (Then I started looking for ore in the foothills and before you know it I was smacking spiders in the Stonetalon Mountains.) Anyway, I would be up for grouping a bit tonight to try and prep for this.

I have managed to gather 1 gold (well 97 silver or something) by level 19 even after giving away all my gathered resources (ore, jewels, hides, etc.). I have held off a little in upgrading to better warrior moves...that gets expensive fast. Go to Rachet and get the giant emerald quest from a goblin standing outside just north of the pier. That one gains you somewhere around 25 silver and a 6 slot bag (soulbound).

For sanity, I will continue to send all hides to Ugnush. (Hopefully he has a few Med Leather banked.) If that isn't workable, this is gonna get complicated...

Send all skinnings (including kodo leather) to Ugnush until he screams "Unkel".

Nice - will keep looking for all ore veins. By the way...my highest DSP weapon is about 10 right now, and I have trained in almost all weapons. 1&2HD Mace, 1&2HD Sword, 1&2HD Axe and Guns. If you can craft anything that I can use (level 18 now) that does 11+ DPS, I would be grateful. Dabu!!

Another idea is that everyone could use a row in their bankbox for armor. The bank box has 6 columns and that is what you need for armor (initially anyway). Maybe Uld would get assigned "Level 8ish Warrior armor". I would gather all that up and put it in my bank. Then when we get a warrior that need level 8 stuff - BOOM - I can twink him out. Maybe I am level 20 at that time and I start saving level 18 stuff for someone. The person that got all the level 8 stuff could save it to the bank as they started leveling out of it, and hand it down again... Everyone could just do it for the class they play and then it would be easy to figure out who a new warrior should hit up for warrior stuff...one of the warriors! Mage asks mage, etc.

Anyash know if you can send a mail to "guild"? You can do that in SWG and it will send to all members of your guild. If we used that along with the shift+leftclick trick to attach info, we could mail each other our latest set up (maybe once a week). I would send a mail saying: Weapon: [Great Axe of Clomping] Helm: none Sholders: [Grulg-brand shoulders of Uberness] Chest: [soiled Burlap] Legs: [Chinsy Chain] Feet: [Winged Boots of Mercury] you get the idea...that way we could see who needs what.

I can't usually start before 7 PM Pacific on weekdays. I try to shut down at around 10 PM Pacific as well. I am also trying to juggle City of Heroes and WoW, so if we can pick a standard day for coordinated activity that would be great. Otherwise I need some advanced notice.

It is hard to use the board as a vehicle for item requests, basically you want to be in game to see what you really need. I was thinking we could set aside a time each week (Saturday morning maybe?) where there was NO QUESTING. We would all show up, higher level folks could hand down items to lower levels, crafters could make items to order, we could bring out all unused green or better magic items to see if they would get claimed or go to the disenchant bin. Anyway you get the idea - it could incorporate some kind of guild meeting and maybe a group hunt afterwords. So there is a "straw man" let's run with this and see what makes sense.

Ok I have almost scraped together 1 gold. Here's what we need for our tabard: 10 Gold = register the official SoC Tabard template. We do this once and it sets a common tabard for the entire guild. after that: 1 Gold = to buy your own, individual tabard copy to wear. Everyone will have to pay a gold to get a tabard to wear. How do we want to do this??? Send a gold each to Grulg so once he has 10 he can register? Then everyone on their own to buy a tabard for themselves?

I always make a bazillion characters and then can't figure out who to play. I am sticking with one as long as I can stand it. (Although I do have a Dwarf on Featherfall or somename for when Argent Dawn is down...)

Wool for the 8 slot bags is a loot drop off the 16-18th level Bristlebacks south of Crossroads. They drop them 1 or 2 at a time. I plan to go back there to farm wool - so anytime people are interested lemme know. I also think we could make a killing at the auction house on 8 slot bags - the vendors sell them for 25 silver. Maybe we could sell them for 15? That would help get our Tabard!!

I have definitely seen big bad lag. The NPC disappearing, only chat works, probably gettin killed by what ever you are fighting kinda lag. But it seems spotty. Should lessen as they beef up their hardware on server systems that need it.
