In guild sparring contest

OK since i seem to have about 4 ppl interested, I was thinking about a team contest. I havnt heard of any events for this Saturday, so how does 9pm EST sound?? We wil pick a place, somewhere with some sort of boundaries, in which will be called the "fair play" area. That way if members are in the realm but not willing to participate, they can be safe. One team will wear one color robe, other team another. Codex ROE applies to heals and deaths. First team to successfully kill all other team, declared winner. Im not old enough to have any good prize. But if any elder wishes to donate a pirze, that would be greatly appreciated. Leave me some feedback as to any suggestions you have, or if the time needs to be changed. -
How in Gods name do you always get to tell them this stuff before me, you know ida taken the credit for that too

I was wondering how many pll would be interested in having a sparring contest say either once a week or once a month. I am willing to put this together only if we have an adequate amount of interest. Of course the Codex ROE will be in full force. We can either have it all against all, or set it up to be one on one, whatever the group likes. Post a note here if your interested and willing to attend and have some honorable PvP action. Its just a different way to play the game and might be of some interest to the guildmembers who dont venture into Fellucca, plus this way you can experience it without the fear of lost items!! P.S. this does NOT apply to Marcas!! Happy Birthday! j/k!!

In addition to this great feat, I would like to add that Marcas also avenged a death of my miner brother Mordred by Tommy Hilfiger. He had harassed me at the mines in Trinsic. Of course i am prepared and carry nothing of worth, what I didnt like was the fact he would come back and taunt me, then run into a Trammel gate. Thank you Marcas!!!

As I spend most of time time chasing the evil doers around, im not all that familiar with the dungeons(*maybe he should start exploring his dungeon runebook*). If Destard is more agrreablewith everyone thats is perfect with me. I do have a rune there. I was thinking anyplace where we might be able to gather spined,horned and barbed would be ideal, if that place exists. Logan, thank you for your support in this endeavor. i hope we gather enough to make the guild proud. P.S. Is it just me or is Pride really HOT!!!! P.S.S. I am a writer by trade, and I swear its the new laptop, sorry for the typos!!

In speaking with the leadrship of our guild, I would like to have the Saturday Romp be a resource gathereing romp. For two reasons really: 1. To kick start our resources available for the guild. 2. Honestly my brain is fried from recent events and havent been able to brainstorm a really good RP event. Id like to gather some hides at Fire Isle, since there we can fight Drakes for horned and Dragons for barbed. If possible, Id like to start this around 7pm EST since Ill be at work and get off at 10pm any later would have me jetting out of realm to get home. If possible bring as many beetles as we can, and any necros can cast a horde minion to help also. Ill have a rune there to get us there quickly also. Let me know if this time frame is possible for you guys, if not I can try and finagle it a little bit. Being this an early romp, if any want to try something else afterwards, thisll give time for that. Leave me some responses of interest and Ill get cracking on it!!

In light of recent events, and me trying my hardest not to have my UO time end like before, I am taking a break from the realm. Ive been on continuously for about 5 to 8 hours aday since March 3, trying to gain skills and explore all the lands to be a more knowledgeable leader. That is what i would ask of a Centurion. In doing this, my hotheadedness as got the best of me. In discussing this with my wife, she suggested a lay-off. Cool down a little, and come back and attack with fury. So for the next few days, actually until the Saturday romp, Ill be out of the realm. Still on ICQ, just not in game. Steel, I will still coordinate this Sats. romp, in fact I need a hand with that if you could sometime. Please noone read into this. I am a very passionate player and sometimes, I can get quite grouchy at not being as good as others. Im not going anywhere, love this guild. See you guys Saturday!! Strength and Honor!!!!!!!

Need some advice one my last skill. hers the template so far: Necro 106 (120) Magery 100 Focus 100 SS 100 (110) MED 100 Eval Int 90 (100) Some hae suggested hiding, which i do use often. Some have suggested poisoning, which i dont know the first thing about. I have also contemplated Resisting spells also. Any suggestions??

Excellent idea!! Count me in with any help i can give. I can be of help eith necro regs if need be. As far as the checks and balances are concerned, I have a suggestion. What ever amount of ppl you have that will have access to dishing out htese items, have one be the main say, treasurer, for lack of a better word. That person would count keep the ledger on the amount of items in the chests. When items are taken out by these people, have them leave a book in the chest stating the amount taken, whom took the items, and for what reason. That "treasurer" would daily, count the items and subtract the "book" amounts. As to not have this position become cumbersome, change the "treasurer" monthly. Sound good??

I would like to apologize to Akroma and everyone else I offended. I had a very trying day before the RP event directly related to the same type of occurence that happened this nite.. My tolerance for ppl in game who do not show respect for others way of play has come to 0 (to quote the Emperor). I will NOT lay down and take it, I will NOT let them roll over me and and I will NOT shut my mouth and play dead. I do however see that my anger seems to affect the group negatively, which hurts me far more than others lack of concern for my style of play. The only solution I can think of, is when my tempers flare, back off the game, go home, and be alone. So from time to time I may not answer my pigeons, or attend group events. Not trying to be rude, trying to fingd level ground. My biggest obstacle in this game isnt money or skills, its trying to avoid what happened last time I quit. Throwing 3 Gm chars down the tubes and hurling a 2K laptop off my balcony. Im hotheaded, impulsive, and also 30 yo and too old to change. If I offend you please tell me, I am an honorable person, I will apologize, I will not hold grudges, just be patient with me, Im trying my hardest this go around. -

exactly Prom. I have them both dl as I do the same now as Logan. If not for me wanting the eye candy ever so often(love the look of dragon scale in 3D) Id prolly stay in 2D all the time. Just so much faster.

Yeah very true, Grelix. Just a note, the lag happens in cable AND T1. My fahter has T1 at his job andthe lag in rcalls and gates happens there also.

I was just curious to see who plays 3D really. I started playing AOS in 3D but the recall lag was killing me, literally. Ive since moved to 2D, and while there are thing in 3D I really liked(bigger windows for the backpacks and chest, so you can spread things out a little), I just cant see hunting in 3D anymore. Dragon armor looks viscious in 3D, looks like regular ole armor in 2D. Just wanting to see, for my own curiousity...curiosity..*looks for a dictionary*

Now before Steel and Logan come after me with pitchforks, I'm not trying to change the uniform. At least not the ceremonial uniform! I was wanting to get the guild's opinion on this. According to Rp, most necromancers dont prance(and yes, sometimes we do prance) around in gold armor, or for that matter metal armor in general. In guild events, I fully agree that to show our rank in the Empire, we should definitely wear the appropriate uniform according to rank. I believe that as evil practicers of the undead, Bone armor would be more suitable for daily wear. It truly fits to the necromancer ways. Of course in order to make this functional, it needs to be mage armor(unless your a necro warrior in which case youre not predominately csating spells all the time). Steel, Logan, Counsel, do you object to this in any way? And all guild members, if you have any suggestions, lay em on me!!

OK this time, its spined bone mage armor. Just need the helm and the arms to complete the set, anyone see these things holla at me.
