  1. Here is the picture of the giant spider, I had two people with me at this point that I had picked up at the renown wyvren spawn and well we took down a bunch of those things.
  2. Going through the Stygian Abyss was a fun but dangerous and is best done in a party, I got farther than i would have with the help of James. After I got across death hall I found a blessed item that looked like the book of truth and a throne that rose above the rest and I assumed it was the throne of the goblin king. After I relished in my victory I found out that I could have gotten through without the traps and many deaths of James. After Many Encounters with the "Sparkle Of Death" as I so deemed it, and I think James agreed with the name, We got to a very nice place that was sort of short lived because we wanted to move on to see more. I will post the giant spider picture next time I get on the beta to take the screen shot it really is huge and fun to kill. Over all me and James had a good time.

  5. Yeah but the fact that it's a group peerless kind of implies you will have help and well personally I think everyone should learn how to get the keys it makes sense and its part of the peerless.
  6. Thread revival! Fade Away, O.C. Supertones Keep It Simple, The Slackers
  7. What do you mean "move up to Dreadhorn" It is by far the most simple and if you are counting getting the keys travesty is a pain in the butt to get the red key it takes forever for the leader to spawn and he has it like once in five.
  8. Yeah when I first started UO the Killer Chicken was my hero the pinnacle of the UO griefer which was kind of what I did at the time because I never saw any of the RPers doing anything like pvp or anything that didn't annoy me at the time and lets face it I was 11.
  9. (Date May 24 Time 9:00PM) As Scarst approached the door to the last hall his fatigue was causing his vision to blur and he was having trouble walking straight and knew he wasn't going to last much longer. As he opened the door he grabbed the purple cloak and two swords from the array of weapons. As he looked over he could barely make out his opponent a man in an embroidered black robe and purple cloak and a weapon Scarst's fatigue wouldn't allow him to make out. The fight started promptly with the man lunging at Scarst with a jab at the torso. Scarst staggered wildly out of the way with little finesse. Getting a closer look at the weapon with his blurred vision noticing it was metal. He ran into attack slashing at the mans robe cutting a sleeve and being stabbed in the arm in the process he dropped the sword in his right hand as his arm dangled lifelessly. Scarst quickly regain what focus he could muster and avoided an incoming jab from his opponent and slashed his arm. The man quickly changed hands and came in for another jab this time piercing Scarst's robe and cutting his side. As Scarst took the blow he slashed across the mans chest to deliver a deep cut and backed of in pain. Nearly collapsing Scarst ran toward the man as he inadvertently ducked below a jab from the mans weapon he slashed the mans torso again and threw his sword as he ended the slash and threw a fireball into his chest. Then man pushed Scarst back and sent him rolling next to the sword he dropped Scarst grabbed his weapon and got up into a staggering stance as the man barreling towards him in a finishing jab Scarst shifted to the side and took a cut to his left side. Taking advantage of the situation Scarst slashed the man across the torso with the back of his blade falling him. Scarst stumbles into the next room and climbed the ladder that led to the honesty shrine and climbed out. He then changed his cloak and began to write a letter in his own blood. As he sent the letter off he could feel the cold air on his face and arms. He couldn't move he could just wait.
  10. (Real Date May 24rd 3:23PM) The training hall echoed with the clacking of staves hitting each other it had been at least a four days as far as Scarst could tell and he hadn't slept since he got to the temple. He was fighting the last of the acolytes when he noticed Virgil same in and grabbed a staff. Scarst finished his battle with a swing of the staff to the side of the acolytes torso as Virgil walked to the center of the hall and stood waiting. Scarst walked over and took an awkward stance that looked clumsy and ineffective, and motioned for Virgil to attack, Virgil came at Scarst and jabbed at his limp stance expecting to disarm him only to have his staff thrown back at him as Scarst released his staff from his right hand and swung it into Virgil's jab and sent it back into him making Virgil take a step back Scarst quickly grabbed the staff of an acolyte and held both like makeshift tonfa in his hands and charged at Virgil swinging his right staff around in his hand to keep Virgil's staff out of his way Scarst swung his left staff at Virgil's face but before it hit Virgil dropped his staff and stopped Scarst's left staff from landing the blow and yanked it from Scarst's hands and took it into position. Scarst grabbed the staff he still had left with both hands and the battle started again as they traded blows for five minutes when Scarst realized something and stepped back. Virgil taking the offensive lunged at Scarst with a swing and as he got close Scarst smacked the top of the staff Virgil was holding and as it slid down through his hands Scarst aimed a jab at his chest and dropped Virgil to the floor. As Scarst took three steps back Virgil got up and grabbed another staff to make sure what had happened couldn't happen again. Scarst quickly threw a slew of fire balls at Virgil as he deflected the fireballs Scarst made his final move he charged at Virgil and went into an all out offensive backing virgil into the wall right under script that read in the language "Do not start fights in buildings not your own" and ended the battle with a smack to Virgil's throat with the staff. Scarst walked towards the exit to the next taking off the blue cloak and putting it in his bag with his green one as he walked into the hallway.
  11. Scarst looked at the room full beaten men and the empty seat at the end of the training hall and walked to the exit muttering "Making me fight my own hall.". As he walked through the door he dropped the sword and started door the hall walking for a good fifteen minutes before entering the next hall. As he opened the door He looked into the room full of men with staves with black robes and blue cloaks and the walls littered with writings he was all to familiar with in the language only the templites could understand, it was the book of rules, as he grabbed a blue cloak and staff he was quickly assailed by three of the men and quickly surrounded. He put on the blue cloak and got into a readied stance and was quickly assaulted by all three men they pinned him against a wall in a defensive stance and started reigning blows on him which he tried to block to no avail. He started taking the beating of the three men and knew he would be awhile in this hall. Virgil woke up the second day in the cell bored and knowing he'd be in for another round of questioning and bad food. He continued to survey the cell he was in until he saw a hidden dagger another prisoner must have left at that point he knew exactly how he would get out when they were done questioning him and he would make his escape back to the temple to finish his job, but in the meantime he thought to himself, " I don't mind making him wait.", as he laid in the cell bed.
  12. Scarst woke up in the temple infirmary knowing what he had to do and determined to finish it off in less than a week. He turned from the bed and grabbed the sword that was left for him by the other healers and headed out into the hallway. After fifteen minutes of walking he finally got to a large set of doors which he abruptly kicked open then in the training hall were the rest of the acolytes designated to his level. He quickly grabbed a black robe and a green cloak and put them on and pointed to the first five he saw in the room. The five men came over and drew there swords and surrounded him. He had begun the first step of his training. Virgil arriving back at Scarst home immediately noticed the gate they had put over the door he had crumbled. He knew he would find someone near the tavern that he could talk to and hopefully explain what was going on. On arriving at the tavern he was quickly arrested as he knew would probably happen and was fully prepared for memorizing his spell for escape and putting his book in a safe location only carrying his staff and the book of rules he always carried with him knowing that it might help. After being questioned for awhile he was left in his cell which he took his time surveying. Scarst knew he'd have to finish the other acolytes off quickly if he wanted to move on the the next hall before he had to sleep so he decided to challenge five at once. As the battle began he lunged at the man in front of him expecting to be blocked so he could break the flank they had around him as he was about to strike another acolyte blocked Scarst's sword and threw him back into the middle. Getting up Scarst knew they has teamwork on there side and he would be at a disadvantage so he quickly threw a fireball ball at the man who blocked him knowing they would dodge and took the opening to strike down his partner with one strike and leaving the center. He turned to the remaining four studying them for a moment and quickly decided to go for the tallest one, they were about 6'3" with a muscular build and long blonde hair tied back, he quickly swept at his torso being blocked by two blades he stepped back and lunged at him again this time breaking through both blocks and began reigning blows down on the man until he fell. Scarst quickly picked the mans sword in his right hand and turned to the partners of the two men who he had already stuck down with a grin on his face and ran towards them as they both backed away not knowing what to do as they watched him get closer they got into defensive stances. Scarst ran with swords crossed ready to parry incoming blows and strike down both with two strikes each. The two both took swings which he easily blocked and proceeded to take them both down. As he turned to the remaining man he dropped the sword in his right hand and charged haphazardly towards him with reckless abandon knowing nothing would stop him from taking this man down. The first five finished he looked at the rest of the room of at least fifty more acolytes he would have to face.
  13. It was the evening and Scarst was going through his some looking for equipment when his door opened. He instantly knew they had come he just didn't know who exactly it was going to be. As the door opened he saw one of hi old masters Virgil Macarius and he knew exactly what was going to happen next. Scarst grabbed his robe and cloak and and opened up the second door as Virgil followed him in. He dropped all but one sword in a chest and locked it and proceeded to put on the robe and cloak. He then signaled to Virgil he was ready without a word Scarst ran at him with his sword drawn knowing his first strike would be blocked before he even picked which spot he would strike at. Virgil blocked with his staff and threw the blunt end of his staff at Scarst chest. The fight when on for hours destroying the room and and spilling the blood and sweat of both mean before any headway was made. After both mens robes were torn up they both took a step back and a quick breath and got into readied stances. Scarst and Virgil both tore off their tattered robes and cloaks throwing them to the ground knowing that neither would help anymore. Virgil made the first move sweeping at Scarst's side with his staff as Scarst barely avoided it he shot a series of fire balls at Virgil which were dodged as they scorched the floor and Virgil took the opportunity to get behind Scarst and get a series of blows to his back watching as Scarst fell from a combination of exhaustion and and beating he quickly picked up the torn up disgarded robes and cloaks and stuffed them in his bag and pulled out a change of cloths for himself. After Virgil got cleaned up he was tasked with the job of notifying Scarst employers of his leave. Virgil quickly examined the doors and and pushed on them with his staff and channeled an explosion into each of the doors crumbling them both and causing a loud boom. He then waiting out side of the broken door with scarst unconscious waiting for someone to come so he could tell them what was going on. Finally, a woman came and as he tried to explain a she attacked so he had no choice but to leave without giving an explanation. He would have to come back to answer there questions.

  15. I'm just going to say this IC and OOC are two different things and while my character Scarst may act more like myself than my other characters he is not me and I RP him as being a jerk it's not targeted at any one person in particular if it were Thom dead floating around i would have done the same thing except Scarst knew Thom and probably would have tried to exorcise him and I'm only using Thom as an example. It would have been out of character for Scarst to have been nice to an undead which ghost, spirit, zombie, vampire all fit the definition of. (bad sentence structure sorry) I guess it will be one of those things you will have to live with because an apology IC is something you wont get and I don't see anything OOC that I've done wrong. Please if I've insulted you OOC tell me and I will see what I can do about it. Otherwise leave petty IC stuff alone, it just causes headaches and I know I can be accused of getting mad when people break RoE but we all have flaws and we should all try to work on them.

  19. Personally I'm not the one that asks people to stay but I don't think you should leave either. It's better to talk things out trust me it helps in the long run.
  20. Honor is actually broken mine is stuck at the second level with 6 dots to go and wont go up or decay it's nice but would have been nicer if it would have been stuck at knight as for virtue it flucuates because I use it and compassion I would but you have to do 5 a day to get it up. and everyone knows i have knight in sacrifice that I constantly maintain. As for justice I'd rather get it legitimately.
  21. * Looks at the note and starts to grin as he reads it* *Says to himself "This is going to be fun" as he plays with his sword sheathing and unsheathing it and walks away leaving the note where he found it*

  23. Hold up first How did this thread become revived without me noticing until now. [Parts of this post were removed for forums infractions. Please read the PM in your box. Thank you.] Third can you list which guilds are going to start wearing gm only armor for RP so if there in a robe so I don't keep on my regular armor and smash them into the ground and we should have a list like hanging somewhere in the boards to be amended when more guilds start doing it or stop doing it.
