just out of curiousity, what are the skulls from each of the champs labeled as? I've been seeing skulls of greed and the occasional skull of power on vendors and was wondering where they come from and which ones i should keep an eye out for (saw a skull of venom locked down at someone's house too )

Im EXTREMELY slow at looting my corpse and have lost so much over the years because of it, but cant find this fabled program anywhere  *laughs*    

i got a scorpion-infested workshop in the desert now that's perfect for planning assassinations

the term cohort is used only for legion units, and since (if i understand correctly [it's very late and im tired]) the sage group would be strictly non-combatant, it may need a different name

A shadowy figure sat motionless on a treebranch high above the park in Trinsic.  Below him lay the corpse of a young woman who couldnt have been dead more than a couple of  minutes prior, and yet there was no sign of the killer other than a feeling that something wasnt quite right here.  The man chuckled wryly as he surveyed the scene, remembering that he had just recently retired from this sort of work.  Just then he realized what was wrong with this picture:  bloodstains on the victim's collar, but no blood spilling from her body.  Hearing an approaching guard patrol he leapt to the nearest rooftop and vanished into the night in search of answers.

Well, we all know basically what the House of Espionage is supposed to be in an RP sense, but what I've been trying to come up with over the past year or so is how it all works OOC with all the game mechanics,  rules of conduct, etc.  The name implies functions of spying and sabotage, but I've yet to figure out how to actually do these things in service to the empire without destroying the guilds reputation both IC and OOC in the process.  To make matters worse, there's the issue of who the house would have to target now that we're no longer at war with anybody (for purposes of this discussion wars against NPCs like Lord Blackthorn and such dont count since they cant exactly be infiltrated).

The only activity I've seen discussed regarding the House of Espionage that can and will be effectively used in service to the empire is the task of picking locks on treasure chests found by treasure hunters and fishermen.  While I agree that lockpicking is a good skill for someone interested in espionage, if that's all we do to fit the title are we really any more than just glorified locksmiths?

When I went to sleep at the shrine of honor a few months back I didnt plan on returning, so I got rid of everything I had first.  Now Im back and in the market for a new house so that I can satisfy my need to say 'I wish to lock this down'.

I'd be more than happy to dig one up for you if you have a pickaxe to do it with and can keep the buggers off me  

I've got grandmaster mining that I used to use to lend credibility to my disguises and would love the chance to use my skills in service to the empire.

Now if we can just get the last Senator position filled and buff up the ranks of some of the houses I think we are sitting pretty for the release of AoS

I found this one very easy to use.  It may be a good idea to run a comparison between gamevoice and roger wilco as to how many people a server can accomodate, ease of use, and quality

I've decided to take up mining in order to rebuild some small measure of what I once had, but need a place that I can store shovels and pickaxes and ingots that arent quite ready to go to my vendor.  The type of house and the facet it's on mean little to nothing to me at this point.  The only concern is cost since I gave away all my gold before leaving and will need to scrape together a bit of cash.

Any help finding a cheap house near mountains would be much appreciated   :biggrinSmurf:

Still trying to work out my schedule to where I can get on UO enough for it to be worthwhile.  Got a new job, officer positions in two guilds on two servers of Dark Age of Camelot, and a long distance relationship that Im working hard to remove the long distance from.  I see many great things happening with this game now and best of all PGoH still going strong, so Im gonna do my best to make this work.

I'd like to thank everyone in PGoH for making my time on UO interesting and helping me realize the fun of roleplaying in games like this.  I havent been around much lately because Im playing Dark Age of Camelot a whole lot now, so I figure it's time I cancel my account and save some much needed money.  My villa has been sold to an old friend.  All rares have been donated to the museum in Safe Haven.  All that's left is to click the "cancel billing" button (one of the hazards of being a roleplayer is that I can't bring myself to sell the account and let some stranger play those characters).  I think I'll log out at the shrine of honor before I go....  for old times sake

The day this empire fights without ROE will be the day I:

1) burn down my villa

2) lay down my blades and become a warlock  

3) get really reeeeally drunk

4) execute whoever caused the war to have no ROE

5) oops....   number 3 is already a common occurence
