this morning i completed my necromancer spellbook and locked it down on a secure floor of my new house...

when i came back just now i found that it now has ZERO spells!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finished my necro book

it would be interesting if they added a bless type spell for chivalry that could be found through completing a quest or something

so far i've found them on imps and liches.

both can be killed pretty easily using an armor piercing attack.

imps seem to drop scrolls a bit more but that's probably because they dont drop weapons and armor like liches do

found all of them except Curse Weapon, Vampiric Embrace, and Blood Oath

im trying to assemble a spellbook before i start working on my necromancer.

any help would be much appreciated

thanks to Balandar and Martok for gating me around and running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to find me a spot to place and for finding me a nice 14x18 spot inside our city AND for logging my character on to place it when, despite me targetting exactly where it had been tested successfully, i was unable to place

and thanks to Darwin Darksong (he's baaaaaaaack!) for coming out today to help me move all my junk from my old, scorpion-infested workshop to the site of my new, totally awesome house

to enter the pyramid go up the south side where the sand goes up to almost the top level of it.

once you're as high as the sand will take you, go to the east side and climb the crumbled stairs that run from south to north along the wall. That'll get you up to the roof where you'll find a dark hole to jump into.

use extreme caution at the pyramid. The army of the sands still has two of our people captive (if they still live) and after all this time none of our search parties have returned.

1) locked down plants cant be accessed

2) stackable items that are locked down can no longer be added to by dropping on the stack

3) DO NOT BUY "a metal box"!!! It is no longer rare. Strongboxes can be converted into one by changing the security level on the box and then saying "i wish to release this"

4) these converted metal boxes are buggified when you lock it down it acts like a secure, but apparently doesnt count toward total secures

5) to stop it from telling you what EVERYTHING is and to get rid of that little square button thing that seems pretty much useless go to the bottom of the mouse menu in the options menu (Cheblis found this one)

6) apparently regardless of stats real skill = usable skill. There's no more use for the "show real" button because real is all ya get

even within the city of Britain in TRAMMEL there was such a sense of adventure

so rather than having to find the spot and then go back and buy a deed for the right size plot we just buy a placement tool and set the size on site?

dont just click again when you want to throw.

click the second time when you want to start pulling your arm back to set the spear's trajectory then release the mouse button when you're as close as possible to the rocks (without crossing them of course) and the spear is at a good angle for maximum range (i think around 42-47 degrees is ideal)
