As of this morning's maintenance, the fixes announced last week are once again active on the Great Lakes shard. This publish includes the following changes: Fixed a problem that was causing too much data to be sent to the user. This fix will greatly reduce lag for players on dial-up connections! The Harrower will now perform its drain attack. We’ve added a fix that should prevent players from experiencing the “blackholing” issue. Pre-AoS items that add to stats will no longer add those stats permanently to characters, but will lose their bonuses after the charges run out. Characters who die while in monster form will no longer be lootable. The Doom boss gauntlet should now re-set itself correctly. Houses that have been re-possessed by an in-game support rep (in the case of a player being taken to jail, for instance) will now be able to be transferred back to the player. Fixed another issue causing some teleporters and doors to become static and unusable (note that this fix is separate from another door fix published last month!) Locking down an overweight container will no longer cause “locked down!” barks to appear. The House Placement Tool no longer thinks it’s a spyglass. Fixed a crashing issue Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we hope to publish these fixes to all remaining AoS-enabled shards beginning with the North American shards late Monday evening CST, to be active Tuesday morning, CST.

Is there anyone at all that is still homeless? Wolf passed the Northern Outpost in Novitus to me so I have a home 8X8 I think in Tram desert going poof unless someone can use it.

When we get involved in a new game, when do we start looking into forming a presence there? I have seen a decent amount of interest in RoT and many guilds have already formed. Some of them have become downright huge, including the Bloodclaws. I have already become quite the enemy to this guild, so keep that in mind lol. Sorry, but I cant stand idle when a bunch of smelly orcs talk about how good Elves taste

Recall/gate have been getting very laggy lately, so its not just you. On a side note. I set Skara Brae as my default rune in my book to use Sacred Journey. If I recall by opening the book, I arrive in Skara as I always have. If I use Sacred Journey on the closed book, I end up in Skara Brae, Felucca lol. Figure that one out heh

Last night we encountered this same thing killing rotting corpses in Ilsh. 3 of us, ungrouped, were all shootong them. Every 5-6 kills I couldnt loot, even tho I hit him no less than 6-7 times each kill. *shrugs*

I got stuck 'volunteering' to do some things at the office today, so I wont be home until 6'ish CST now. Lets move this to next weekend. I will get with everyone early in the week and figure out the best day/time combo so we can pund some out. I'll get with those that have maps to throw into the cause as well and get those in the mix. For next weekend I will scout out 7-8 map locations, get them in order and mark runes to the spots so we can steamroll thru them As far as loot goes. I propse we donate all monies and gems earned to the Empire. The rest can roll dice to get a pecking order, drop it all on the ground and choose away. The one courtesy I ask, is please dont grab the nicest item for the sake of getting the nicest. Please grab the nicest you or a family member will actually use

For raising skill, grab a spot, cast 10-15 times, then move 5-6 tiles and repeat. For pulling up chests from MiB's, you have to repeatedly cast in the EXACT spot until u pull it up.

Beginning next month we will be hosting monthly Catskills-wide events. In doing the archery tournament a few months ago, I was seriously bitten byt he event bug , so its time to get going with some continuity. In April, we will be having a good, old fashioned Scavenger Hunt! I will need help from as many people as possible the night of the event (TBA), so if you would like to help, time permitting depending on its schedule, please let me know. Now ... There are two different ways we can go here. 1 .. Everyone is given a list and a time-frame to gather items from that list, returning the items to the 'judge'. Scoring would be x # of items in x amount of time or a point total for each item in x amount of time. 2 .. Everyone is given a book with a clue. That clue leads to the next person that gives them a book. And so on and so on until soeone reaches the last person and turns in all the previous books to claim victory. Which do you think is better to go with and why? Any other ideas, suggestions are more than welcome! Also, in the plans thus far are this event, another archery tourney down the road, the Great Race, perhaps a battle royale of sorts. We need ideas for more events, so get those thoughts and ideas rolling. I deally we would have 12 different events. However, 6 really good events done twice each per year (every 6 months) would work as well Well, what do you all think?

Making with gold, regardless of the hammer used, results in 40 luck. Using a runic hammer gives you a chance to add other benefits, but only 40 luck. Player made armor cant be enhanced any further. The way tog et the high end luck items is to get a piece of loot as treasure that already has high luck on it. Bring that to a smith for enhancement. By adding gold tot hat piece, you get the additional 40 luck. This comes with a decent chance of it getting destroyed in the process tho, so take that into consideration when you ask someone to add gold to that 76 luck armor piece hehe.

I've tried raising lockpicking. Its just horrible heh. 89.7 and SLOWLY but surely gaining. Valshea will be GM'd well before me tho

I have a bunch of good maps. I know others have a ton of them as well. Whos up for knocking out some of them, maybe 5-6 or more if we are having a good time. My lockpicking is still lacking, so we would need a GM lockpicker, but I can decode any map. Gold and gems would be donated to the Empire. Items would be scrapped if crap, but distributed among those that participate of decent. Anyone up for this, maybe Saturday afternoon sometime?
