Got lucky and got into a few. Keep myself visible on the various boards and always use the same name/sig. Now it seems I'm on a pretty good list somewhere. I was invited to be an official beta tester for Atari as well (cant even remember asking for that one) and I'm 'supposedly' going in with the next wave of testers in a couple weeks for Horizons We'll see tho. Everything they send me is kinda weird *shrug* If they ask me to test any single player games, T3:War of the Machines and Deer Hunter 4 are slated, I may ask for someone else to. I just dont have time

I want to thank you all for the kind words. It was a very tough decision for me, but the right one at this time for me personally. As I stressed to everyone on my last night in the realm, I have left UO, but forever remain part of this Empire. The items I passed on .. I was VERY glad to do this. It never makes any sense to me when people just cancel an account with the items on their characters and in their banks. I mean, I know Lukkan is going to put all those necro regs (thank you Lich Lords) to excellent use for the Empire. Akroma did not already have a home in Novitus, but does now. Logan is the oroud owner of a true 'A Ship Model' Many items were also added to the stockpiles for other members to use. This was all my absolute pleasure to give and leaves an impact a little farther than my playing time. Bottom line everyone .. UO and the Empire are the most endearing times I have had online. I will miss it all and all of you. I am still around though The beta for Realms of Torment is going along VERY nicely and I will keep you all as updated as I can. Looks as though it will be released around the same time as Horizons, if I remember right. Those that do not care for PvP, go there. Those that like the way UO was before Trammel will want to take a very hard look at RoT though. Its going to be just that, but with REAL consequences for murder. It can get as bad as NPC's actually being dispatched to hunt you down and kill you lol. Be well my friends ! We will see each other again at some point. Of this I am absolutely certain !

Well everyone, my time has finally come. I said about a week ago that I would be leving this realm. Since then I have tried to find a reason to stay other than all of you. Alas, I just cant seem to do it. While I will be leaving UO, I am in no way leaving the Empire I'll still be around on the site and we will all meet up in #insert next game name here# down the road. I do want to thank everyone for my time in UO these past years. It has been an HONOR and a privelage being a part of the best guild on this planet, in my opinion. I will be getting with some of you tonight or tomorrow so that I may transfer over many items and my money so that it may serve the Empire. Also, is there anyone with a slot to take on my home within Novitus? It is 10x13 I believe.

It hasnt changed. If you pay for amonth today and cancel tomorrow, you cannot log in tomorrow night. I know this from experience. They wouldnt give me the credit back or a refund when I called either, even tho it showed that I canceled the day after I paid for a month (I didnt want recurring billing on the card I used) which is pretty lousy. I have come to the decision that I will not be letting them hit my card any longer. I am due to renew in about a week, so I will be getting with some of you to pass on my home in the city and many items that can still serve the Empire.

I signed it, but I dont see it helping unfortunately. I know i for one am very very close to giving up on them. Thinking it over now, but you all will be the first to know which side of the fence I fall on.

Its not a joke. The most talented Devs of OSI have not been linked to a single UO project for over a year, yet they are still there. Obviously they have been hard at work on something Winter: Dont worry about that. The problem they are running into with UO nowadays is that its just soooo old. Everything they add has to go thru 3-4 times the crap as it did 5 years ago. The servers are grinding thru so much more data now, yet its still doing it the same way it did at the start. Only thing thats changed is better hardware, but they cant change the base design of the game, which is now outdated for what they want it to do. The one thing I know is this ... If they come out with a UO that stays true to the principles UO was founded on (skill based, TONS of tradeskills) and are able to add a 3rd or 4th generation graphics system, fix PvP, and add at least 5-6 races t choose from, if not more, count me in as preordering and loving it! Only time will tell.

Well, seeing as we are reverting back to the same tired bull###### once again I am taking a break. I will not be logging in for the next few days or so. It is becoming increasingly less fun to do so, as I have to hear squabbling all the friggin time. I just need to take a step back for a few. Be well my friends !

Stargate SG-1 is one of only 4 shows that I cannot miss. Farscape, which came on with it on Fri night has been 'cancelled', but I'm holding out hope it comes back with the way they 'ended' it. Buffy is ending as well. Down to 2 now. Stagate SG-1 and Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO.
