**************Vrugz Version at the bottom************ Looks the Curse, UI.WorldofWar, and WowInterface sites are holding up fairly well to the onslaught. Curse has posted a list of known WoW 2.0 compatible addons with download links http://wow.curse-gaming.com/en/files/3/wor...raft-2-0-0/ You will see Decursive and Detox in this list, don't get too excited though. You cannot target them from the list or decurse/demagic from the addon either. All these versions are able to do is show you a list of the debuffed members of the raid/party. Highlighting debuffed party/raid members is already a part of the default ui, and just about any other player or party frame addon as well. I'd only recommend downloading it for class/raid leaders that don't normally keep the 40 person raid list displayed, and just want a basic list of who is debuffed. CT Mod and CT Raid Assist users Updated versions are posted on the CTMod official site http://ctmod.net/ Just an FYI though, the version of ctmod on their site is missing quite a few of the default ui addons. The authors are still working on the remaining addons and updated versions will be added back into the downloads section as they are completed. CTRA has been updated to work with WoW 2.0 All the pre-existing features are still present. CTRA 2.0 and the new features it will bring with it, are still a few weeks from being completed. So it may not be a bad idea to keep checking back at their home page periodically for updates. The main page for WowAce appears to have buckled under the load. However their SVN and Release servers are still up. It's not pretty but it will get you to the files you need. The patch due this Tuesday Dec 5th brings with it a lot of changes. The new talents and abilities will take some getting used to and the new arena system is a fun and exciting addition to the current PvP content. For addon and macro users, the content changes are just the beginning. There will be some addons that will be irrevocably broken, and some new macro functionality added that has a lot of promise. To help ease the transition on patch day, I have been gathering and testing WoW 2.0 compatible versions of some of the more popular addons and come patch day I will be posting links to verified working copies. --Ghules

http://www.fraps.com/ and http://www.planetgamecam.com/ Both have free "demo" versions. Free version of Fraps is pretty much the same as the registered version except it will only allow you to record 30 sec clips. But you can record multiple 30 sec clips. GameCam's Free version doesn't allow you to record sound, all other features are pretty much the same, but has no recording time limits. As far as the products themselves. Fraps is the most popular by far. Fraps captures tend to be much higher quality because it captures the raw video/audio. The downside is the files can be huge depending on how long you record, whether or not you re-encode it later, etc. Price: $37 for Registered version GameCam files are usually much smaller out of the box because it encodes/compresses the video as it records it. There is no "raw" capture option available with GameCam unfortunately This means you lose some quality right out of the box because of the compression process, but it saves you the trouble of compressing/re-encoding it later if that's something you were planning on doing anyway. Price: $24.95 for the Registered version or $9.95 for the "Lite" version which is just a few less bells and whistles than the regular version. --Ghules

BG changes are in the next patch, yes. Factions being wiped no. You still keep your rep levels with the faction, at least from what I've seen on the PTR, however all honor totals will be wiped and you can no longer acrue ranks. --Ghules

I pulled the link to the forums that was originally in this post. Seems either Blizzard had Filefront pull the link or Filefront did it of their own accord. In other news....the next piece of the upcoming patch is already out. This one is roughly the size of all the previous patches rolled into one. 468 meg From my understanding of it though, this is pretty much all the goodies the expansion has to offer, so in theory come Jan 16th, all you may have to do is punch in your upgrade code for your account and you're good to go. No installing from cd's necessary. Again, nothing confirmed but there have been some blue posts hinting strongly at this. Although I wouldn't be surprised if there was another small bugfix patch before then, depending on when this patch actually goes live. Currently I'm at 400 of 468 meg now right now. I'll look into getting access to some high bandwidth storage and try to get it posted for download sometime Friday night. --Ghules
