OK when you change the passwords

::boggles:: we havent changed the password in a while - at least I dont THINK so

And you have any idea how hard it would be to IM everyone :)

Will try to remember to send you the password since you are complainin ::noogie::

Since a lot of people check the forums by just doing the 'all new posts' dealy, they wouldn't realize that they were missing any messages, since they wouldn't see messages from the protected forum if the password had been changed without their realization.

In addition, if you use the 'view new posts' button a few days after new posts have been made, then the posts will not be counted as new anymore, and will not show up in your search.

Therefore, if the password is changed and a general post made about it, and someone hasn't checked the forum in a few days, then they can easily be left in the dark.

Conclusion: Qiris's gripe is not without merit! :)

.. look I have the only solution to this problem.. from now on when you decide to change the password just post the new password in the passworded forums! that way only members with the passwords can get the new ones..

... ... .. .

an yes.. thats a joke =P
