  1. I'm sure I could dust off one of my many alts for an occasional foray. I will say this, I use Saturday evening's currently as farming time, so If I've had a rough week and don't feel like being responsible (i.e. in a group) then I'll be farming. But on good weeks I'm all for some evening raids.

  2. Hey all Hunters,

Please bring an extra pair of boots tonight so we can get a run speed enchantment on yours also. I'll be bringing plenty of mats for the enchantment so just worry about some boots. There's a great pair from Anvilcrack, I believe, that provides +2% dodge, I would recomend those if you have them, or getting them sometime in the near future if you don't.

  4. Hey All,

Just wanted to chime in here with a bit of info and a suggested Strat on Panther.

First, having reached EX with the trolls I can tell you: You never stop getting rep from Trash mobs...all the way to exhaulted. So, now that the quest turn ins no longer require coins or bijios feel free to turn them in at any time, it all ends up being the same.

On Panther. The Monday night group I go with does the following: We put a tank in each of the panther pens, it is their job to hold the panthers in. We place a healer (usually a shaman) to either side of the gong (just outside the alcove) to heal the Panther cage tanks. A third tank is responsible for grabbing Arlock when she appears/reappears. Everyone else is full dps on Ar, using the down time to clear any lose panthers. Hunters are usually on the look out for loose panthers that have snuck out and are on the Cage tank healers. It is important that anyone that gets marked moves to the far end of the room from the gong as quickly as possible. It usually takes us about three/four apparences to take her down, then mop up any panthers. Arlock likes to spawn near the gong and jump for a healer so keep an eye out. Aoe Fear capable folks also help to CC any leaked panthers.

    Good luck to you all.

  5. This raid is intended to be short in time needed. Each week we will activate up to three Greater Windstones, one at each camp. They have a two hour respawn timer so there's no point in hangin out to do more then three.

Loot is simple, The scepter goes to the person who provided the mats. Purples are Rolled for on a need basis. If by chance no one actually needs, the Nexus crystal will be Raid rolled (multiple rolls if it should shard into multiple crystals). Blues will follow the samer pattern: Need roll, then Raid roll for Shard(s). Anything else roll greed. ( I reserve the right to alter this if something funky drops, e.g. a book).

Because you have to be revered to activate the stone only a few individuals can currently do so. BUT, if you provide the mats (Ring, medallion, Cloth set) to activate a Greater Stone then it's your scepter.

To make a Twilight Cultist Ring of Lordship:

Three Abyssal signets(*) and 5 Large brilliant shards

To make a Twilight Cultist Medallion of Station:

3 Abyssal crests and one large brilliant shard

Remember, to activate the stone, the Bearer must have a Medalion, A ring, and a cloth set.

So even if you don't have the rep yet, you can still farm the mats for a ring anf have someone activate teh stone for you.

We will make a go of it if we reach at least 30 people. And since we are in the neighborhood some weeks may start off with a summons and kill on the Emissary for those of you with the quest.

  6. Speaking of which, are there any pre reqs for AQ20? If not I may sign up for the sunday raid. Enquiring minds want to know.

I would say there is one minor requirement, won't keep you from getting in teh instance but makes surviving teh second boss easier. During teh second boss fight, you see, there is an NPC that gives out a healing buff, 200 per tick, but you only get teh buff if you are at least Friendly with Cenerion Circle. Will not being friendly keep you out? nope (or more directly that's Criks call for teh good of teh riad) but being friendly certainly will help you during the fight.

  7. As you can all see from teh sign up we are short mages. If anyone has a friend (or is willing to bring an alt) we have two slots left that I would love to fill with mages. Should everything go well and we make MajorDomo with time it will be very important to have 4 mages for teh known strategy.

  8.

Glad to hear from you old friend. Whatever time you make for the game will be plenty just knowing your still out there.

See you then, whenever it may be,

  9. I checked it, but it doesn't look like Amule has been updated since the 12th. Hint hint ;)

Hint noted, will update tonight first thing.
