    I managed to attend the Thursday nite hunt.  While we didn't find the heart we did find our deaths!

    So it goes sometimes, at least I know the sacrifice virtue works.

    Also personal thanks to fing for managing to kill the Wyrm on top of the stalagmites so we couldn't loot it!  :laugh:  I just *know* that was the one with the heart!

    Good job to all involved - especially sorry for Mindy who lost 2 mares in the process.

    Groovy - can we set-up stockpiles somewhere where everyone can add?  I *think* a person can still add objects to a locked down pile without being friended to the house in question.  Or we could have a secure to friends container somewhere around olympus (as I presume the crafters will need a way to access the raw materials).

    It would certainly give my brother more incentive to get out there and mine again.  Nothin' cooler than building a big horde of resources and then pickin up a new blade for your troubles!

    Taming: Good

    Barding: Finally, the economy is pretty much shot thanks to Bards, Tamers, and Duping anyways - but its a step in the right direction.

    Earthquake: Don't care

    Felucca Dungeons:  Great!  I can't wait to get in on a big group hunt of the champion.  Irritating to lose an entire feluccan dungeon rune library, however.

    Plate AR Changes: Don't care, but seems necessary for warriors to survive with all the hard-hitting melee monsters OSI sems to want to add.  They should add a monster that is fairly weak to melee but does tons of damage to mages. (Something like Golems, for example).

    GGS: GREAT idea.  So much better for my style of play (as you all know I never macro or even really play with a goal of skill increase).  

    Skill / Stat Scrolls: Groovy

    Tailoring BOD: Groovy

    Summoning:  I'll live with the control slots in exchange for the very very increased power of our summons again!  Finally able to have a decent ally.

    Ethereal Mount Summoning Delay: BULL####.  Shouldn't change 3RD YEAR REWARDS like that....

    Eval/Anat:  Works great for Liz - I can drop wrestling (no more stun punch, however) and pick up some other fun skill TBD.

    Macing: BULL####.  They only thing macing had anymore was armor damage, and now they nurf it so people don't lose armor?  What with Valorite plate being like Invuln armor, it would do the economy well to lose armor more frequently

    Housing Changes:  Somewhat disappointed - I was interested in playing Siege someday, but now I can never hope to own a home there and on Cats.

    Wolf's mind probed...

    We managed to capture Wolf and after great effort perform a spell of mind probing.  Wolf revealed he was being controlled by the Lord of Magic.  He indicated that we needed to break the spell, and burn the lair of this Lord of Magic.  Before his mind was usurped he urged us to get this message to you and seek your guidance.

    How can we break the spell on Wolf and Destroy the Lord of Magic and his Lair?

    Many of the legion have been brainstorming all night as well - perhaps you could meet with us and help!

    I have currently imprisoned Wolfs soul to keep it safe from the Lord of Magic who seeks to destroy it forever!

    Aid us, Emperor!

    I would assume it would be at least an ROE type fight.  

    Personally I am not interested in another guild war at this time.  Not being able to be healed/ressed/etc by non-guilded blues is a hinderance with the current attacks by monsters on the empire.

    Irksome tasks and weighty responsibilities

    I just wanted to post a congratualtory notice to a few Warlocks for their excellent work.

    First, Thiork gathered 222 fried lizardman hides.  These Lizardmen were killed *exclusively* by the flamestrike spell - thus purifying the hides and increasing Thiork's magic skills.  Thiork recieved a full spellbook for his reward.

    I would also like to congratuate Ballyn on his journey from Olympus to the honor shrine ON FOOT!  When he finally arrived he marked me a rune.  Ballyn recieved a message in a bottle for his efforts, as well as an appreciation for Recall!

    Currently Ballyn is working on growing a plant for my studies, and Thiork has undertaken a task of collecting 1 of each of the 6 dragon scales (the scales must be freshly stripped off a dead dragoon Thiork helped to kill).

    I'm quite sure I have a number of other things that need to be accomplished - so if there are any more warlocks out there hiding under the woodwork (even some of you older guys) let me know!

    I'm especially in need of a warlock with skills in inscription for a task.
