... Looks like I'll be in tomorrow since I did the preorder on the 12th of October. The anger, hate, and sorrow are building with in me, which I will unleash using purple lightning tomorrow!

Ah, the three step sith program
1. "Fear leads to anger."
2. "Anger leads to hate."
3. "Hate leads to suffering.”
Looks like you are progressing quite nicely along step 3.

May just add to the race to finish that first step....
I am planning on going the route of sorts from the Klingon "House of" to utilize the legacy system in my background fiction ......Stonewall Outpost on VOSS.....characters of my account will be "working" from that outpost but have thier own history....just wont show a different last name.
Rewards will be akin to the Guild Rewards within WOW I bet....since we were given that survey...and it all was about "guild rewards" and literally every line was from WoW listings.
But that being all said I bet in future points they will allow us to "link" characters to the legacy or branch em....or start a new one knowing it will not add to the account legacy.....starting simple I think they are and will work thru the programming in the future.
HOUSE OF MARTOK!
... Didn't you mention in another thread on the clan skullcrusher side you wanted "Ballsack"

Ok, to maximise our dps for ultraxion, people need to tweak their rotation/reforging/spec/glyphs. We aren't too far off, so every little bit helps.
I've already tweaked my spec and stuff yesterday (I had to move a couple points around to maximise single target damage).
Now not to pick on anyone in particular, but I'll be covering all the dps.
Orcala, you can tweak your spec and glyphs a bit... from what I've read, you should really pick up blood in the water, and the glyph of bloodletting instead of savage roar. (see http://elitistjerks.com/f73/t127445-feral_cat_cataclysm_4_3_dragon_soul/#Talents_and_Glyphs). as for reforgining, it looks like as long as you are hit capped, it doesn't matter how you reforge, i.e. its personal preference (you are just shy of the hit cap - 11 off, not major, and should make much of a dps gain if you reforge for it). Orcala, use the LW bracer enchant!!! and pick up the 50 hit through reforging - for example reforge widows kiss haste to hit would get you much closer to the hit cap than where you are now, and you'ld gain a ton of agi. you still have an ilvl 359 trinket - I'm pretty sure you won the majordomo trinket... hopefully you didn't vendor it, but if you did there is an equivalent from the new instances (the time reset dragon drops it if I remember correctly).
Sarduakkar - Spec and glyphs look good (looks like the cookie cutter uses collosal smash instead of swweping strikes for glyphs, but since we have feary fire, Its no big deal). Your reforging looks good. The only negative would be that you can use one more jewelcrafter exclusive gem.
Skywatcher - Enchant your gloves, you spec looks to be one of the three accepted variations for maximising dps (the other use 2/2 improved serpent sting instead of careful aim, or going full points in pathing). As for glyphs, they highly recommend using glyph of kill command instead of serpent sting. As for pet spec, the recommend going 2/2 wild hunt and 1/2 in bloodthirsty. (info from http://elitistjerks.com/f74/t110880-cataclysm_beast_mastery_4_3_a/) As for reforging, it looks like its hit > crit > master > haste, unless haste will put you close to one of the sweet spots (i.e. fitting in another cobra shot) which looks like is your case, in anycase mastery seems to be fairly close to haste regardless of the scenario.
Draegloth - Spec looks good, glyphs look good, reforging looks good. Looks like you still have an ilvl 359 trinket - not sure if the trinkets in the new instances or if the firelands vendor trinket is an upgrade for you.
Look into your deficiencies, or at least the easily correctable ones by raid time tonight.

Sith inquisitor Sorcerer healer for me.

Great night guys, 4/8, with 2 one shots on new content. Ascoli, elrikk, and myself did two of the new five mans last night and they don't seem to difficult, and since they drop 378 gear, use them to fill in some gear holes where you still have less than ilvl 378 gear.

Ok. I'm a bit confused. I'm about to buy my new system as well.
A few questions..... I'll be getting a Z68 mobo. I see that they are good for setting a small SSD as a cache with a regular hard drive. How about just getting say a 60 gig SATA 3 and use that for operating system and SWTOR with a regular hard drive for data and NOT using it as a cache?
Anything with a Z68 should have the intel smart cache, but you will be better off having a larger SSD to load windows off of directly (it's faster, less latency,etc)... although 60 gig is probably a tad on the small size to use as a dedicated hard drive but it is doable, you would probably want a 120 gig one so you can have some applications installed. As for a sata 3 vs a sata 2 ssd, on most stuff you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference (10% or so) unless you get a new generation high end ssd and those are not the ones going on sale. And I'm pretty sure that all p67/z68 motherboards are sli/crossfire certified if they have more than one PCI-E x16 slots since it is handled within the processor itself, but I could be wrong.

Looks to be a good system for a good price. I'd recommend to use the 120 Gig SSD for the boot drive, and depending on the size of swtor, you might be able to play that off the 32 gig, and use your older HDD's for storage of files while you wait for the hard drive manufacturers to ramp up production after thier thailand plants dry out and then hopefully buy a cheap 1-3 TB HDD.
I pulled the trigger my self last week - I7-3930K, 16 GB of DDR3-2133 ram (quad channel 4x4GB), MSI x79a-GD65 (8D), and the other components I already had (2xGTX 580 sli'd for 3d-surround, 3x2TB HDDs (picked them up in the summer for 50 bucks each on sale), 120 GB SSD, TV tuner card, OCZ 1000 watt gold modular PSU). Have to wait for nvidia to release updated video drivers so I can take full advantage of the 3d-surround. The system is more than twice as fast as my old system.

This is why the Hunter class is awesome - finally vindication of Barrens chat!:

I'll send some of my surplus... It's really not too bad, I'd say its about the same as blacksmithing or engineering. When I levelled kailand's leatherworking I tended to get most of my leather from tol barad while doing dailies.

Enjoy yourselves guys. I didn't check off the option to participate in the beta, as I didn't want to spoil the adventure of playing through for the first time in December.

Hope your feeling better!

Bored at the office today, so I found some nice starwars LOLcats to amuse myself.

ya, the I5's (2500k) and I7's (2600k) way out perform anything AMD has to offer (the I5 pretty much out performs AMD's newly released top of the line chip on everything except extremely parallel multithreaded apps, and the I7 beats it in that). I'd just use 8gigs of ram (2x 4gb sticks) for optimal performance in dual channel mode... 16 gigs (4x 4GB sticks) will slow ram speed down a bit as the timings will be a tad slower. I would place my money on the I5/I7 and hold off on the SSD (they are nice, I have a 128 GB one as for me 60GB would be too small, but your money at this point is better spent on CPU/MB/Video card). The geforce 560/570/580 is the way to go, although you can get big discounts on the geforce 460/470/480. the 4XX series is the same architecture as the 5xx series but a tad slower, and they run hotter. As for the rest, you should be able to reuse them, but motherboards do come with their own soundchips these days, and they aren't all that bad... 7.1 surround, etc.. As for a power supply, I'd recommend 750 watt with at least a bronze 80-plus rating (about 85% efficient), you pay a bit more up front, but it will pay for itself in a year or two. A gold 80-plus is over 90% efficient, but they are harder to find, and cost significantly more. If you can hold off until mid-late november, intels enthusiast line of I7's will be out, and there may be price drops for the mainstream line of parts.

Hey folks. I'm out this Tuesday traveling. In fact, I'll be meeting Kalea and Maube for dinner. I'll be back home on Thur. Good luck and make Kadi pull her weight.
Since finding a healer to work on heroic Shannox isn't easy I was thinking we could just pick up a dps to kill the other bosses (BH, Beth, Ryo, Alys, Baleroc) and leave heroic Shannox, Majordomo and Rags for Thursday. We'd probably have two short evenings, but better than skipping the heroic Shannox practice? Either that or we forget the heroic and just squeeze everything in on Thursday...
Sounds like a plan... I already have Margarie grabbed for DPS. Zu, make sure you have your quest stuff done so we can get your first level of staff.

I'll bring the 110% tonight and my black kingsnake.
Well, the Black kingsnake brought 200%, so I guess overall you did bring 110%. -> get a mod that flashes the screen or something when you are near a shannox trap (boss mods should do that, as long as your paying attention)

Not only is Kadiana attracted to fire, fire is attracted to her... and there isn't much fire greater than the fire lord himself, Ragnaros. We used Kadiana as live bait to lure out the fire lord, and than we smacked him with some rolled up wet newspapers that we were using on Orcala. After some time, he cried, left behind some shiney's and retreated back down to the depths of the firelands... So the clan should be safe for a while. Assuming kadiana does not step in the fire.....
-
Ok, for Ragnaros, Icy veins has a good description. Draegloth... you have an important role -> you get to blow up traps, so read up on how to do that. It looks to be pretty much a long fight with lots of stuff to avoid/adds to kill.
