Thom Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 Saturday the 28th at 9 pm eastern at the Imperial Jousting Arena. Entry Fee: 10,000 gold. Please bring your entry fee in check form. Awards: First place will receive 500k. Second place will receive 375k. Third place will receive 125k. Rules: Armor: GM crafted non runic or NPC bought armor with no gloves. Jousting suits can be bought from the vendor at Galehaven. Jewelry: No jewelry is allowed. Mounts: Standard Horses only, No ethereal mounts. Attacking of mounts will result in automatic disqualification. Lances: Luna Lances will be provided for each participant. If you are not strong enough to equip one you may use a strength potion. Failure to return the lance will result in disqualification. Clothing: Anything that covers armor is not allowed. Potions: No potions except strength are allowed. Spells and Abilities: No special abilities or spells can be used except the dismount special from the lance. Scoring: Contestants will score a point for each succesful dismount. The first contestant to reach three points will win the round. If both contestants are dismounted at the same time then both will receive a point. If it results in a tie then the round will continue until the tie is broken. Rounds will continue until the first, second, and third place winners are decided.
