I would say there is one minor requirement, won't keep you from getting in teh instance but makes surviving teh second boss easier. During teh second boss fight, you see, there is an NPC that gives out a healing buff, 200 per tick, but you only get teh buff if you are at least Friendly with Cenerion Circle.
