  1. Hey folks.

Finally hit the end of my WoW game play. According to my account, it expires 6-29-11. I told myself when I started playing this game that it would never take over my life. The last I looked after 6 years of play, I have over 400 days of online time between all my toons. This has haunted me since just before the Cata expac. Took a month off and tried again. I would have shut down over a month ago if it wasn't for Angela. Thank you all for your tolerance and friendship in game. I would like it to continue. I will pop in from time to time on this site to read and maybe even chat once in a while.

If any of the officers need to talk with me, all phone numbers I listed in the officer contact post are still the same.

    Take care

    Goodbye

    Eric

No Health Risk, Says Siouxland District Health

There's a new item on the menu at the Singing Hills McDonald's, where "food safety and quality is of the utmost importance." It doesn't cost extra, and you don't even have to ask for it. KTIV-TV reports that

as of August 26, live maggots come free of charge with randomly selected burgers.

Just ask the unsuspecting woman who bit into a burger which included that free layer of squirming fruit fly maggots that day. Surely her smile, suddenly sporting a hundred wriggly helpers, made a lasting impression on everyone she met that day.

Is this a case of free extra protein with a twist or ick-factor extraordinaire?

Michelle Rosendahl of taxpayer-funded Siouxland District Health was quick to put consumers' minds at ease. According to her, maggots are no strangers to Siouxland.

"They're very common to be around," she told KTIV reporters. "It's almost surprising that maybe it doesn't happen more often."

Does this mean consumers can expect an exciting new trend in Siouxland's restaurant scene? Just imagine, thanks to yet another trend set by Ray Krog's fast food empire, live maggots may forever change the dining experience in establishments all over Siouxland.

How does that compare to eating at home or packing your lunch?

Concerned about the general hygiene practiced at your favorite dining establishment? There's no reason to worry. Live maggots are baby flies. They're not bugs, like salmonella or e-coli. They're not even ethnic. And Rosendahl, whose salary is paid by Siouxland taxpayers, told KTIV that maggots pose no risk to a person's health.

And all this time I thought those where onions!!

  4. We have a person that I work with here from Holland, he says the title is German while the speech is all Dutch. Also it is very common to have open urinals for stuff like fairs and outdoor events. I totally *facepalmed* when I saw him approach the trough. Picking up the mint and using it as soap was totally ignorant, and very embarrassing for the toothless one.

  5. I like the Siege + Docks. But, IF, you get into a run where they are coordinated enough, the Hanger + Siege works wonders. Really only Hanger if you Zerg and are fast enough. Some of the battles I've been in, which is not too many, the group isn't organized enough to get outside the defensive walls.

  6. *gives you a shirt that says* (front) "I AM SOFA KING!!" (back) "We Tah DID!!"

    Happy Birthday Baracko!! :yahoo:

:bunny: :bunny: :bunny::p:dancing_smile::bunny: :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

:barf: :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf: :barf:

p.s. The shirt was something I was given when I was 12 and still whore it till just last year when I figured out what it really said . . .

  7. I, for one, am tired of all the time being wasted during the ICC 10 raid. I'm suggesting that every member of Kailand's raid get one of these and a couple Snapple bottles so that we won't have to stop for 5 minutes halfway through the night:

    All I have to say is . . .

It took you 10 months to find that? That's how long I've had mine anyway. It works well with most any soft item, I chipped an auger on some chicken though. It don't like bone so much. So I mainly stick to applesauce and cheeseburgers.

  8. Hey Balander, good to hear from you!!!

Yeah, I caught a glimpse of this a few nights ago and haven't had time to follow up on what I saw. I almost wrote it off as an April fools day joke. But this looks real, not sure how it works and I hope they keep my name out of it . . .

Gonna read about this more when I log in at home after work to see what it all entails.
