Ok. I'm all for something simple yet memorable. HONOR I like a lot. Could stand for somewhat like: Heroic Organization of Natives Opposed to the Rikti. (Natives meaning us Earthlings; the Ritki are the aliens that invaded Paragon City not too far past. During the invasion, only like ten heroes out of hundreds survived in their history, hence there are a bunch of new heroes running around (the players).)

Not sure what details you want exactly...but the preorder-launch went pretty well. There was a bit of a bottleneck for about an hour and a half while 20K people tried to log on at once, but they fixed that problem. It seemed less congested than in beta too, and ran very smoothly. Miss Abyss is level 8 already (after playing just about all day with my husband, that is), and I'll be working on another character tonight.... Which means IF we want to make a supergroup, we're gonna have to think of a name pretty quick now. Heading over to that thread to see if I can't make some contributions...

Virtue server is UP! And I got a good bit of my character names too.... They are: Miss Abyss Wytchfire Bluecoat Babe Taurea Shock Therapy (which may or may not be changed) Max Fury ChaosKitten (someone took Chaos Kitten with a space in there! The nerve!) All of them are on Virtue.

Hehe. I"m still not used to using the analog stick for everything....shoulda practiced on my Playstation in yesteryears, but....too late now. Am working on '13' at the moment. Kinda fun game, very comic book-y in graphics. Then back to GTA for a while. I move back and forth on games when I get bored.... played all the way through the first Buffy game though, and that was fun.

Woot! I don't know about deleting your characters tho...even when I quit SWG I didn't delete Soke. :/ Just in case, but if I DO go back to SWG, it'll be because I got a lobotomy or something, methinks. CoH is my game too, until WoW comes out, then it'll be both.

Aren't acronyms fun? Seem to be four of us interested...though I know Zenith was in beta as well. Tomorrow, at 1 pm EST the pre-order "headstart" begins. At that time, if I get ALL the names I wanted, I'll let ya know who they are and suchlike. I probably won't join with ALL my characters, but at least half, I'd say. (Keep a couple characters to group with the hubby exclusively, most like) As for T.H.E. W.H.O. that's not bad, though it might be copyright infringement....maybe? With the band? Hmm. Instead of 'Optional' though I'd say 'Organization'. Could read like: The Honor Empire: Wonderful (Wondrous) Hero(es) Organization Although I do like Blackbelt Cephalopods of California too. And you can be an anti-hero, Vradish. I have at least one anti-hero myself, a natural blaster by the name of Max Fury. You know, Punisher-esque.

Yeah, the invasion was a blast. You only died thrice? Amateur! Hehe. I died innumerable times, and had exp debt of 4501 when I finally logged off. Got some great screenshots tho.

Suicide Knights (have a suicide thing going on here, I guess...) Supreme Gods from Beyond Sovereign Battalion of Canada Hehe. But on the SERIOUS side for names.... The only Champions game I played in (Champions is a tabletop superhero rpg) we had the name "TAG" which stood for "Teen Assault (or Action, depending on who you asked) Group". I rather liked playing that game. That's just a suggestion...I mean, we can have all sorts of different acronyms to pick from, and figure out the meaning of the name later. Like, well, this is the honor empire so how about "HONOR" and then figure out something from there? Or maybe try to put something in our name having to do with honor, like "The Honor Guard", or somewhat like that. Hmm... going with the TAG thing, you could put that as "Titan Action Group", "Tenacious Active Guard" or whatever. For the life of me, at the moment, I can't think of any sort of thing for HONOR tho.... "Honorable Overzealous Natives Opposed to the Rikti" maybe. Ok, might be a bit silly, but I'm not good at coming up with names.... in the Mutants & Masterminds game we play occasionally on Saturdays (tabletop super hero RPG again), the name I came up with was "Shadow". Real original, huh? My husband was the one who thought of "Miss Abyss", which is my main character's name in CoH. Anyway, rambly mode off.

I am the suck when playing offline in first person shooter games; I wouldn't want to image what I'd be like online....

As for leader(s), let's not jump ahead of ourselves for the moment. AT least one of us will need to reach level ten...and personally, I really don't care who leads. I just want a way to hang out with the cool people I met on SWG. Hmm. And I think that 'leader' for this MMORPG will be an easy job. Not a lot of stuff to organize, other than maybe massive raids on named bosses like Dr. Vahzilok (think I spelled that right), and helping out on each other's missions and suchlike... Well, maybe 'ehancement swapping' organization too, esp. since headquarters aren't put in quite yet (but are in the works). Haven't tried the team uniform tho....cuz I didn't belong to a team in beta. So, I'm anxious to see what that's like, and what you can do to your uniforms, and so on.

Hehe. Well, you won't be wrong, cuz I heard Virtue wasn't going to be up either, but then with the good response on the Rikti Invasion at the end of beta....they decided to bring up the extra two. And I guess we'll all see. I have names reserved on all of them, so if they're not up (cuz Virtue is gonna be my main no matter what, I think...) look for Miss Abyss on any of the other servers.

Hmm... Well, you know my opinion of SWG already.. I haven't tried EQ like ever. I guess the question is: Which game do you play the most or least? And are you having fun while playing your games?

Virtue was indeed up after the alien invasion. They had so many people on their four servers FOR the invasion that they decided to bring up Virtue and Guardian... I have my name reserved on both. So, I guess we'll have to wait now until Sunday when the pre-orders (like me) can log on early and see what servers are up. I think it's a good sign though, that Virtue was up for name reservation.

Hey, y'all. Just thought I'd put this into a poll form... I am leaning towards Virtue myself because it may turn out to the be un-official rping server, esp. since I do not think they are going to have an official roleplaying server... but that hasn't been announced yet. Oh, well, at least this way we'll get a feel for where people want to go, and keep in mind there may be more servers announced in the next few days.

We should have a poll or something. I am really leaning towards Virtue tho.

Ah, my husband and I will be playing on Virtue. :/ The reason why is that a lot of the professed roleplayers will be moving to Virtue, so we're hoping that by default it'll turn into the 'roleplaying' server, as it's not certain whether or not they'll have specific rping servers...but I'm betting they won't.

Well, unfortunately there are only three "basic" body types to play: Female, Male, and Male (Huge). The size slider can give a range of heights from 8' to 4', and the "weight" slider moves between more athletic looking to muscular looking. What is REALLY impressive is the customization you can do to your costume. You can do just about anything....well, almost. They don't have capes in yet, nor wings; they are working on the technical aspects of coding them as they want to make sure they 'look right' instead of just slapping a two dimensional thing on your back and calling it good. I've heard they want the capes to "flow".

Well, you take some damage from falling...the higher up you are, the more damage. Of course, if you have superleap, then you don't take damage. Or, if you bought hover (the first in the line of flying powers), you can jump, and hit hover a second or two before you hit the bottom, and stop your descent completely. I've been having fun doing that.

Oh, I have many many 'toons' on Prime, as it was the only server up for a long while. Let's see.... there's Miss Abyss (Dark/Reflexes Scrapper), Chaos Kitten (Claws/Reflexes Scrapper), Bluecoat Babe(Invul/Strength Tanker) (they stole my name of Blue Steel for one of their trainers darn it all!), Max Fury (Guns/Gadgets Blaster), and Nurse Pain (Empathy/Lightning Defender). Miss Abyss is my main, but I'd be glad to join a temporary supergroup... my husband plays as well as another friend of ours, and we were considering making our own little supergroup....but I have no idea if that plan is gonna be a go or not. The game is a blast, and yes, climbing up fire escapes and jumping off the top of tall buildings is a blast.

Yes, the NDA has lifted... yay! This game FREAKING ROCKS. To me, it doesn't even feel like playing a game....and it's way addictive. I think I like Character creation the best tho. So much fun to make costumes.

If you like superheroes, Hothgorn, you'll like this game.

Eeeeuuuuu...that just sounds bad! I guess the fun game in the beta is to try and count how many Wolverine clones you see... hehe.
