Firstly, we will not punish anyone because they happen to be wearing magical armor after going out hunting, or for honest mistakes. But when you come to an RP event, we do expect the GM armor to be worn. However, I haven't heard directly about any punishments for being out of GM armor yet (Though I will pester you about it!). As for the revisions to the codex, it didn't even exist until Greg was Emperor, Borg's first reign there was no codex; since it was established it has been given a complete revision twice, and had countless changes done through the mechanism outlined in the codex itself for this change (Please refer to the codex's sections on amendments and changes, Article VI, The Council of Honor) . The codex has been amended at least once in every Emperor's reign, seats have been added and removed as fits the needs of the guild every time. We are not changing anything that makes PGoH PGoH. We have one of the ancients, indeed the actual original author of the Codex, Emeritus Gregory Meridius with us and he had no problems with these revisions and amendments. Please keep in mind that even in the US, our constitution has been amended dozens of times, and the interpretations of these amendments has been explored hundreds, if not thousands of times by our judicial branch. In short, we are doing everything in accordance with the Codex of Standard, and we are not going to be overly zealous about punishing anyone when honest mistakes are made. The rules of bard's night are simple (even a pooka can follow): * Leave your conflicts at the door and bring your stories with you. * No harsh obscenities are used in your stories. * There will be a time limit (usually five minutes, but may be changed due to the amount of storytellers). * All stories adhere to the theme: Tales of Tails: Feathers, Fur and Scales * The top three will win cash prizes and will be given an invitation to the champions event at a later date. The prize will be divided as follows; 500,000 gold crowns for first place, 325,000 gold crowns for second, and 175,000 gold crowns for third. Judging will take place by three crowd members chosen at random, who will decide on the winners.

<Details for each weeks spawn can be found here. > The Zoo Spawners Association has been running completely open to all events for quite some time on Catskills, and has been doing a fantastic job of bringing people together. It was started to promote a sense of unity through the shard, as well as a means to keep our zoo filled with animals (We have the oldest crane of any shard!) These happen every Tuesday night, and I would like for any Guardians who are available to start making their way to these spawns. Once the zoo points build up to a certain level that makes it worthwhile, the zoo points are raffled off or awarded in some other way. Anyone participating has a chance of then claiming reward items if they win the raffle. This is a great system, and it falls in line very much with how we as Guardians of Honor wish to support our community. Please help build the community and build our guilds reputation at the same time!

Black Market at 8pm EST The United Pirates of Catskills announce the next Black Market event for Feb. 7th, 8 pm EST! During this monthly recurring event you can sell, buy or trade your wares! This time, we will also raffle off valuable prizes to those who solved the Ransom and Blood quest. The facts: * Merchants can claim a personal market stand in the Black Market building, where they can advertise and sell their products. To do that, the merchants should enter the list of their products into the book locked down on their market stand (at least one day prior to the event, so people can come by and check on the items). * The prices should be LOWER than the regular Luna vendor prices! Bargaining is encouraged! * Are you looking for a certain item? You can post your request on the bulletin board out front of the Black Market. Merchants can check the board beforehand and have the appropriate items ready for sale. The board will be wiped after the Black Market is over.

[OOC: In reference to this http://www.thehonorempire.org/forums/index...showtopic=12993 ] Katherine had actually been in the city of Britain meeting with several trade partners, trying to broker a deal for new trade routes between the city of Trinsic and Britain, when the town crier started to run by in a quick haste. She impishly stuck out a foot and accidentally tripped the man, then leaned over him and asked what his hurry was. "Haven't you heard? We have a new King!" The crier shouted with a fervent look. Katherine helped the man up and kept a hold of his sash. "And who's that, Hmmmmmm?" "Why, Lord Casca! He was voted to become King Pro-Tempore by the Royal Council!" Sensing his haste, Katherine let him go and returned to her trade negotiations. Afterwards, she knew that the Guardians needed a well thought out and clear response to this obvious farce, that she was able to see through knowing all the history that she did. After she took a quick break to go and eat the last of the delicious caramel apples she'd stolen from Piper, she penned out a letter to the Emperor and Empress. Emperor Thom and Empress Piper, As you have no doubt become aware, there is a pretender to the throne who is about to gain access to the most powerful position in the land by falsehood at best, and treason at worst. The Royal Council does not have the power to defer a King upon us, and especially not a dead Royal Council. Lord British was never our ruler as much as he was all the peoples companion, and if this so called Lord Casca thinks that he can rule over the Guardians, he is a fool. Since the Royal Council was all murdered other than this petty ambassador Casca, I would also think that he or at least someone who wants him there was behind the assassination to begin with. The pieces begin to fit into place when you factor in that Captain Avery, the only other person left alive who knows Casca well, vanished after the business in Wisp Dungeon and his arrest following the battle with Melissa. We cannot sit by and allow this usurper to become King. We must make a show of force, and we must do it with all the pomp and circumstance required. I'm hereby suggesting that all active Guardians be prepared to don their Formal Uniform Attire as outlined in the Codex for whenever this fake decides to accept this premature coronation. We must be prepared to confront him about the Great Council's whereabouts, including why Lord Dupre, Lady Dawn, and Lord Nystul are not here to voice their opinions. We must also confront him about how exactly he came to be 'voted' on when the Royal Council is dead. We must furthermore ask how he thinks the Royal Council even has this power to declare King, since they are akin to our governors...overseers of small realms, not appointers of the highest position in the land. Whether or not this is approved or denied, I will be there in full dress uniform and declare my misgivings of him. I am certain that considering his haste in declaring himself King, he will waste little time accepting it. I doubt it will be any further than Saturday.
