  1. The giant dog lay dead at the feet of the clan and its allies. Grawuulf, covered head to toe in the beast's life blood, wiped his blades clean and grinned at the resolute melee classes surrounding the smoldering corpse. He clapped a hand on the now slick shoulder plate of Alhazad and complemented him on a job well done.

Alhazad cursed as he gently pulled on his now singed beard.

Out of the corner of his eye, Grawuulf catches Rhoach gently pickpocketing a few pieces of gold from Scryll's purse as Scryll obliviously danced about the corpse, happy to have survived the fight.

Looking though the heat distorted air, Grawuulf notices the robed caster types, their bodies still emmanating residual magical energies, congratulating themselves on the rain of terror they brought to bear that helped smite the overgrown puppy.

While the ever diligent Verissi shielded himself and climbed into the bowels of the behemoth to extract the ever precious loot consumed by the beast from other, less fortunate adventurers, the melee squad, an impatient lot to begin with, trotted past the now resting casters in search of more violence.

As they prepared to assault the vicious imp pack, Maube barks an order, bringing the blood thirsty crew to a stop. The fearless leader of Clan Skullcrusher asks the war party to disrobe and in the name of efficiency, sacrifice themselves to the spirit healer to curb their blood lust. Most, not being of modest nature and thinking their Chiefette uses the opportunity for some cheap personal thrills, happily remove their gear to give her what she wants.

Most that is except for Uglutz, who being old, wrinkly and generally un-attractive even by Orc standards, is rightfully ashamed of himself and remains clothed to avoid even further embarassment while the rest of the war party runs happily, naked to their deaths.

  2. *chuckles* The part I love is the Blue takes the time to respond on a thread like that and look up the character info in question yet how many actual intelligent threads go unanswered or un-responded to

  3. Just like school for the younguns. A month off!! :p

I am game for whatever as noticed, I don't get to participater most Friday nights anyways, so it has only been Wednesdays of which have always been in the Core, so a month off to use that time to do other things is a.o.k by me

  4. I agree with Waldy. Play what you like. Who cares :p

I personally solo so much that I enjoy the Assn/subtlety build. Even with the patch coming, I don't think I'll spec back out of it. Obviously there will be a slite modification of the point distribution, but over all I like having my cold blood and my perperation with a bit of combat mixed in. Makes for helluva fun doing solo boss mob fights and all around stealthy fun. Rogue 30 second tank for the win :p

  5. Alright folks, I know there's a hell of a lot more NFL fans out there than have signed up. Please see our LEAGUE SIGN-UP SHEET

You really want the league to be made up of all Canadians?? Where's your national pride, the integrity, the fighting spirit that we Canadians have come to love about our Southern cousins. Unless you're afraid, which is understandable. We are afterall a powerhouse of athletic knowledge and prowess.

    GO SIGN UP!!

Seriously, the fantasy league is a tonne of fun. Even moreso when it's amongst friends

  6. This is a very important post. We are not now, nor will he ever be loot mongering whores! It is not in our nature to do so. Loot is a fortunate side-effect of raiding, playing and reaching a state of general enjoyment and bliss in our gaming world with our fellow crushers. We have recently had some general winging amongst some people about the merits of why they deserve loot over others. Please cease and desist with this behavior. The dkp system is there for a reason, those that have it can use it.

For the record, any other individuals complaining about loot will be stripped naked, bound at their hands and feet, dragged naked crying down the main street of their home town and strung up by their nether regions for all to see their shame.

Please don't make me take such drastic measure. My wife gets upset with me when I take other people's clothes off and humiliate them publically! :orc:

  7. Graw still needs Drakk's blood as well. If I'm able to get on I'll gladly help with the dragons and UBRS. If no tank is available, I will happily tank the dragons provided we can kill them in less than 30 seconds *grins wickedly*

  8. Hhehehhehe Greenbull was in rare form :)

You should be here when Grawuulf comes drunk off his arse...

    Funniest times EVER.

Hey now. Just because I don't get to come on the raids as much as I'd like, doesn't mean you can take pot shots at me! :)

Besides, I've refrained from getting drunk on raids due to sore spots it left with some folks last time. A sober Grawuulf is a good Grawuulf I've been told :)

Back to DKP. I already told everyone how to fix it, just give all the loot to me and we're done. As a rogue, I'll steal it anyways!:)

  9. I'm going to weigh in on one thing with the dkp. Asking folks to pass seems perfectly fine in my opinion. They don't have to pass if they really want that item. They have the dkp, they earned it, they can spend it. Forcing them to pass would definitely be a no no. It also leads to another facet of the dkp system that is in the same vein. If you're looking at potential people to complete their sets because they are "close" and because it will help the raid, then why do we let first-timers roll on contested items, set piece or not? It's always been a curiosity point for me in the grand scheme of things. i.e. you get 4 mages that have been coming week after week and spending dkp as pieces come available. Now, let's say a rare set piece drops and those mages want to roll on it, however they are all negative. But you've got a new mage in the mix on their first run, is it right that with 0 dkp they should get that piece?

I've just always been confused by that. To me, I think it shouldn't be too much to ask from an individual that wishes to participate to at least show up one run before they're allowed to loot pieces unless that piece is uncontested. For all we know that person never shows up again.

    Just my 2 cents

  10. I've got a subtlety/assassin spec 21/8/22 with improved sap, backstab and ambush. Works great for all kinds of applications. I primarily use fist main hand (because of the Esh claw) with strong dagger offhand. I still use my Heartseeker (which I put a +4 damage enchant on) all the time for my openers i.e. ambush and backstab with a switch macro. Don't overlook maces. There's some good one hand maces out there that are also good for rogues. The barman shanker is a fairly easily obtained substitute for the heartseeker like Scryll said but the proc on it is terrible for use with stunlocks so for ongoing battles, not the best choice. For the longest time (before the claw) I was using Heartseeker mainhand with the shadowblade offhand. Served me very well. But don't neglect the weapon swap. Use your mainhand dagger for the initial strike and swap in a strong mace or sword for SS. Dagger swap back for backstabs. In pve it's butter. Much harder tactic in pvp as the target is not as accomodating
