  1. RTS games are not the same as MMORPGs. MMORPGs are not hard. Nothing hard about them. It's not a FPS game or RTS game. It's like Diablo 2 in 3D with tons more options.
  2. No, not all will be allies. But they will not be enemies either.
  3. After 30 some posts. Just don't spam the boards or I'll give you a permanent newbie title. I can do that you know? muhahahaha
  4. Yes... heheh. That's the only reason I would play. But, that would only be fun for 15 mins.
  5. Post your battle.net name for warcraft 3 here.
  6. You only need to speak IC on the roleplay forum, the fire pit. Stories, pictures, etc. I may break it up into several other forums later on depending on it's use. Change "cum" to "kum" please. I won't go into the details.... >:]
  7. The uruk-hai is a larger breed of orc family, we could use that. I see no reason. But members can use Orc, Urk, Uruk, etc. Not Ork, that just looks strange to me.
  8. Feel free to suggest new ones. But if we have to take something it will most likely be from our ex-UO clan, http://www.thehonorempire.org/orc/.
  9. SpinnerBait writes "DVD burners, until recently, have been a bit too pricey for the average consumer that just wants to backup large amounts of data or rescue a failing DVD movie disc. However, OEMs like AOpen have finally broken the $100 price point, as this article and performance analysis at HotHardware reports. Performance, for this sub $100 DVD burner was respectable as well, burning almost an entire DVD's worth of data in about 15 minutes. Not too shabby at all... just in time for the holidays." Go here for the article.
  10. Maharet writes "According to this article in the Sacramento Bee, recording devices will be outlawed and you will be able to make a citizen's arrest if you observe someone recording a movie. I don't advocate piracy, but this just looks to me like industry pressure (although the MPAA, et. al. are not mentioned). What if my cellphone has a camera? My favorite quote from an LA city attorney: 'If you carry one of these into a movie theater, you have to ask yourself, "Do I feel lucky?"'" Go here for the article.
  11. No, there will only be one warrior and one shaman at a time. That is how we setup the guild structure and it's a unique part of the clan. The Warboss fuels the bloodlust, while the vuduboss tempers it. And the Elder Nobs positions will never change unless Uglutz or Grulg steps down. Yes, everyone in the skullcrsuher orc clan must speak orcish. And it is not hard to learn. Uglutz learned quickly, and one of our other new members has picked it up quickly as well. >:] It's pretty much common sense. Other than about 10 - 20 actual new words, the rest are simply distorted English.
  12. World of Warcraft looks to be a very good game, which is what I'll be going into next. Lineage 2 has a lot of nice thongs... other than that, I know little about lineage 2. http://lineage.warcry.com/scripts/images/v...id=6676&site=10
  13. cmj writes "Internet.com reports 'Looking to attract households that still aren't online, AOL is offering new customers a $299 PC system if they sign a one-year $23.90 dial-up Internet service contract.' A click through AOL's ecommerce site reveals the the specs as 1.7 GHz Celeron with 256 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive, 56K modem, 10/100ethernet card, 17" monitor and Lexmark printer. The PC is running Windows XP, and includes 'AOL Office Powered by Sun'. Also of note is the fact that the $299 appears to be financed at around 22%. The math ( (12*23.90)+299 ) seems to suggest that you can get a $699 computer for $585.80 plus any finance charges. Setting aside the question of whether this is a good deal or not, one has to wonder whether AOL is desperate for new customers and resorting to bribery, or just progressing to the next step of branding. With this action AOL controls everything from the OS to the Word Processor to the web sites their customers browse." The article can be found here.
  14. We are "okay" with Thrall and his pals. But I wouldn't go so far as to say we are friends. We are still working on that aspect of the Clan. As to SoCxWarChief we are discussing that, but it will be a couple of weeks before we make a final decision. Lots to go over still and I have little time to commit to it with finals coming up in two weeks. And I mean Final finals. >:] No more school for Bal.
  15. We are currently looking into an alliance with several other horde guilds. If we decide to go that route, very aggressive. If we do not, very aggressive. >:] I am hoping that we will be able to have guild wars, in that everyone can attack everyone anywhere. I do not want to have to travel to a PvP zone just to do battle, and where others might interrupt our battles. Either way, aggressive. We are not the tea drinking orcs of Thrall's worshipers.
  16. So that's what they added to the special edition DVD! Damn, I really need to get that.

Check your email, or junk mail (somtimes ends up there with hotmail) for the application letter. It has details on how to login to the roster.
  18. Yes, I watch cartoons. I have to say that other than Jack, the Scotsman is my favorite character >:]

OOC: Yup, for a background story that is perfectly fine. I have Grulg as a peacful orc living in the mountains in his past.... but he is a bloodthirsty orc now That story will come in time. An idea: You can always write part two of your story when you meet/decide to join the Skullcrusher Orc Clan and adopt the ways of your brethren. >8] Edit: oops, logged in wrong account again
  20. Blizzard has released 11 new screenshots of Elves. *grumbles* ELVES!! For the silver lining..., we finally see a new update!!! Click here for the images.

    Matrix 3

Moved: Everyone should have the chance to express their disappointment about this movie!! >:]
