Martok Posted November 5, 2004 Share Posted November 5, 2004 Just got back from my cruise! Jamaica was great mon! I've never been asked to buy some pot so many times in the same day. CRAZY! Not only that, but they drive like maniacs!!! They even do their bathroom business in the streets!!! We were also supposed to go to the Cayman islands, but too much hurricane damage diverted us to "Hispaniola". "Never heard of that," I thought to myself. It wasn't until after we got on the boat and set sail that "Hispaniola" turned into Haiti!!!!!! YES! HAITI!!!! Haiti wasn't too bad. The natives were very friendly, although pushy as hell in their little junk shops. "Give me 40 dollars mon! Come and look at what I got! Make me offer mon!" Lots of security around Haiti, armed guards patroled the beach we were at making sure none of the natives come down off the mountain. I only had to beat a few refugees off of our boat as we left....
