For those White Wolf PNP fans

So, White Wolf is ending their entire World of Darkness series with a bang.

The top selling games (Vampire, Werewolf, and Mage), are getting their own books.

The others will be compiled into another book. The Vampire book, called "Gehenna", is already sold out.

Even though at the very end of their announcement it stated that the 'World of Darkness' would be back in a new form after this... so fine print isn't just for Credit Agreements.

Here's an email I received describing a plot that one of the Assistant National Storytellers of the Camarilla released as a start to what's going on. I'd hate to have my character caught in the same state as this guy and it's only the BEGINNING of what's gonna be happening.

I know that they are bringing back World of Darkness. I'm just happy that White Wolf is willing to give something to their community for sticking with their games for so long. Not just an ending, but an ENDING.

Most companies release and say: "All our new source books will be done with our new rules".

I used to play Mage. *looks sheepishly around*

All their games were very enjoyable, (Even Wraith... as long as you could get past the 'taking it personal' thing with the shadow...) but instead of letting the players be who they are they went the route of TSR and began flooding the market with superfluous *bleep* that we didn't need.

What WW is doing is basically the same tripe that GDW, IC, FASA and TSR did before they went belly up... but being that WW has a fan base that borders on cult, (Some would say even more than that...) I hope WW will be able to keep the 'sands from the crops' when the dry spell hits.
