Crikrunner Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) Also useful for pve as a space saving macro is the ALT modifier macro, basically casts spell on current target or if you hold down alt casts spell on your focus, great for mage/shaman who focus a healer in pvp/arena so you can interupt a heal without loosing your dps/heal target. #showtooltip Counterspell /stopcasting /cast [modifier:alt, target=focus] Counterspell /cast [nomodifier] Counterspell Shaman just replace Counterspell with Earth Shock(Rank 1) *** leave out rank 1 if you want max rank to be cast *** Here is a purge macro more suited for healers, purges your target or your target's target. Useful since you can purge normal with it or just purge the dps target while keeping your heal target targeted Priests just substitute Dispell Magic for Purge #showtooltip Purge /stopcasting /cast [harm] Purge; [target=targettarget] Purge Great Ice Block Macro will cast ice block same button will remove the effect so you can double tap just to clear all negative effects/wipe aggro pve #showtooltip Ice Block /cancelaura Ice Block /stopcasting /cast Ice Block The Best Ice Mage Pet macro, button will summon pet, same button will cast your pet's freeze ability: #showtooltip [pet] Freeze; Summon Water Elemental /stopcasting [nopet] /cast [nopet] Summon Water Elemental /stopmacro [nopet] /cast Freeze Another very useful (though they make Crikrunner sad as they are used to kill totems quickly) macro is a mouse over macro. What ever is under your mouse pointer when you click the button becomes the target, great for anyone who wants to damage/cc something without loosing your current target. Frost Lance example, just subsistute your spell/ability for it #showtooltip Ice Lance /stopcasting /cast [target=mouseover,exists,nohelp][ ] Ice Lance Please Respond with more useful macro types if you have some to share!!!
