Da guud: I think the event was a success overall. The event(as i understood it) was an exercise in organization, as well as, testing Alliance response to multiple threats. Both goals were met with experience gained and lessons learned (hopefully). The HC leadership did not let any and all who came join. They stuck to the plan and were not given to zerg. They have and will be getting alot of flak for this because of the mememe attitude of many gamers. They tried using teamspeak to help commo. I havent reinstalled it so cant comment on the usefullness of this. I was able to tell Morchaint i needed group and less than 30sec later got an invite. There were at least two separate raid groups of at least 3 groups of 5. The leadership seemed to coordiante betweeen them ok. Ghostsword was my raid leader and did well (with what he had to work with haha).

Da bad: We didnt get moving untill an hour later than expected. Poor execution. Group organization seemed poor. Appeared to me that they grouped like classes together. We moved on the main roads. Horrible idea imho. We stood around at our destination(Theramore) waiting too long to strike. This helped the enemy to amass a larger force than we could handle.

Da ugly: Many people tried to give orders resulting in mixed messages and lack of control for the leadership. Lack of discipline and failure to do what you were told led to many losses, which led to our inevitable doom. The effect of us being soo outnumbered could be felt, severly. It was sickening.

Anyhow, i had fun. Wish you were there.

What is the max bonus? Ive heard three days rest is the max. True? Which im not sure how long then you stay rested.

What is the stance on alts in the guild? I have several also that i park at the inns and whip out once in awhile to break from warlockdom.

You would think by now, companies getting into to MMORPG genre would have done enough market research to KNOW before launch just how much bandwith/hardware/employees/etc they will need.

I think there is some hope though. At the end on Jan. two things will happen. First, many people will not continue paying for the game. Second, they will get the money from the rest of us. So it has to get better.....doesnt it?

Whatz da point? Wez kan sell da shardz fer 1gp each ur me kan enchant wit it fer 3gp. If me sell enchantment wit latz shard, me kan split da shinies. We kant luuz.

To help me enchant everyones weapons,i need large glowing shards. These are rare but ive found out that i can disenchant Robes of Power and get the shards. I can make the robes, but it requires 10 mageweave, and 2 of each element.

Now, if you want to help there are elementals of all 4 types in Arathi Highlands (eastern kindom) which drop the raw elements we need. Also, there is a very nice quest involving killing the elementals(levels 37-39). The quest starts in Arathi, found at a large crystal near the horde village there. I think you can get it at 35th level or so. The quest leads on to killing elite hill giants and their guards (42nd level). My group ended up with at least 5 drops and lots of xp. What more could you want! (Maybe some of you shouldnt answer that) Anyhow, get with me as ill be working on gaining shards for everyone.

just a word of advise to anyone else drawn by the power to enchant.....be FULLY committed.

what does that mean you ask. In my experience, i am a tailor/enchanter. the first 100 or so skill is great fun life is a party, like any addiction. then suddenly you find yourself in the gutter. Penniless, dispicable and without much hope. you'll say ill quit tommorrow. heres the real deal: there are no components to just go collect, you must commit to disenchanting every green item you find, or make. you must commit to getting training many levels after it is available. you must commit to surviving with out extras, you must network and deal with many people, you must accept that untill you match those high level enchanters you wont make money enchanting,

mount..hahaha. and on and on

im level 38 and have few silver to my name. you may find a better path than i, you may like all that enchanting entails...good luck. if this is your idea of fun, disregard my ludacris ramblings.

The reason i want to walk is that walking is the official "unofficial" RPer flag. See someone walking, they are RPers. (According tto the AD forum) I think this is a good idea, anyhow i cant walk atm.

everpvp is an add on that lets you turn on your pvp flag untill you turn it off.

As we are told, trolls regenerate 10%faster and (of interest to me) regen 10% of total rate during combat. We all know spirit governs regeneration of HP and mana.(although we arent told exactly how and its not measurable by any means i know of)

Question: Is it possible, and worthwhile, to focus on spirit enough to make a big/noticable difference in combat?

I dont know for certain if this is the BEST guide but do with it what you will. Many enchanters are pricing according due to the lack of info and standardization.

Most enchanters will discount if you provide the materials, or even throw in green items. Hope this helps.

If so...going to put my advancement on the backburner for abit. Ive gotten to 185ish an dont think ill be ready to take on that place soon. Maybe someone could hold my hand and watch after me? Well....let me get the gold first. yeah backburner for sure.....

yes, i noticed his bloated prices and heard of some of his auction practices. But....what are you going to do? i mainly mentioned this for people having hard time getting particular formuale. For ex. when i was trying to get my hands on robes of arcana pattern. He tried to help, i ended up getting it by drop (after few hours). Later, when many formulas are drop only, he may be good person to know. /shrug

I personally dont care what i have to look like. I would rather have the best gear to help my character, than matching or looking good. But, i will have a tux soon just for fun.

While at the AH and looking for patterns i noticed a interesting fact. Nearly half or more than half of all patterns/formulas/recipes are being sold by ONE player. Have you noticed this? If not his name is Ayngwysh (40something Forsaken warrior)of the Lotus guild. I have been speaking with him on occasion. He refuses to give his "secrets" away, and says he is "only a middleman". (pfft) He is a decent player, and will try to help find any patterns he may have access to that are not on auction. Given his situation, i think he may be someone for us to be aware of. Especially since some of us are becoming highly skilled crafters. Perhaps this will be help to some of you.

thats unbelievable. if thats all true about armor, im not so sad that Volonazra basically weres tissue paper for armor. Clothe caster damage reduction is near nonexistent. (IRC ,my AC at 36 is >300) My alts are pretty low level still so i cant share any game experience, but im pretty sure AC does matter.

According to the WoW vault, armor reduces damage using the following algorithm:

Damage Reduction = (.3*(Armor Class-1)/(10*Level+89))

WoW game mechanics work using slight variance and marginal factors. Not knowing exact numbers of it all i cant give specifics. However, that is why such things like talents,race abilities, etc are seemingly teenytiny percentages.

As for the drops topic, yeah its strange. As a mmorpg veteran, im just used to it. I have always liked the idea that what ever a npc/mob had i should be able to take. For example, if i slay some warrior who had a sword,shield,full set or armor, clothes under that armor, money, tickets to the ball, etc it should be up for the taking.
