Its defenatly not "first-come-first-serve",I think you just have to be lucky to participate or maybe

the "wow-guys " will read the comments that are on "your sign-up mail" and pick the good ones

(sounds to me a bit 'impossible' to check that much but heck,the can design wow so this would be easy )

Actually I think all races are nice to play but you just have to see what race fits you the most ....

My favorite races are : Warlock,Hunter,Druid,rogue(why do they always spell it wrong? >:/ )

1.He's "dark" (typical for the horde)

2.he can summon many monsters (vb.the nightmare horse)

3.He can collect souls héhé

And ofcourse much more
