Hit Points and Maximum Stats of several common and popular pets will become diminished Hit points on monsters used to be the equivalent of about 1/2 of a player's hit point, due to peculiarities of how UO's combat engine worked. In other words, if you hit a player with 0 AR and did 35 hit points of damage, the same exact attack on a monster with 0 AR would do 70 points of damage. Age of Shadows' combat engine does away with this dual method of handling damage, effectively doubling the worth of a hit point on a non-player. Taking into consideration all of the combat changes including resistances, new damage values for spells and weapons, and additional factors, monsters' hit points were generally reduced by about 40% (with some specific tweaking to particular creatures). The end result is that creatures will still be able to absorb about the same amount of punishment after AoS as before. Monster hit point numbers are now smaller, but the scale has changed. This is not a nerf -- it's just an adjustment to the numbers to keep monster power the same while the combat system itself changes.

mIRC was the first suggestion on how to handle this meeting. I believe that mIRC would be the best way to handle. But, I had hoped to make this a in game "event" to add another dimension (re-add since this was done in the past but no longer) and to be able to add another RP element "Guild Goverment" My concern was obviously the same as yours (blocked text, confusion). We will attempt once more but using strict procedure, similiar to RL parliment standards (I.e one only talks when reconized). Of course even the best laid plans...err ummm... This weekend's meeting will be my last for the foreseeable future. I wish to go out as I came in and as how I worked during my time here. We prepare the way for those whom follow us; our actions equal our legacy. The Senate (Council of Honor) has lain dormate for far to long. This weekend instead of our normally scheduled meeting, we shall call the senate to order. The last several weeks have been a time of change and instability. But through this change measures are being formed that will reinvigorate the empire and provide for its long-term focus. But, there are different ideas as to how these changes should be carried out as well as even what ideas have merit. These different ideas have threatened to rip the empire’s membership apart. This meeting will allow an opportunity for all to speak their mind on these issues and for the members of the senate to vote their conscience. It will be held at Olympus at 7:00 In the room above our normal meeting room. I ask all whom are available to attend to watch and comment (as appropriate). Also, this Senate meeting will be lead and structured using a parlimetary method. To further detail this will not be a mob of text so that no constructive work is accomplished. The “Chair” will recognize each that wish to speak. They will put forth their argument, and then the next whom wishes to be recognized will speak. I recommend that all arguments be put forth in a logical manner. This is a perfect time to promote part of what this guild was built for. Role-play. Once all have had there say the “Measure” will be voted upon and a new “Measure” brought forward. The rank and file membership whom wishes to be will also be recognized in turn and be able to speak. This is your opportunity to tell the members of senate (leaders) how you feel on a subject. I urge the members of the senate to listen to their comments for wisdom. Only “measures” that are in accordance with the citizens of the empires personalities can work. A “measure” can be implemented but if the majority does not support it is doomed to failure. I also humbly request that I be allowed to chair this meeting. I do this as I said to “prepare the way for those whom follow me”. And to be quite blunt, I am leaving. I have no unseen bids for power as it would be pointless. I have no biases, as the changes inacted will not affect me for what may be a long, long, time. I have no “voting” power. And last but not least, I have no fear of offense because I can say what needs said without fear of consequences. I simply wish to see this initial meeting of the senate to be handled in a way that it will be most efficient. I also hope this will be a way for the Empire to work on these issues that have created so much dissention over the past few weeks and to deal with future issues. The following senators (Honor council members) are formally called to action. If a senator for any reason can not appear he or she is allowed to select an alternate. In some instances Senators positions are filled with a body whom is “inactive”. I have selected a member whom is an expert in that field to fill the post. This replacement is for this meeting and this meeting only. I have not made a substitution for the Magistrate offices as I consider that sacrilege. The Council of Honor is comprised of the Emperor, Magister Officarium, Magistrate Quaestor Palatii, Magistrate Praipositus Sacri, Senator of War, Senator of Arcane, Senator of Genesis, Senator of Trades (Charsi), Senator of Espionage (Elleroth), Head of State, and Praetorian Prefect All of these measures have been either what has brought conflict recently, or queries of the past that were spoke of needing Senate “approval”. Measures for vote: (a) The formation of a “Tradeday event” The Senator of Hera and Trade to lead. These members are authorized by the Senate to use the full resources of the Empire to promote and manufacture items needed to facilitate this “event”. In order to facilitate the gathering of aforementioned resources they are also authorized to promote and organize smaller events to gather material for the “Trade day event” (b) The empire has been requested to become part of a “alliance” of guilds. The empire has taken steps to enter into this organization but is now formally asking the senate for its approval of this action. If the senate determines that the membership of PGoH within this organization is not to the Empires advantage than the Empire shall vacate its current position. © The SOW has formally requested the formation, under his authority, of an “Red” squad to handle the threats currently present in Felucca. This measure asks the senate for approval in this action. This squad will be made up of “Volunteers” whom wish to pursue this avenue of play, and members will not hold any special titles. No members of the cohorts can be “ordered” to participate in this squad. All actions of this “Squad” will be within standards set forth by the Codex. (d) During a period of absence by the emperor members whom have become “inactive” may hold important positions of “senate”. This measure is to authorize the senate in these times to vote and promote a qualified individual to fill that role. (e) The formation of a “Tournament Night”. This measure authorizes the senate to use the resources of the guild to plan and organize the formation of an annual Tourney. This measure also allows the senate to authorize a qualified individual within PGoH to supervise and promote this event. (f) The current (and soon to be former) Decurion has requested the approval of the Senate in the “guidelines for promotion”. Amendments (voted seperatly as a addition to a approved measure) Amendment A to “measure” C The SOW is authorized to use the resources of the guild to assist in outfitting the members of the anti- pk squad. The SOW is also authorized to promote and plan events to gather resources (i.e. raw material, gold) to assist in outfitting his “squad members” Amendment A to “measure” E This amendment authorizes the senate or at the will of the senate the “authorized qualified individual” to use guild resources and materials to be used in organizing this event up to and including the rewards for winning.

I journey the land for what may be my last time. I had expected a joyous time of comradery and of adventure. The last adventures of a young warrior whom has prematurely become old. What I have found…is something much different. What I see,… infighting…Old scores to settle…battles for power and control. Conflicting ideas…..Some not for good of group but to fill ones own agenda. To fight just to fight it seems I will say this to all. PgoH was built by many whom are here, and many whom are not… Countless hours of work. I myself have worked, toiled many hours to add my name to this legacy. I hope my efforts have found me worthy to be recognized as such. Yes PgoH is an ancient order that will stand forever if not ingame…in many hearts. Now to business as far as the events of today so far. Too all sides. You selfishly jeopardize the work of our ancestors in this conflict, and I for one do not appreciate my efforts being torn asunder by petty issues that could, and should be discussed rationally by adults. Compromise and seek the middle road. We have a guild with tradition. We have a good group of smart, honorable, and loyal people. We have a codex that was intended to settle these matters. Ideas for the revising of the military cohort have been under review by the Empoerer and he has forwarded his declaration on this issue along with alterations to our current SOW Rand. I am sure over the next week these revisions will be implemented and under review.

Woah?..Im gone for a few days and....

A succesful and enjoyable romp for all whom attended. Although many of us didnt make it as far as we would have liked we shall learn and grow, restrategize. I am proud to say that 15 or more members joined us on our expedition. I thank each and evryon whom attended. Looks like activities for the Guardians in Soseria are picking up! A special thanks to Phalanx Logan for filling the gap on this mission and "carrying the ball". He is to be commended. Next week at 8 pm on Saturday He will have his "treasure hunt" and I invite all to attend as Im sure it shall be a enjoyable event. Also a speacial thanks to Dalimar and the members of our "Alliance of guilds" compatriots DWG. Their members doubled our own and I am proud to say that they activly worked with us on this event. I had a few times that I recieved aid from their members and I returned the favor when needed.

Steel DarKnight paced restlessly about his chambers. It was late into the night and he was unable to sleep. Every time he tried to relax and rest, he was awaken by an uneasy feeling,….. feelings of dread. Outside nothing stirred. He had made certain of that, but, it seemed that even the security of Olympus offered little assurance to him. Steel had slept for awhile before being awaken. His dreams filled with nightmares. Visions of great beasts of evil ran thru his head. A challenge had been issued, the guantlet dropped, the line in the sand drawn. The dreams claimed the Guardians had no honor, nor valor. They claimed that under hardship, the Guardians would wilt and fall as a flower does feeling the first blasts of winter. The empire is dead they said and the realms would soon follow. The voice, of what he knew not, laid down the challenge. “Face me.” It spoke. “Face me if you are still the force of honor and light.” This was followed by a laugh so loud it left his mind reeling. “ The empire no longer has any Valor left in it!” The voice claimed “You are a shell of what you were and even now you fade into nothiness!” “Soon, very soon, you shall cease to exist!” “ The realms have but few points of light…one by one….we watch them go out!” “You have your challenge Decurion! take it to your legion.” “Watch them crumble and fall.” “No Honor, no Valor, no Commitment,” “Each and every one of you………” Steel prayed that the voice was wrong…… The Guardians have been challenged. This eve we had a incident revolving around some PvP (ok Pk'n) between Guild allies. In order to make all aware of our current affiliation I am posting the following groups as "allies" Covenant of Vampires (COV) The Cavaliers (CVL) Dragon Wyrm (DWG) Knights of Camelot (K/C) Guardians of Light (GOL) Please do not attack members of these guilds unless you are attacked. If assualted keep track of names and report as quickly as possible. Due to the events of this eve we were forced to reprimand one of our own. But we have set the precedent of initiating action on grievances. We will expect the same of our "allies"

Logan, Your frustration is understandable as you are a member who helps define PGoH. I.E. you truly care about the status and activities of PGoH. As of late meetings have for the most part been unattended and there has been some lack of events. The activities part will be rectified , I apoligize that I havent held my annual hunts over the past two weeks, Real life circumstances have prevented me from being available. There is a hunt planned for this weekend (Saturday night) and I urge all to join us whom are able. Also, Sundays meeting should be attended. This weekend we welcome back some of those whom had departed and I expect that it shall be very interesting.....

Due to unforseen events I will not be able to attend the meeting this eve. Events I will miss this night include Kodoz's hunt, Guild meeting, and Alliance meeting. Due to my ever increasing family and possible new responcibilities at another employer, I am going to look at a new home with more bedrooms and a office.
