He yields one node that typically (95%) of the time puts out a Large Obsidian Shard. We got 4 more Small Shards, 1 Large Shard and 1 Essence of Earth last night after you left.

This is "just a game", right? I'm "just a raider", right? Then why the hell did it bug me as much as it did for Crik to toss me leadership and run off to his dad like he did? Crik, man, I am really relieved that your dad is fine. I don't know how everyone else felt, but brother - you hit me mentally on the side of the head with a brick when you dropped that bomb. Yes, real-life is more important, and I am incredibly glad our dad is stable, safe...ALIVE.

Apologies for my less than average leadership last night, I feel like I let you (Crikrunner) and the raid (everyone else) down. I was not on my game, nowhere near my game and I am capable of better. I'll do better the two weeks we have without Crikrunner coming up in October.

I appreciate it Scryll and Kytae. I hit the AH and found some greens, bought a Krol Blade to tank with for about 1/3 normal price (it's gonna hold over until I get a QS) and started hitting dungeons. Got some gear from UBRS the other night, and almost feel confident enough to start getting into Strat and Scholo now.

oh - and a very BIG thank you to Kytae for loaning me the money to get a mount. Yeah, that old red nag isn't much, but it sure beats walking! Check your inbox for the return!

So, a little while ago, I allowed a friend to borrow my account while I was out of town on business. At the time, I had a level 60 Warrior named Bradius, a level 1 banking character and a level 2 Shaman named Jeroabem. Jeroabem was, at that time, a diversion from Bradius, and as such, really didnt see him going anywhere.

Bradius, at the time, had an Arcanite Champion (made by Koltar), a Purple Epic Warhorse and a few other fun weapons. He was in okie dokie blues - nothing fancy as he was my very first 60. When I came home from the conference, he was gone. Deleted. Not there.

I reported this to a GM from Jero and found out my so-called-friend had sold off everything and deleted my main. I was pissed.

Long story short, it took me almost a year to do it, BUT - I finally got a naked level 60 Warrior back tonight after re-opening a petition on a whim to a GM. YAY!

It sucks he came back naked, but it's loot - loot drops more than one time! AND...knowing what I know now about the game and classes, I'll be able to develop him much better than I did the first time around! So happy! I'm still doing the happy dance of happy dancing!

Thank you everyone that signed up and showed up last night, it was an awesome experience to do this for the first time as a group leader. I'm looking forward to more of this, and with experience, we'll soon be steamrolling the Basin!

Where are you?

I have the materials needed to summon two Dukes and I would like to get a few people to help out with it. I eventually will want to summon a Lord so I can get that NR Quest Reward, but that can be down the road. Would anyone be interested in this?

Also - I either have or will have the materials for the three crafted NR leather Blues on me tonight. Is there anyone attending the raid that can craft them if I provide the materials? Just need to hit the AH for one item once I get home.

Thanks for the response. Right now I am thinking two times a week. Thursdays (non-raid night) and Saturday afternoons. I'll PuG or get in with the BFB/BoTB/WW teams on the other nights.

Please come with reagents to buff the party fully at the start of the battle. Rogues come with enough poisons and flash powder to last 3+ hours of non-stop queue. Honestly, with the exception of 2 or three teams, we can expect non-stop five capping.

Teams to watch out for come from Stormrage, Warsong and Arthas (Altera Vista = all Naxx and AQ40 geared). If we get a team, we will grab the farm and hold it and allow a 4 cap (still get a little honor that way, but speeds the match up).

Thursday: 9pm - 12am (or longer, depending on people)

Saturday: 1pm - ?? (or longer, depending on people)

I seriously want to get in there and play. We'll have two strategies, a conservative strategy and a normal strategy.

Normal Strategy is:

1 - Mill

2 - Mine

3 - Smith

4 - Swing

If your node is clear, move on to the stables. 1 person will dismount from group 1 and will cap the farm.

again, the only requirement for group 4 is an epic mount.

Conservative Strategy is:

1 - Mill

2 - Smith

3 - Farm

4 - Swing

4 people on Mill and Smith, 3 people on the Farm, 4 people on swing. Again, swing team will have epic mounts. Please also have spare gloves with the riding enchant and spare boots with mithril spurs.

Swing point, in any case, is the point on the road on the mill side of the smith where the bridge to the smith intersects the Road.

Ventrillo will be used (the For Horde Vent Server) for communication. Don't care if you have a mic as long as you can hear and respond. Please have the latest version of CTRA as well so we can Assist Train when we hit a node.

I am pushing rank as hard as I possibly can, which will mean organizing a PvP team for AB. AB is the fastest honor gaining Battleground with the static game times (score generated over time means the longest a match can go is about 30 minutes vs. indefinite WSG and AV matches). To that end, I am looking for anyone who is interested in a once weekly (Saturday Afternoons!) three - four hour stretch of Arathi Basin. I am currently running with Blackfang Brotherhood, Brotherhood of the Blade and Winter Wolves, but I don't want to rely on getting into a group with one of them. So, forming a group of my own seemed like the thing to do.

Groups will be:

1 - Mill

2 - Mine

3 - Smith

4 - Swing

If your node is clear, move on to the stables. Looking for a good balance of healing, melting and melee to help out. The only requirement for group 4 is an epic mount.

If you are interested in pushing PvP rank and would like something organized to participate in, this is available. And, yes, I am doing this for my own benefit - I want High Warlord, but you will also gain honor and rank from this too. We don't have to worry about Honor Caps until rank 10, so we can push as hard as we want until then. And, anyone who sticks with me from start to end gets me with them if they decide to push.

I wanted the music from Carmina Burana (Apocalyptica - it's in "The Exorcist" and the Capital One Viking Commercials), but I couldnt get the soundtrack to mesh with the video correctly. If I can get them to work by finding a different copy, I will re-release the movie in the original "director's cut" version.

I'm working on a couple too. Gonna make a compilation video of the Scholomance Bosses. Gonna have to find some better music though.

EDIT: While it is neither as good as Mogbertha's Video at Ragnaros, nor as entertaining as Chemmy's Video at Kurinaxx, it does have a different soundtrack, and it shows Depaa healing - TWICE and that should make it worth watching.

Rogues - out level 70 talents look all well and good, but can you imagine a Combat - Prep build where we can use Adrenaline rush TWICE in a boss fight - 3 times on Ragnaros if we time it right? The potential is SO awesome.
