Aye it's a different world now. I'm not sure it's better but it's very different. Yes I'm female, but I wonder.
Look at the kids then

I'm here BB, just feeling a bit lost, never been in a big guild before so maybe it's normal to feel this way.

Earth and Beyond is the new baby for guess what parent company? Take a guess. You got it! Our very own EA. Rumor has it that's why UO2 was cut and why we're struggling to survive in UO. They are putting their energy in Earth and Beyond and other projects.
Not real sure what that means for the game, but it'll be our old familiar EA holding the purse strings.
The good ol' days

I've always stayed home with my kids. I've never looked at but anything but a privelege. I know my husband and I have sacrificed a lot in material ways to do it, but I've felt blessed I had a husband that saw it was important too. The kids came first. I have great kids so far. People are always asking how come my kids are so good and how do I know the words to those songs and ect etc. Yes I know every dinosaur name there is, I know the boy bands, I know the American Girl Dolls and have read every book!. how you think I got into this game? My oldest kid! hehe, the point is I'm in there lifes even if I have to push my way in, but it takes a lot of energy and I admire my friends that can do both, work and be involved. I'm too old and tired to do both!
I really think it's easier to stay home and be a full time mom, but at times it's lonely work and you can feel the world passing you by. If the husband isn't a great and supportive guy it's even harder.
Bottom line, the kids. I look it at this way, I gave birth to this kid, I owe it 18 years to give it wings.
