I am Seven of Nine, Diplomat in service to the Guardians of Light. *bows and smiles* When the leaders of GoL were looking to the future, and a plan for the upcoming year, we found that in order to better sustain our playing environment, as a guild within Ultima Online, it is necessary that we begin the process of branching out and finding other honorable guilds to form friendships and alliances with. Isolationism will only get us so far. It was once dreamed of a shard-wide council of honorable guilds, working together for an ultimate goal. Times changed and all guilds, not just ours, became almost entirely self sufficient. It is true that we can provide pretty much everything we need for our guild, ourselves. However, we realized we were missing a lot of the game enjoyment because of our lack of interaction with other guilds and peoples. To this end, we would like to host and attend shardwide events with other guilds throughout the year. We would also like to find out more about your honorable guild. We offer the sword of the fighting forces of GoL to all those in the land that reside on the side of good. We will be dedicated to justice, and honored to fight beside The Purple Guardians of Honor once again. We would be honored to have your guild in attendance at our shardwide events. We look forward to more interaction soon. These moons approaching for our realm are quite dark...and as I have returned to lead the Empire, it will again be a pleasure to stand with your lines more often. Though there may be better days to rejoice....you and I have a unique insight into what is facing us.....Lord Blackthorn is what we once were. More machine than human.....he is now a drone of Exodus. In that we understand his limits of his mindset....he has limits....we must overcome and be more than he can comprehend. The Purple Guardians of Honor and The Guardians of Light Brought justice to Britannia with all of their might. Their loyalty to their stones, their loyalty to honor Brought both guilds together, purple was their color. They rode side by side helping the innocents, Fighting brigands and giving assistance. Lord British would summon them to stand by his side When cities were threatened, the innocents would hide And watch the great battle and the purple capes flow As each soldier of justice, great power would show. They slayed the undead, and the evil spawns in the land. Nothing could stop, this great, brave band. Lord British was proud and recognized their valor. If the Purple Allies were called they would win the battle. So tell of the legends to your children, my friend. For the tales live on and never shall end. As the PgoH and the GoL, Continue to their quests, new stories you’ll tell. Many battles of justice and quests against evil Must be fought by these allies who train in great skill. So that each time an innocent is wronged in our land They will make ready and bring justice again. Listen ye children, learn of honor and valor; Train in the skills and be ready for battle. Then you, too, can ride with the allies of truth Proud in the purple, and sure on the hoof. But remember one thing before you embark: Keep compassion in your soul and honor in your heart.
