Balandar Posted May 16, 2003 Share Posted May 16, 2003 The once fallen and disgraced Confessor, Mandemus the Meek, who for reasons unknown cast off his habit and led a life of desperate contemplation rediscovered his faith. In doing so he organized and led a mission to track down and hunt Vellogthu, the powerful demon who serves Chaos, and stole the Skull of Khemesh from him. The artifact was to be used by Chaos to summon the God Morloch to the fragments of Aerynth. Although it seems both Mandemus and Chaos eventually lost the skull, it is unclear if the summoning rituals by Chaos were prevented on all the worlds. Now it seems that Chaos may have been successful… The wind seethes with dark rumors, and shocking portents of blood and doom chills oracles in every city. The disturbances that have rocked Tyrranth Minor and Major and the deserts outside Khar Th'sekt have a single, unseen cause, and soon every fragment shall shudder under the Hand of Chaos!
