CURRENT EMPLOYMENT LISTING WORLD BUILDER (Temporary full-time - no benefits/relocation provided) We are currently searching for a talented and experienced World Builder to join our team! This person will be primarily responsible for producing professional-quality world maps and levels. Will work closely with other team members to ensure consistency of the game world. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Minimum one year of experience in the gaming industry, preferably in a production position Good understanding of Online gameplay design (MUD, graphic MID, etc.) Ability to create and deliver quality levels and maps within time constraints, particularly for games using a 3D engine Strong initiative and problem-solving skills Ability to work well within a team environment Sound knowledge and love of computer games Pluses Include: Familiarity with object oriented computer languages like C++ Experience coding in interpreted languages like Java, Python, QuakeC, etc. Applicants must submit a demo map using Unreal, Quake 2, Kingpin, or similar 3D engine map. Also include a text file with a short description of what the level is about and the objectives/highlights. Please indicate the amount of time it took to construct and what editor you used to create the map. In addition to your resume and demo map, please include a short bio about yourself and your industry experience. Be sure to list your experience with any other aspects of game development (particularly 3D Studio Max, Lightwave or similar 3D art tools). Imagine a contest run by OSI promising small prizes or free gametime for submission of levels and worlds based on criteria OSI posts. 100's if not 1000's of submissions would result and of course all would then become property of OSI.
