Looks more like the original Ultima's to me ... unless you're talking the very first Zelda for the NES
-
I assume that based on those screenshots I saw, it will probably have it's own server. The battle scene looked like a traditonal RPG battle, not a real time UO one. Wonder how much it'll cost ...

Cheblis is also looking for a new home in the city.

I had huge problems patchign just prior to AOS. I waited until I actually had a fresh AOS CD in my hands before attempting the reinstall, as I couldn't find my LBR CD and the next newest one was a 3rd Dawn beta *shudders*
As Steel said, a reinstall seems to work best. A defrag of the hard drive after uninstalling wouldn't hurt things. And make sure that after you uninstall that everything in the UO directory is gone. You want to start clean.

I also have an ample supply of the BOD2 cloth. Anyone else who needs it just drop me a line.
-
Come back soon, friend. *salutes*
-
I still can't belive they haven't put the BOD bug to the top of the list ...

Funny how not that long ago, this idea got a huge thumbs down from OSI. It's a great idea and I'm very very glad to see they are seriously considering it now.

A GOLD Dragon Lies Beneath!
I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Gold Dragon on the inside. My Inner Dragon is the most honorable of all. Golds are the third rarest of all the dragons (after Platinum and Chromatic dragons) and have a station in society that reflects their rarity. I am what one might call a Draconic Knight. Golds live by a strict code of chivalry and commitment. Remember Draco? Yep, Gold Dragon. My appearance is fearsome and all-mighty but I'd never stoop so low as to bring any harm to a human. I'm one of only two dragon types that are aligned "Lawful Good" and demonstrate great magical proficiency. My piety, beauty, wisdom, and inner strengrth are absolutely without parallel.
Of course, being a Gold Dragon isn't all high ethics and codes. I like to fly around scaring things, advise humans in their affairs, and shapeshift. Strike that, I LOVE to shapeshift. And I'm great at it. In fact, who's to say I'm not really a Gold Dragon after all? My favorable attributes are honor, truth, kindness, gold, wisdom, bravery, and trustworthiness. If anyone threatens or tries to kill me, I could strike back with my breath weapon - Fire. But then, no one's tried anything that stupid in the last couple thousand years. After all, I'm about 54 feet long.

That was hilarious. Funny thing is now that I'm back into DAoC a bit, it all makes sense too

Gates and recalls in general have been EXTREMELY buggy since AOS. I am sure it's not your system. I get bounced back most often when I recall, and occasionly get the hang time that you mention.

The nice thing about the Necromancer is the Shadow Wisp familiiar. Gives you small mana bursts every now and then, the lower your karma, the more you get back. For a mage, its a great help. For a warrior relying on only a little mana for special moves, it's all you need.

I have a friend who is doing the archer/necromancer approach. Archers have always been good for PvM (usually not for PvP though).

Prometheus currently: (left side actual, right side goal)
104.3/120 Magery
110/120 Evaluate Intelligence
110/120 Meditation
75.8/100 Necromancy
80.8/100 Spirit Speak
81.6/100 Resisting Spells
60/60 Anatomy
This should look familiar, it's what Balandar had originaly planned. I'm sure most of you are wondering why I am bothering with resist, but I fear that as soon as I drop it, it'll get changed. Also, in addition to the lower paralysis times, I've noticed it is still possible to resist a poison spell. I don't know about most of you, but I use poison ALOT in battle. It may not interupt casting anymore with the Protection changes, but it still force a melee fighter using a bandage to either drink a cure potion or heal the poison and people attempting to use Spirit Speak to heal.

Oooh boy NEVER fizzling 8th circle ... I definately do want to get to 120 then. Yeah, it'll be more expensive, but I get so sick of fizzline EVs and Resses
-
I never get used to fizzles
-
What is the cutoff point for not fizzling a 7th circle? I had heard that at 120 you won't fizzle it.
-
I know I already told you this over ICQ but I'll say it again now. You are a brave and couragous person and will do your country proud. Be safe friend.
-
ICQ me at 46719564 if you have one for sale.
-
There was another guy who was doing a NWN version of UO too ... forgot where I saw it.
-
Welcome back, Governer.
-
Healing is a must, it goes hand in hand with Anatomy. Spirit speak can be interupted easily, but you can get hit a few times and still get a bandage off.
-
I concur on the spirit speak. I absolutely love it.
